    Duelists can wear plate armor but they're not in the "meta" because they require actual attentive healing, unlike Champs and Myrms, was kinda my point.
    Eh, that mail has decent mitigation and enough HP to buffer berserk downtime. One of the downsides of the melee ball meta is that it negates Myrmidon vulnerability to an extent, apart from how Retaliate and its invulnerability buff makes CC kind of a joke. A Myrm surrounded by ally melee characters can worry a lot less about negating their crash.

    I don't see them changing the animations for Binding Arrow or Suppression Shot because of how powerful they are in group combat, which is what they design and balance this game around.

    No, The Blob Meta is a reflection of the fact that Champions and Myrmidons can kill people while requiring minimal amounts of healing while wearing plate armor stacked with HP. However many melee specs there are is irrelevant. You're not stacking Wardens and Brigands and rapier Duelists in your blobs, c'mon. 🙄

    After doing some testing on a few different DoT effects (severe poison, severe corruption, and severe bleeding), I noticed there is super low dmg scaling on all of the DoT's. For example, raising my weapon damage by 21 points of damage resulted in a less than .5 DPS increase per point on all 3 of the severe DoT effects, with severe bleeding being the highest at around .47 DPS per weapon dmg point and corruption being the lowest  at .33 DPS per point of weapon damage. 
    I have to assume that the scaling does not increase as you get to higher weapon damage breakpoints. So, assuming it does and you have say a 160 damage weapon you are gaining roughly less than 40 DPS on the highest scaling DoT effect going from a entry-level white weapon to that 160 dmg epic or whatever. That's pretty inconsequential, especially within group fights, when people have the amount of self-sustain they currently do. 
    While DoT effects do have stats they can scale with (penetration, dmg bonus, AP I assume, and weapon dmg)...other damage abilities gain way more late-game damage scaling between those same respective stats on top of crit damage and crit chance. And remember, jewelry does not give bonuses to DoT effects but does to crit hit chance, crit hit dmg and basic attack damage.  And even though they have these stats, they are scaling at a lower ratio than flat damage abilities. On top of this, it's infinitely easier to counter and sustain through the DPS of a DoT effect compared to a flat damage ability that may have the same DPS but gets applied in one damage instance.
    My question is this: should DoT's have some sort late-game scaling mechanic or even any mechanic similar to crit hit chance/dmg? or should DoT effects fall off as character get better gear and better stats (mainly crit hit/dmg)? Should DoT effects be a secondary bonus or damage source within the game or should you be able to build around DoT effects and still be rewarded with the same or similar power curve as flat damage ability builds?

    I don't think I've played an MMO with large battles in which this wasnt't the case.

    It wasn't too long ago that everyone and their brother were rangers plucking people from 90m at 1000 dmg per shot. I've been around long enough to see the swings in meta. 
    I think the problem is they balance with a sledge hammer instead of a scalpel.

    Currently you can glide while stealthed (you can glide in or out of stealth but you can switch between the two until you touch ground again) but Blair has indicated during livestreams that he plans to change that.

    I'm really digging the war tribes. They're even more fun now that they're starting to get itemized with interesting loot. 
    Anytime I open with a net pull on a monster it stands there idle until the net wears off and regens its HP back. You can see this in the first video below.  At times it can be difficult to loot monsters especially if multiple die in the same spot. When trying to loot you seem to get the same grave over and over again because it's always empty after looting initially.  Campfire effects stack right now so placing multiple camp fires means you regenerate faster. Each campfire you're standing in ticks individually at different times based on when the campfire was placed.  I had a berserk crash where I was clearly channeling pulverize. I think it was due to retaliating right before hitting pulverize in rapid succession. The pulverize animation played but the game didn't register it so I took a crash. You can see this in the 2nd video below at 0:25.  Looks like the berserk buff got changed to "force shield"? Tooltip doesn't reflect this change AFAIK.  The wartribe respawn rate is just a tad high. I assume this is just for testing right now.

    Runic Shields are buggy....
    0-0 Damage....
    And new "Armor" stat on Runic Medium Shield (Not on regular Medium Shield)
    Guessing this has something to do with upcoming changes.
    As far as I can tell, not figured into current damage calculations, but does show up on char sheet

    If mounts end up being killable as I thought @jtoddcoleman once stated they would be, the speed bonuses will probably still feel beneficial in the future. If not... yeah.

    I like the new Oath of Will Icon Wartribes drop their relics now! Yaass! Collecting 10 relics seems a bit excessive, no? The basic runebind was only 3 parts What are these Enbarri and where do I genocide them for their relics? Esoteric Runestone and Spherical Cut Gemstone recipes don't list under Runecrafting and Jewelcrafting, respectively I used my Ult to get out of a Knockdown, but I was still knocked down after the ult Attacks randomly don't connect with my target, even though they're in range Some Satyr Clerics act like Confessors and some Satyr Confessors act like Clerics. It's really random when they act like that. Maybe I killed too many of them in my search for Satyr Relics Looting Satyrs, Urgu, and Aracoix have the same issues as looting Risen: If they die too close to each other, it becomes a pain to try and loot them because their loot interacts overlap and you often loot bodies you've already looted before. This doesn't happen with animals because they turn into a carcass once they've been looted I like the adding of Canyons and Forests to Siege zones, but maybe populate them with some mobs/resources? They're barren and there's no reason to explore them Every Map is linked to the same zone twice (except the Free City). i.e. Chaos Temple has two portals to Maiol and Helltorn, each. Helltorn has two portals to Roanoke Empire, and Roanoke Empire as two portals to the Balance Temple, etc. Very much dislike getting ganked by Aracoix Assassins 😩 (which either means they need tuning or are working as intended) Some times my powers don't appear to go on cooldown, which has me trying to spam them, even though they're on cooldown. I found an Ice Damage Femur. Aracoix Frostweavers when?

    If you format your main hard drive, but have Crowfall on another drive, you will lose the C++ Runtime and other programs that are installed for the game to run correctly. I was able to still launch the game without the required additional files. It is playable but super unstable. Not sure if this has been reported yet. Cheers.

    It's very hard to test barrier stuff because the game doesn't give us nearly enough information on our own barriers.  However:
    Force mage reactive barrier seems to prevent the barrier from noble blood from taking effect. Force mage reactive barrier doesn't seem to block any damage - the buff remains active even whilst damage is being taken (I imagine this is the +100AP portion and not the actual barrier, though) Barrier size doesn't seem to be modified by CON or by the Force Mage bonus - the stat on the details page changes, but the amount of effort to drop a barrier doesn't seem to.  Again, this is really hard for us to test due the significant variation in dmg from any given attack. The combat log doesn't show barrier damage absorption.
