  1. First things first my apologies for the roughshot nature of this guide, tis my first time making something like this in a long while. This guide becomes mostly relevant after you've completed the new player experience which will take you through all three temple zones. >Quick Tips - Numlock is the Auto Run Key - The Respec Scroll is located at the same location as the faction change banners. - You can change factions inside the temple by selecting one of the banners shown below, They're inside that tent/booth type thing to the right. 2. Campaign Feedback regarding the 6.520 patch: Disclaimer: Overall Competition feedback is from the perspective as an EU player, playing on the European Dregs(Guild vs Guild) campaigns the last few months and I’m sure that an American perspective exists. I’ll just lay the foundation for a discussion in this thread. Divine Favor: Glory: Making the glory category be primarily about wartribe items makes there be some reason for the PvE content of the game and a reason to do one wartribe over another. I believe the cards revolving Wartribe sacrifice items should be adjusted to be specific Lo

  3. I'll add that information in on the crafting guide to break down some of the inter-dependencies and the 'goals' for gathering. But that's a project for another day. I don't see adding information that no newbie is reasonably going to be able to acquire without getting late game help, I was iffy about including the info about foreman, but I see the question asked often enough in General chat on Infected I thought it'd be worth the explanation. Essentially I tried to stick to resources that could be self sourced (aside from foreman) on your very first day of play for this explanation.

  4. I’ve only been playing a couple of weeks very casually, so take my opinion with the amount of salt you feel is appropriate. I think a faction campaign would be a good idea but I think it would be a lot more work than some are thinking. I’ve been struck by how many people hit 30 in infected and ask what to do now, are given suggestions (pvp in sky point, join a guild, etc.), and respond with “lol nope bye poorly made dergs game”. In general hardcore players of pvp sandbox mmos seem to overrate the self motivation of the average player. Lots of people just want to chase the carrot dang

  5. What am I supposed to do if no one is online? Usually when I am on there are at most a couple hundred people on the whole server and even when I go by the raid schedule I cannot find any people. If my character is already max level and there's no one to PvP with do I just gather mats forever? Am I missing something? Are there times when a lot of people are on and the PvP is worth doing? I enjoyed leveling my character and the crafting system seems interesting enough but I find myself logging on and not having anything to do. Maybe I'm wrong and am just missing something, but it seems to m

  6. Ok some context here to understand where I'm coming from. My first MMORPG was Dark Age of Camelot. I HATED stealthers in that game at the time. As I've gotten old and matured as a gamer my opinion has radically changed and I value what they brought to the game and how nuanced it's stealth system is. For those wut don't know in DAOC assassins had to balance out investment into their stealth with investment into their weapon damage, their poison, and their crit strike (which provided their backstab/other assassin style moves). You had to choose what to be good at and what to be bad at. And

  7. This is the fundamental flaw with the game, that the dev's need to address or imo the game will never really gain the traction it needs to be commercially viable. This is not a moba - where players can join a lobby solo and they are instantly able to pvp. So the dev's in all of their wisdom gave us mind numbingly boring pve and grindy crafting / gathering with layers of difficulty purposely baked in to keep us "busy" during downtime. Biggest problem I see is that most pvpers are not interested in gathering or crafting. Second biggest problem is there is no community within

  8. What an amazing campaign we had , i would like to thank @Danneh and @Aedius for the fierce competition from the start, i hope we have more fights in the future! We gave the Glory Divine Favor win to our allies for this Campaign Guardian Angelz so this was a full sweep of rewards! EITC are recruiting still, if you like to be in a guild that sets it own goals, that looks at player progression above e-peen , that is a growing community of friendly people who are willing to share their knowledge, then come and hop on our discord for a chat!

  10. <Question> Is the Shadows Faction Campaign ready for testing? What sort of changes from Dregs are needed to make it work?
    2 points
  11. If the problem is that the game cant support both Dregs and Shadows at once then the best move for the game is opening Shadows only. The data shows people in a guild have way better chance of sticking around, so what you need to improve is retaining new players. I still dont understand why we gotta point this out.

We are a community-oriented guild with an intention of focusing heavily on trading, gathering and various unique aspects of Crowfall. We will take gatherers, crafters, combatants, scouts, and all types of self-classification because we want players who are excited about what they want to do! We are looking for members who are willing to work with new players to help then enjoy the game to the best of their ability. Lion Forge is also looking to be openly interactive with other guilds promoting community and player coordinated events, events, and trading. Each campaign we pl

  14. I believe a faction campaign would bridge the game for a lot of the new players coming into Crowfall, we are bleeding players who get lost in the switch from infected to dregs, its just such a large jump for a lot of new players who get stomped by bigger guilds. A Faction campaign will give new players a chance to group up and meet new people while they take objectives and complete tasks. This is hard to do in dregs since most people you come across in the game will be an enemy and most of the time you will be outnumbered. A faction campaign just gives a much more even play ground for ne

Post below whether you're solo or just looking to pick up one or two. If you're willing to teach, note that, and if there are class preferences that's helpful as well. Personally, I'm in a duo looking for more players. Prefer friendly people who don't mind cursing but avoid slurs. Let's chat!

    How you can improve HD

Give a buff based on goals you done for example 1% dmg/healing bonus per unique kill for your whole team, leave the circle open at 30 meters for like 5 minutes before closing all the way. This promotes early agression over hiding and farming for vendors aswell as allowing early agression groups to be able to compete with gear disadavantage (Since it be harder to get lego gear if ur killing when castle opens up) leaving circle open for 5 min before it fully closes allows the groups to get kills and finish thing naturally over RNG of hunger dmg.

  21. Yeah @Gallean aggro is all based only on damage dealt, so you could ostensibly end up tanking it yourself if your rotation is on-point lol GL HF, if you have any more questions you can find me here or on Discord as Xarrayne#5426

  22. This is an awesome guide!! Be sure to add a blurb on Critical harvest chance and Critical harvest amount Crafted gear. It can double or triple the amount of materials you harvest. A white quality crafted sets for harvesting can have better stats for combat than wartribe blues (and some epics) AND you can use it to greatly increase your efficiency harvesting. Oh and they last 4 times as long as pve dropped gear

  23. So I assume you wanna fill the support/heal role with the Archdruid? One of AD's biggest DPS sources (Gaea's Wail DoT) won't stack with another Druid's, so with this comp and yourself previously being Paladin going for healing AD would make sense... If you wanted to switch healing class from Paladin I think something with higher base SP like Earthkeeper Druid or Inquisitor Confessor would work best, and each are fun to play and have their own intricacies... But, that wasn't the question; Test is down so I can't get an in-game screenshot of it, but this is how I'd build your Half-Elf Heali

  26. When you equip a purple harvesting belt and are in Dregs, you now have access for exotic exploration disc drops(Villein, Hoarder, Foreman, etc.) Is the RNG for those discs included in with the underlying RNG for the specific harvesting discipline, or is it separate? My personal experience, I did over an hour of mining, and only got 3 Miner disciplines, despite it being 1 out of 5 possible disc drops. The exact same thing happened when skinning, where I only got Skinner and none of the possible exotics.

  27. Welcome to Crowfall and congrats on reaching level 30. The best way to learn the ropes and get involved in the 30+ gameplay is to join a guild. If you haven't done so already, take a look at recent posts in the Guild Recruitment forum. There's a new Dregs campaign coming online tomorrow which will give you lots of opportunities to be involved in PvP, advance your character further, and compete for rewards in a Guild vs. Guild campaign: You may also consider joining the Sun Faction for the upcoming Dregs campaign if you'd rather not commit to a guild. Generally speaking though,

  30. I support this, but my viewpoint comes from what I expect of an MMO and the perception this game gave me starting and now leveling up. The game lobby shouldn't be this game's main hub, were one chooses what mode they will play, be it the random tutorial separated from everything else, then infected, then dreggs and lastly the battle royale. By doing all of this you are essentially dividing your entire playerbase, from a very niche game into 4 separate "modes" basically. Ignoring MMO 101 of having a big hub were starting and veteran players can meet each other, so instead of showing a big

  38. I'm saying that's like opening a pizza shop and offering only pizza with pineapple. People who want pepperoni are not going to stay and eat the pineapple. They're going to go buy a pepperoni pizza somewhere else and aren't going to come back to your shop until you're selling them pepperoni. Saying you'll start selling pepperoni when enough people buy the pineapple isn't going to get them to come buy the pineapple. They're just not going to eat at your shop. The customers you already have are already happy with the pineapple. They're not going to suddenly abandon the pineapple because you start

  39. Yep, it is quite possible that if Shadows had been available for a long time now, the population of Crowfall would be much higher. The gap between Infected and Dregs drives people away. There might even be more Dregs pop, because people were able to get established in Shadows, stick around, join a guild, and start playing Dregs.

    We need an auction house

There isn't any reason only one form of trade has to exist. If EKs would be "killed" by making an actual accessible trade feature, EK aren't all they were originally hyped to be. While I don't expect ACE is going to do an AH until after launch, a QOL improvement could be an universal search feature to see what all vendors have be it EK or Campaign. That would be a huge saver of time. That would actually put some value/reason into players wanting to have a vendor stall on a particular EK that is popular. Would allow players to see who is crafting and selling the best items which could

  42. I can't help but feel that it's doing continued damage to the public image of the game and chances of succeeding at launch to market to, and invite new players into beta with only Dregs and no real Faction campaigns. Anecdotally, it seems like almost every new player feedback post ends at getting confused/bored with Infected, trying out Dregs, getting steam rolled, feeling stuck, and then quitting. That's assuming they make it to 30 which also seems to be not guaranteed. I get that a lot of people backed because of GvG, but I think it's the worst way to introduce new players to the game.

  43. This is a huge format change to make the day of the tournament beginning. Takes all of the wind out of the qualifiers being important when you can just reapply and get multiple chances PLUS wildcard opportunities. I have issues in general with the formatting of this tournament leaning so heavily on single match performance, which is counter to how other BR type games run their tournaments. Normally it is an aggregate score over multiple matches (sometimes factoring in kills and stuff) to see who is the overall best instead of a single match performance where someone could get lucky/unlucky.

  44. Seems like there is 2 types of Stealth in this game. The hard to use we see on Brigand. Basically a one time thing, you get caught by someone with reveal and it is pretty GG. The easy to use. Classes like Sins who can ult 3 times in the spam of 30 secs. Rats that can tunnel halfway across the map. This sorta of difference makes it impossible to balance it out. My base reveal on Ranger only works against Brigand basically. The cooldown is too damn big to get any other stealth class. Hell, yesterday I actualy managed to hit a sin without reveal (tracking where he would have gone)

  45. So, what if they made block (for builds that spec into it) a type of aoe, meaning that it affected an area around the knight (think Reinhardt's shield in Overwatch)? That would probably make block, particularly for the knight tank, a facet in pvp gameplay.

  46. OK I've been pinged on discord and on streams enough, I've updated the guide to 6.510. It's basically a full re-write with much of the content changed to accommodate Arbiters. I may have messed some stuff up with the copy and paste from my doc, let me know if you see any weird errors. TL;DR Cleric is still dank, the builds are similar, go heal people. As always, feedback is welcome in the thread or through discord.
