  1. Which victory cards would you like to change/remove? IMO most/all victory cards tell you to go out in the open and do something. If enough players take part, there will be PvP. There is no PvP if players refuse to play a victory card. There doesn´t need to be the primary goal to kill players. When the card says "Do Caravans" and there are 10 pigs and 50 players who want to win this card, there will be PvP.

  3. I'm afraid you don't grasp the subtilities of Dregs rules Sambuka. You can win all your battles and still lose a campaign. You can get hammered alot and still win a campaign. That doesn't mean the Dregs is broken. In fact it's working pretty well. The kill/death ratio is interpretable in different ways: the number of death can indeed be an indication of activity and the effort put in capping forts ect. I personally prefer the strategy mechanisms involved in scoring points than focussing on kills. There are other games for that.

  5. Hi Crowfall Testers and Developers, First of all, the game is looking more and more polished with a real game loop. Although we are still plagued with a few game breaking bugs (OP classes, teleporting walls, performance) I think these will be all hammered out in time. What I don't see a fix for is the possible burn out that this game will cause in it's current iteration. First of all, I use to play games competitively and did that few several years. I was in several top server guilds in EQ and WoW so we I know what it's like to sit there 2 hours as we drag our corpses to a safe

  6. Leveling is an afterthought. It takes a few hours. Some classes are much better at it than others. That isn't likely to change with this patch.

  7. Three import campaigns in a row. Do you all have any kind of metric for mob spawn death rate? Some mobs in this campaign must have a 0 death rate, no reason to kill anything other than charging ults and powers. I don't think it would matter right now, since 6.1 bugs crushed newcomers and 6.2 wait has pushed many of the remaining players to do other things in the meantime, but import campaigns are completely broken, IMO. Empty world, empty game. Sign on for some mandatory no-show keeps. At this point, I don't think you realize how close your game is to having a completely non-viable t

  9. I think we need a full item wipe for 6.2, with the forts bugs and the EK dup bugs (assuming its been fixed) we should have a full wipe except passives.

  10. For me, PvP isn't limited to player vs player combat. but it has to involve at least the possibility of interacting with other players. Killing mobs to gain sacrifice items and sacrificing them to a god, especially during times outside the siege window, have little relationship with PvP. Could an enemy player show up? Sure but it's quite unlikely in recent low pop campaigns.

  11. I'm very aware of the specialty seals, but they only add crafting or harvesting stats. Yes, war tribe armors have those stats, but there's no way to put them on crafted armor.

  13. I don't see it at mostly PvE focused. The cards seem to spread out the objectives across a variety of aspects. On a related note, for you, is "PVP" solely combat, or does economic warfare, fame/glory, clan advancement, and construction/creation have a place there?

  15. Clearly, the ones with the most Victory points SHOULD be the Victor, HOWEVER, why not base those Victory cards on PvP activity?

  16. I think focussing on PvP scoring for the outcome of a campaign is a narrow approach and that the current system allows for players to take on all kinds of roles, organisators, roaming solo killers, scouts, harvesters/crafters ect. Btw, there are cards that let you score points for kills during fort and Keep siege windows, we actually got one in winter on Aliepo EU. I can image other cards having same results for PvP outcomes exist too. In short, we currently have both of best worlds in Dregs imo, a build up strategy game involving teamwork and open PvP.

  17. Both, I guess. It looks like CC put the most effort into winning this campaign and so they won.

  18. Do you mean per member or community effort overall? There is also another question connected to it: if Crowfall is a PVP focused game, than should the players with the most deaths win? And the last question to devs: Will there be a reward for PVP activities in Crowfall in the future?

  20. Hey friends. I've been testing a ton of cleric over the past few months and I think this is a good opportunity to post some builds and concepts as we begin to approach beta. The game is close to completion and balance will be coming soon, but the changes in this most recent patch alter some fundamental aspects of buffs and how Cleric is played - so I think this is worth my time. Here are the main changes affecting clerics and healing: Every player, regardless of race and class, has 10 power slots now. The last song or aura channeled cannot be interrupted. Block now costs f

  21. I honestly find this feedback at complete odds with the game today. I mean, if you find the the game too hardcore when 90% of the playerbase isnt playing then I dont know what to tell ya... Heck, the general consensus is that the game is dead outside of sieges... To prevent burnout I suggest yall to take the game less seriously, there is (without rewards implemented) literally nothing to win. I find really weird seeing posts about people and guilds getting burnout. Hell, today I had a blast playing Mario 64 and I think I can play that until 6.2 drops without problem.

  22. With changes to disciplines, they will have to wipe discs. Can they wipe equipped discs without wiping vessels? If so, that's the way to go. Wipe as little as necessary.

    KDS in Crowfall [EU]

Aliepo Campaign has come to an end. KDS would like to say thank you to our friends from Caldera and The Black Hand Order that have been our allies in this campaign and have helped up getting this victory. We would not have done this without you guys. The V alliance, though not at full force but still with NA presence, gave us quite a fight especially at the start with some tough sieges. Thank you for the pressure! After Summer though only Nordic Marauders were left holding the flag for the V alliance and they took all fights regardless of odds. Kudos to them for that. Another

  24. They can keep live up, just not put an infected or dregs campaign, Gods Reach only. Then they comply with their promise to provide a live service, while funneling people to Test.

  27. I'm left disappointed because not much changed for one of the classes that needed the most changes. There was so much effort placed into buffing right click when there are many other additions the class could have benefitted from. I can only hope some of the base kit problems are adjusted and just not mentioned here. Divine Light damage needs to be streamlined to tick like other dots (or be severely punishing), smoother pip generation (it shouldn't take 15 globals to get 5 pips unless you have a melee newb beating on your parry), and Judgement should feel more impactful as the single target sp

En prévision de la sortie de la mise à jour, nous vous proposons un premier aperçu de la manière dont les classes existantes de Crowfall vont changer et évoluer a

  30. If I were ACE I would consider holding off on that until 6.2 is more polished and some performance fixes from the Unity collaboration are in. Then do a fresh "Beta 2" or whatever to entice people to come back and give it another go.

  31. I used to be on a small (12 people) software development development team and from my experience, you're right that code can be written by solo people and to some extent even unit tested solo but, the face to face meetings are extremely valuable to discuss the overall design issues and to get feedback from other team members how their planned changes will impact my planned changes. The recent patches we've seen from ACE break more things than they fix. IMO, that is caused by not being able to work face-to-face. So, I expect that COVID-19 work from home has caused them a BIG delay to a project

  32. Too many Boomerbaners in the class design for this game. Where are the divers, the hard initiators, he physics toons, the aoers, and the obvious counters to those playstyles? We ripped out the spine implies something significantly more interesting than this.

  33. Updated the thread title to match the current patch, no significant changes needed. As an FYI for folks I WILL update this guide when the 6.200 patch eventually gets to us and changes literally everything about the game (hopefully). I also have a few other guides in the works but I will hold off on posting them until the major changes come. For class guides I'm currently working on: Full Myrmidon Guide Stormcaller Guide Confessor Guide Champion Guide Potentially a Radical Cleric guide I'm also considering writing some guides on engaging with the Crowfall

    Hunger in Crowfall

Hmm... what if instead of individual, manually-tackled hunger, it was more of a resource? What if another resource was actually like... "townsfolk" or something? Or thralls? There are already thralls, which is why I mention this. Basically, NPCs as a resource. So that, you have some little fort, and maybe you can do fine without any NPCs, building on it and upgrading/repairing it, etc. But, you get a big fortress, and it's just not feasible for your player group to fix it up without extra manpower. So, you manage to acquire 200 townsfolk to help out with it. Well, your personal character is fi
