  1. That makes things "interesting" Thanks
  2. Is this a real thing? A player can steal the materials from whatever node you are harvesting from? Some of mats land far away from the gatherer. Or are the materials locked to the gatherer?
  3. Had this issue on Duelist. Passive Skill Preparation would not equip in any of the passive slots. I tried equipping it in an empty slot and a full slot. All other passives worked fine. Chat worked part of the time. Stops after info alert " Pick about to break" etc. Swapping back and forth between Me tab and Global works some of the time as a solution. Not every time. Duelist when burrowing- Sound doesn't stop when character stops. 10-20 secs after stopping the sound cuts off. This is not sporadic. Happened every time I burrowed. Intentional?
  4. Hopefully these will change. Seems a bit unbalanced to me. Gerbil half-giant, and centaur get 4-5 powers granted and good stat bonuses and extra equipment slots. Humans have (according to this pic) decent stats and maybe a extra equipment slot (cloak). What happened to the Minotaur? Dexterity? For a bull? No strength bonus? No constitution bonus? Not saying both just one or the other.. no bovine I have ever seen is dexterous. Is Rage a stat? Maybe give the Minotaur Rage and Strength (might help that fury bar refill faster. >.> just saying). Not dexterity. Also if the Centaur Human and the gerbil get extra equipment slots..the Minotaur needs to be able to equip either a bull ring through the nose (doesn't he already have one? might as well make it usable) or horn rings/cuffs. I was able to watch a bit of the stream before and after work yesterday. My company prohibits video streaming (unless it is training) in the offices and small offices like mine have no WiFi. Sad state I was in yesterday lol. I will be partaking of Tinnis's kindness and looking at the links he provided for us. Thanks Tinnis
  5. Did more thinking about this. Hunger tickers aren't a big deal to me. As another player posted above basically it is just another mechanic to learn in order to play the game effectively. I do think it needs to be tweaked to be more efficient. Also I do think having faster tickers in some of the Campaigns is a good idea. And if we have to watch our tickers we should be able to starve. This being a PVP game where players should always be aware of surroundings, managing resources etc. The idea of starvation fits. Another idea is tying the tickers to Race instead of Class or just a flat rate across the board. Races with higher Constitution have slower tickers. Lower Con faster tickers. With all affected by combat/actions. Though this might lead to no one playing others races. I have found the path of least resistance is the choice for some. Additionally I like the idea of having the first 3-5 ticks being super slow for everyone. (Can Constitution be raised by skills or gear?) Getting rid of the chicken tickers- Yes please. In keeping with my idea from above, instead of chicken legs have the screen pulse every time there is a tick. Pulse as in heartbeat. Hunger pangs. Faster pulsing is result of low ticker (close to starving) rapid heartbeat. Ever experience low blood sugar? Exactly that. Your heart speeds up, temp rises. You feel weak and dizzy. The idea of this is intriguing but in live game might be too distracting. When tickers very low character gets movement debuff and unable to execute some skills due to weakness and stamina drain. (Character is emaciated) Like the mobs during Winter when the Hunger is the strongest, characters when close to starving could appear emaciated. Skeletal skinny gear hanging off like one of the Risen mobs. I love the idea of this but I know that it is probably not possible.
  6. :-) I didn't explain very well. That's what I get for trying to think at 4 something AM. I will be more detailed when I get home from work. Hate doing this on my phone.
  7.  I know quite certainly that I myself have no special talent; curiosity, obsession and dogged endurance, combined with self-criticism, have brought me to my ideas.

  8. Can't sleep so here's my ideas about the Hunger mechanic. 1. Take Hunger away completely. Use only in short Campaigns and have the Hunger 2-5 times more powerful. During these campaigns starvation is possible. 2. Another idea would be to do away with Hunger during Spring and Summer. Increase resources during those two seasons. Add slow very slow tickers in Autumn and start decreasing resources. Winter comes around resources gone and tickers increase, due to the spread of the Hunger. Only during Winter is starvation possible. Sieges in Winter could result in slow death by starvation if there wasn't adequate resources stored. I know its a waste of time and resources but I would love to see something like a player with only a few ticks left in Hunger bar..their screen pulses in time to rapid heartbeat. They slow down-movement debuff. Become dizzy. Character is emaciated unable to execute some skills. Just a thought
  9. Before I put my two bits about Hunger here, is it possible to get a link to more information about Hunger? The link that Tinnis posted last year isn't working for me, and I have searched the site and forums to no avail. Is the Hunger tied to Race? It seems tied to Class and actions. Confessor burned through tickers like crazy (I don't care for the chicken legs. Too Minecrafty) Myrmdion seemed slow but also food didn't seem to add as much as it did to human. Maybe just me. Thanks in advance
  10. First time testing and I know the durability on the gathering/harvesting tools has been noted, and is being worked on.. hopefully Also if I have posted anything that is already known I apologize. 1. Saturday logged in for the first time.. music was super loud. Tried turning it down nothing. Slide it to 0 still was able to hear the music. While others sounds very low even turned to 100. Tried with headphones and without. Logged in and out still super loud. Adjusted main controls on computer and speakers, did nothing. This was on Scorn East. I logged in today and the music was fine.. 2. Ping and FPS (not sure if this has been posted)- Scorn East very low ping. Always green. FPS super low always yellow or red. Corruption West very high ping yellow and red constantly. FPS always green. Now I don't need super high FPS just want to be able to move/fight/ etc without lag, and my setup runs most other games well. One of the reasons why I wasn't able to experience much combat in the two days I have played. Standing still I was able to get over 40 FPS. Fighting harvesting never above 35 with lag spikes during combat resulting in massive damage to my character. Did a lot of running away I guess I could play on the West servers if there is no lag there. I live in SE United States so I automatically choose East. Large structures-lodges the blue crystals all made FPS very low. 3. Unable to use chat entire two days played. I switched tabs multiple times and after leaving a server and coming back. Never worked. 4. As Tollergames posted above, I saw houses with entire floors of grass flowers and trees clipping through. Pretty but not right. FPS super low in these instances. 10-15FPS 5. When harvesting I saw rocks with Trees spawned in them ores etc. Hard to get cursor to pick up one or the other. Same with trees in front of large cobblestone or slag. Minor inconvenience solved by moving around tree but still wanted to note it. 6. Sprint function not working on several different vessels. All on Scorn East. Mostly the Myrmidon. Worked once and then nothing. Had full bar of Stamina. 7. After crafting several items received the bad click sound. Unable to craft or equip items. Another easy fix with closing out crafting tab and opening it back up. Again thought it needed to be noted. Did this several times. Usually after crafting three minor disciplines in a row or one major discipline. 8. Had trouble getting items to stack in inventory. Mostly Dust.. so I am assuming it's not supposed to stack especially when moved to Spirit Bank. 9. Only mentioned this as I read a player saying they receive mats back when closing out Crafting menu, I did it accidentally and mats disappeared. I hadn't crafted anything so it wasn't an aborted craft. Most of these listed are small minor things, but sometimes it is the small things that can break a game. Inconveniences can add up quickly. All that aside, I enjoyed playing. I will be back next week. Looking forward to getting into character customization whenever that is going to be added. See y'all
