Assassin as a class is clearly supposed to fit the 'Assassin' (or Rogue) archetype, which is said to be exemplified by High Damage and Critical Hits, Damage Over Time, Incapacitation, Small/Lightweight Weapons, Stealth, and Evasive Defense.     Dev Days of Summer

    With the anticipated Beta approaching, I want to say this before it's too late. To be fair, I don't have the largest amount of experience with the game, but i have tested all systems through the years and understand the game loops. I do believe I have more than enough experience to say that there just isn't enough there. I don't want to dredge up all the changes of direction that have been made, nor the missing features that are sure to come post launch. And though this is a community project by definition, there has to be decision makers guided by both the investors and the players. Reminder

  12. I completely disagree. Do not show behind the curtain. Some of us have figured out the damage calc, and it took time and effort. If you think a power is bugged or the description is wrong, then send it in as a bug.

  13. The last armor skill trees Leather , Mail, and Plate are unlocking at 74% when they can only be used at 75% and is throwing a 424 locked error.

  16. Should banner of Storm be overriding the damage before all my stats are applied or after? I mean, it would make sense for my damage to be the same but eletric. As is my attacks are worse because if my eletric modifiers were good I would use eletric attacks to start with. It becomes worse when you consider it is a group buff. I cant think of one scenario where I wouldnt be gimping my group by using it. So, I will take it is a bug that the power is applying the type change too early. It should only be used when taking the opponents resistance stats in. Anyone even running Standard

Ive tried aswell across several classes after seeing this and there no consistancy it seems, even with the same equations on level 1 characters with nothing but start equipment to minimise the variables doing the same equation i would get numbers all over the place some under what it should some dead on if i ignore certain bonuses and so on soo the result wernt consistant so i feel something off in the calculations but without knowing the exact equations there only speculations.

  18. Can you guys please show us how dmg and healing is calculated in this game? Like, just show us the formula. No matter what I do my predictions are always slightly wrong. Not like there is any reason for that not to be common knowledge. There is no reason for posts such as these to be popping up: Is it working correctly? Who knows! Help us help you, man.

  21. I was able to drag the bank around from my vault window and my ingots seem to have hidden themselves where I can't get them. The window will not scroll down.

  23. I'll try to elaborate on my suggestions one more time before I shut up and crawl back under my rock... Whatever is done to improve the Assassin should lean into the unique features of the class: toxins, stealth, and the pip system. It should improve the tools the class has, and also make the class playstyle more distinct. Lunge does none of these things, which is why I think lunge is a bad fix and should be removed. Currently, Cutthroat and Vandal struggles in group fights because they are leather wearing melee promotions that don't have tools to avoid being focused and stay up

  25. Seems like I failed to enter the portal and now am stuck in place. Cant logout either. After closing the game (can still quit) I spawned as if I had entered the portal. Edit: I was still able to quit the game and now I can play without issues.

  26. @Tyrant Removing AkSoundEngine.dll plugin fixed crashes, but also removed all sound from the game. I guess upgrading Wwise version may fix the crash.

  29. They are working on a way to allow us to craft multiples, since factories won't make it in before launch. They are working on part 3 of the NPE, which will include more quests, but that will be it. The quest system is just a glorified tutorial. I don't agree on more space between mobs. There needs to be a higher mob density to accommodate a larger population of players. Don't expect to get a minimap.

With the availability epic building resources from forts, even with the reduction of the amount of refined resources, the avialability of them reduces the effectivness and general need for harvesters other than for exotic materials and legendary quality. I felt blue was the sweet spot where the quality is where a spammable version for crafter wares over wartribe was viable. But with this addition the new standard will be epic and not leaving much in the terms for good, dedicated harvesters to be the best at. Alot of harvesters were already feeling unloved with the amount of blue that

  31. I really think new players need to be able to reset talent points with a starter/white quality vessel. Like... a button that consumes an exponentially increasing amount of Ethereal Dust, that you can only use in the temple... like 2 or 3 times.

  32. I also hear a lot of comments on the low quality graphics for a game slated to release in 2016. Sadly it looks and plays like an old game.
