    Hey folks, We are aware that many of you are waiting for the new version (6.100) to go live with a Dregs campaign; the anticipation and energy is palpable. We are moving fast to accommodate that excitement, making changes as quickly as we can -- apparently too quickly, because this morning's update presented a strange new assortment of bugs and behaviors that we have never seen before.   2. This is a long post, and I intend for it to be my last post of this kind. Here's to the game finding success. Obligatory comment on performance. Improvement has been notable, but more is necessary. Now to the game. Spread us out more. Let us choose where we live and build. Shadowbane was awesome because each city was its own center of gravity. We need to be able to bind places other than the temple. Shadowbane was a cult success because guilds had different centers of gravity. The temples are a misunderstanding of how important that is.

    We need some PvP ranks

    A large portion of complaints these days seem to be directed to having nothing to do outside of siege timers besides run pigs and forts, many of which lose their value as the campaign goes on. They are somewhat right, we need the harvesting loop to be most profitable in campaign to drive extra pvp, but that is not the only solution that can be implemented. Let me introduce you to ESO's alliance ranks, the sole thing driving tons of pvp in eso. Kills gain points based on damage, healers can gain points by healing killers, bonus points for winners of battles at POI's, 64 million to reach max. I

    That's not silly at all. If you don't know what's going on you can't plan out your play testing by yourself, with friends or others and you can't help us to move on to things we should be working on right now. It's great to see the community so passionate.

    Happy Friday Crows, Here’s an update on the status from overnight testing. We've identified an issue with the death and resurrection system that was exposed by one of the fixes that went to LIVE yesterday. We’re working on a potential solution that we believe will fix those issues and are moving that to internal testing now. Based on the testing results, we are hoping to get that live later today.     Mounts in 6.100

    Just to give everyone a heads up on mounts for the near future. The current system of being able to claim an inventory item and import that inventory item is not our long-term solution. It is merely a way to get most of the pieces and parts in-game and player tested. In a future Beta milestone, when we have what we call "the Skins" system online, purchased mounts will be an account entitlement that unlocks a "mount skin", which can then be used to override the appearance of your in game mount slot. (We will use the same system for weapon appearances from KS.) Until the Skins system is

  12. I’m writing this mostly blind of much else on this forum and of any roadmaps the developers have laid out. I bought the game nearly a month and a half ago, but only started playing about a month ago. I’ve had a blast so far and hope to see the game move into a good direction and find its place in a world with ten thousand MMOs. That said, this is a list of mostly gripes with the game.   15. For people saying that uncap aoe target is not a solution and that Zerg will always win even with. If you really think that I don’t understand why you are disagree with the uncap, if it’s the same thing for you and a better thing for us, we just need to try ! Or maybe some people need to be honest and say they prefer the 5 cap target cause it give a real advantage to the Zerg!

  18. I think some people don't see the problem in the right place. Obviously if a group of zerg well formed and ready to counter a group of 5-10 players, there will be no match, whether with a target cap or not But if this same group of 5-10 players manages to surprise the zerg group, it would be interesting if they could manage to hurt the other group. Currently, this is not the case, they will be able to kill 5 players at most on impact. But if the target cap is up or removed, this group of 5-10 players will be a big threat to the zerg (they will have to manage their spotting

  19. Since I couldn't find any kind of comprehensive list or table of each race's unique weapon looks, I figured I would just make one. 4 Full scale image can be found here. Some designs are duplicates, so hopefully more will be added in the future. If you see any issues let me know and I'll update the table. It's also been pointed out that some of the weapon icons don't match their actual skins. Great maces and some Greatswords, for example.

The data from the LIVE service has been copied to TEST to facilitate the testing of the update, including a limited wipe. This will only impact resources, building materials, and mounts.   25. let’s take an example of the castle current situation the big guild brought back 80 players the defenders have 30. current technique I break a wall I go in I kill everyone because the area spells are mixed by groups of 5 out of 80 players so even if the defenders all pose their spell of zone in the same place it has no deterrent effect because the damage will be mitigated on the 80 players who will cross without difficulty ... if the fate of player affected anyone who enters the zone it would oblige to open several passage for enter, or find another strategy than the: "have gone straight

    Please for the love of everything, can we get a proper patcher? There is 0 reason why we should be forced to redownload the entire game every update. Some of us live in the middle of nowhere and 8 gigs takes a whole 10 hours. PLEASE give us a patcher. I don't understand how you guys don't have a patcher.

    Just FYI @ACE-Tiggs @jtoddcoleman the importance of this level of communication with the playerbase cannot be understated. The last two weeks have been really crazy from a bug and playability perspective but you've really stepped up your game on the communication front over the last week. It seems silly but few sentences posted like this goes a REALLY long way. The obvious takeaway here is that you've managed to build something entertaining enough that people are VERY passionate about getting back to the fight.

    I see a lot of people talking about Crowfall, bored already..etc. However, Crowfall is the only game consistently making changes, patches, and progressing the development of the game while giving you something to play as you wait. Shut up and be thankful they cared enough to let you play during development rather than do what Camelot Unchained, New World (other than the one week preview) and every other does is make you wait for years with nothing substantial to play. The MMO world is sooo dead right now and badly needs a game to come out to revitalize and very much dead genre.

  32. Alright so let me do this a different way. If the stealth bug is a bannable offense, what else is a bannable offense? Will i get banned for using a vengeance myrm? What about if im playing a slayer and i intentionally cancel my rapid fire with flintlock to take advantage of the fact that rapid fire continues? @jtoddcoleman @thomasblair

  35. IMO even in beta with all the bugs that exist ACE shouldn't be trigger pulling bans without warning. Communicate clearly to the player, "hey, it looks like you're using a bug we haven't fixed, stop doing that. We are fixing it and it isn't going to keep working anyway." After receiving a warning, and having had the opportunity to lay out stuff like "I don't know how this is happenning" or whatever that's when you can reproduce it and determine is this a thing that people can legit do unintentionally by accident or not, and that's when you can check in on this player to see if they're

  37. @jtoddcoleman @Tyrant The current system forces you to form zergs in order to survive sieges or open field battles which breaks the game : - A siege can be won by locking the map with a great number of guild members or allies. This way, your ennemies cannot get into the map because of the maximum population limit (by map). This happened to us twice this week. - Even if you raise the limit to 1000 players per map, the game won't be playable because of performance issues. And since the combat mechanic is designed for a group of 5 (limit of AOE's) how can you enjoy a 100vs100 with your Left

  43. The game has some fun and unique ideas: the strategy game, the keep building (even if not free building), the eternal kingdoms. Hopefully these will continue to improve and get fleshed out. That being said, there's a lot of pieces of this game that just aren't where they need to be. The alpha/beta debate aside, I can only hope that these parts of the game are not seen as feature complete. In many ways they're the bare minimum needed to check the 'feature exists' box. What makes it a "throne war" compared to any other open world PVP game? What is a throne war?   45. Instead of making new features or getting away from the casual friendly reasoning behind passive training, why not just make it more accessible to reach a viable spot with what already exists? Just guessing, but it seems like it would be easier to make initial training be it the basic trees or initial progress into a specialized tree come sooner and or increase the quality/outcomes of what is gathered/crafted early on.     Alliances: A Discussion

    Trying to artificially limit the ability of players to work together in a game where working together is a must, players will simply work around any obstacle of guild, alliance, map, campaign number limits. Not to say guilds should have unlimited members, but it isn't the magic bullet people believe it is. One major thing missing from the game is a reward system. Right now there isn't much point in winning in of itself. This is a very crucial piece of the puzzle that most seem to be ignoring. JTC has talked about scarcity of rewards and plans to have some degree of risk v reward. Not

  47. I'm not sure the intent of this earth faction zerg, but I think it is breaking Dregs right now. Everyone joining up with earth by default is saturating the zones with endless trains of people with little to no tactics or objectives, and creating more lag than anything useful. if the purpose of DREGS is Guild vs Guild, then we need to make sure it's legitimate guilds, and not just some guy rallying the default incoming faction. Default faction (Earth/Moon/Sun) shouldn't be active in DREGS, and there should be an actual guild tag requirement.
