Yes, remove pvp banking and encourage people to have more accounts to store items.

I see many here who think  "those who are unhappy must be the ones that want quest, tab target or PvE/raid/Instance. It is quite opposite. Action aim target game is a lot more common than you  think. Over 40 million plays Overwatch.  When you create a action target game it needs to meet certain criteria.  When it feels floaty, FPS drop, giant hit boxes, half the screen is covered with UI then it deserve to criticized..  UI is as important as combat because you spend more time dealing with UI than actual combat.
For me the criteria of success of a game  is simple.
Is it your main game?  Is the game so addicting that you rather call in sick and play that day?  Do you look forward to coming home and play ASAP?  When it comes to Crowfall the answer is no to all 3.

After watching the Dec Twitch stream with Todd and Blair, I just wanted to comment about room and area decorations.  Please, please, please do not just make Barbie dream house, Carebear, and My Little Pony items.  Do add in some things for the darker aspects of the Gods.
Not everyone wants to prance around in an EK of pastels and bright colors.  Let me have some eternal shadow and night.  Let me decorate my EK where Malekai would feel at home.  You know, some place a psychopath like Batman would not feel out of place.  Some place the Dark Lord would hold court and display his wealth and power.
Head spikes, definitely head spikes.  Darkened hall ways lit by flickering torch light.  Think medieval Rus Viking opulence in one room with dank torture chamber just down the way.

The vast majority of my guild literally can not be bothered to playtest another early access game and get wiped when they could be playing a game where their progress sticks around.
These people are excited for crowfall, but don't see any point in playtesting a thing until its in beta a month away from the final release wipe. Especially with how often entire systems are revamped or entirely upended, or how many basic QOL things are missing that just make the game more of an annoying chore than its already annoying chore of an economy is.
They're not interested in testing an unfinished product and their only interest in prerelease play is to get familiar enough with the game to have an efficient start on day 1 of release.
Imagine having all of the great games, movies, and TV that have come out in the last 5 years at your disposal and choosing to do nothing but play a half finished alpha of a progression focused genre that wipes out your entire account progression every six months to a year because it's in testing.
There's a reason people get paid to do that. It isn't actually much fun for the vast majority of people. Not everyone is as hardcore a masochist as our forum celebrities are.

Just to add to what everyone else is saying, you dont really need to buy runetools. They are very simple to make and you can just take the mats needed to someone who is trained in runemaking and have them make you the tools. Some people will do it for free and others just want a tip (usually dust or chaos embers). All new players have these same problems. They feel too behind because of skill training and its understandable without the catchup mechanic in place. However as long as you can farm the mats then you can always find a trained crafter to craft whatever is needed for cheaper then buying it at a player vendor. Also most of the time, stuff sold at player vendors are just stuff that is worse than what the crafter can actually make or use. Sometimes its even flawed assembly stuff. So its usually always best to just go directly to the crafters with mats.

Pitfighters are a class dmg hat doesn’t require a single discipline to play their role.  For that reason they usually take some sort of utility that is complementary to their group.

A pitfighter and a cleric aren’t really going to kill anything so you might want to look for some dps to add to your group.  Short of that, increased survivability through something like elementalist or runecaster might be a good option.  Plaguelord possibly for your utility, lots of options here.  Could even go for more mobility in escape artist or juggernaut.

Until we get a balance pass during 5.110 Siege Engineer as a dedicated part of keep groups is not worth it.  Their abilities simply don't get good value with how quickly siege equipment is destroyed right now.
Depends on how you want to specialize.  Your primary role as a pit fighter is initiation and front line as part of a hold or a push and you're able to push deeper than most with your survivability.  Your disciplines should specialize the role further.  You aren't meant to DPS as a tank spec so you should avoid damage oriented disciplines unless it is a very specific fit to maximize a group comp.  You're better off mixing and matching CC, buffs/debuffs, and survivability in a way that is fun for you and can contribute well in any situation.

Siege Engineer is uncommon on the battlefield. It is needed to craft siege engines, but that is usually the work of crafting alts.
Once crafted, the engines are so fragile, and given such high target priority, that dedicating a player to shield and repair them is not considered worth loosing a combat disc.
Your mileage may vary, but that's the accepted meta.

"complex character system" is always going to be a lie. It's not so complex that a meta won't be developed immediately with optimal loadouts for each position on the battle field. All of the "complexity" will be destroyed by spreadsheets the moment the player base shows up.

A common vessel with good tribes gear and appropriate disciplines can contribute to a siege fight if played well.
You won't be laying waste to the enemy and they won't run in fear at the sound of your name, but in a 50v50 fight having one more healer or tank on the field is never a bad thing. Even a bad player is at least a bullet catcher and makes your force appear more formidable... So long as the healers know not to let him become a healing sponge.
If we're talking about arranged 10v10s for bragging rights then yeah, gear before you show up.

I'll be more than happy to craft ya a vessel or two for a modest fee of Chaos Embers depending on how good you want the vessel to be and save ya the trouble of mineral harvesting (just one ember if you want a basic blue with no additives).  You most certainly should be considering joining a guild, though.  New and returning players are always welcome on the underdog faction of Order and Eldritch is always looking for more peeps.
As for siege strategies themselves, if you're on your own you're going to want to try and keep a close eye on where the bulk of the defenders or attackers are and move with them, depending on your class you'll want to try and support based on your role.  Pit Fighters are great initiators to pull enemy attention due to their survivability and inquisitors should be in the back line laying down damage.

Bodies and gear are a product of being in a guild.  Your only option to truly experience sieges is to join one of the guilds who regularly participate in sieges.  They are all capable of helping you get the gear/vessel/game knowledge you need to do siege.

What Fryyka said. We have plenty of body parts and we have the training. Ambrosia is one of the more annoying things to get but some people have some or have bought some prior so I can do the assembly easily enough for those who don't have the training or body parts to do so.

I think it would be great if, for example, chaos had 100k points, balance had 400k, and order had 500k, if 1 dedicated chaos player could lay waste to dozens of opponents. Because in that kind of point situtation, odds are, there is only 1 chaos playing at that point anyways, and it would be hella fun for that perso, instead of so pointless they just log off.

I spend most of my time harvesting in the campaigns because crafting is what I like the most. I have no desire to gank noobs and while sieges can be fun, they aren't meaningful at this point in the game. That doesn't mean they will never be meaningful. All you have to do is look at the changes that are coming to see that.
You're playing an imbalanced, underpopulated faction war where the outcome doesn't matter. Of course you aren't getting what you wanted. The Dregs is going to be a completely different beast, and populations won't always be this low.
If the current game isn't to your liking, then wait until 5.110 is pushed to Live and try again.

Eh, and here I am reliving my fears from many months ago that this game would become a slightly (slightly) prettier looking Minecraft. Oh well, I guess a political throne war similar would really would just be Economics: the Simulator anyway.
Honestly, I was hoping the game would be more centered around PvP and reasons to encourage PvP but so far that doesn't seem to be the case. Honestly, I kind of realized Crowfall probably wouldn't be the game I hoped it would when they added the terrible leveling curve and then allowed it to be done mostly (entirely?) in safe zones. Camelot Unchained at least seems to be leaning more heavily on the PvP side of things, so I still have some hope...
Unfortunately, CU has missed all its timelines just like Crowfall and its ability to even release as a viable product remains just as dubious, so I guess I'll clench my buttcheeks for another year and see what the dice say. 2021 here we come, I guess. There's not much new and fresh out there in the vein of competitive PvP games outside of the heavily monetized stuff owned by questionable companies like Hearthstone, Siege, and League...
And man, when all these stumbling crowd-funded MMORPGs eventually flop I really do think that's going to be the nail for the genre. The next couple of years are looking bleak for any PvP lover hoping for something fresh.

I want a place to set up decapitated heads with spikes on them.  Kind of like this ...

IF it was up to me I would want to have shrunken heads in the houses of my EK and the heads of my enemies decorating the roads.  Though I do suppose it would be fun to plant some npc heads up to mark borders and such out in the Dregs.
