  1. I dunno about what kind of balance it did or did not give the game but I did think skirmishes with multiple groups were more interesting when we could hurt our allies. I'll be advocating for it when 5.11 comes... Soonβ„’

  3. Ditto this. ‴️ Also, disappointed to see language about dodge power/pips in the new High Elf racial. Still hoping dodging reverts to Stamina usage before this thing goes live. 🀞🏾

Adjudicator and Holy Avenger were meant for Templar usage but they require crushing weapons and the two-handed maces Templars were going to be able to use were nixed for launch because of how much more time the animations were going to take to make that happen. I'm hoping that Templars get their maces back ASAP after launch. 🀞🏾
  5. I have my doubts about whether or not the future players of the faction campaigns will be the same kind of players currently rolling hard in this testing phase. I think at least a couple of the impending changes will just create more work for Future!Todd in trying to revert these campaigns to a more casual-friendly environment.
  6. I barely do read the forums as of late. 😩 Threads like this and the one about how people were burning themselves out on sieges every night are a prime example of how some people take things too seriously.

  11. I want a discipline with a power that curses people when they use a damage immunity or retribution bubble or heal. Throw up the heal from Elementalist or Mudman and when I curse you you take 20% more damage from that type instead of being healed. 😈
  12. Thaaaaaat wasn't a thing that was said. The only talk of simplification was in regards to mitigation numbers being represented by an "armor" rating/number.
  13. I would assume that the stream they were going to do (that had to be cancelled due to a sick Todd) would have gotten into "why this exists." Regardless of whether it's on Test currently or not, that apparently still needs to happen.

  15. A number of weeks ago I rolled a Vandal and liked it a lot. Saw a good amount of potential, loved the way it synergizes with Black Mask, and am eager to see some kind of change to CC or CC specs to boost their viability overall (they can be fun to play currently but their utility is ham-stringed IMO).
  16. This ~trial~ ends in 6 days. If they're planning a wipe I think a "heads up" would be considerate.
  17. This, succinctly, is why I made my post. I'd like for people to enjoy killing each other, if that's what they want to do, or taking a week off if putting up with pre-alpha is wearing them down.
  18. Based on the presumptions that (1) the campaign that follows this one will be updated to 5.8.5 and (2) 5.8.5 will be accompanied by a wipe of at least our items... @Pann @jtoddcoleman If a wipe is a week away it may behoove y'all to let us know beforehand. πŸ˜‰
  19. I think, if the only way to capture a fort was to kill every enemy player on the parcel it sits on without any other changes to the game, the meta would be exactly the same.
  20. Duelists can wear plate armor but they're not in the "meta" because they require actual attentive healing, unlike Champs and Myrms, was kinda my point. Eh, that mail has decent mitigation and enough HP to buffer berserk downtime. One of the downsides of the melee ball meta is that it negates Myrmidon vulnerability to an extent, apart from how Retaliate and its invulnerability buff makes CC kind of a joke. A Myrm surrounded by ally melee characters can worry a lot less about negating their crash.
  21. No, The Blob Meta is a reflection of the fact that Champions and Myrmidons can kill people while requiring minimal amounts of healing while wearing plate armor stacked with HP. However many melee specs there are is irrelevant. You're not stacking Wardens and Brigands and rapier Duelists in your blobs, c'mon. πŸ™„
