  1. I feel like Scarlet Witch should have had a few more moments of badassery like when she threw the cars at Iron Man and when she blasted Vision underground. Like, for god's sake, she's freaking telekinetic, you'd think she'd use it to more effect. Black Widow was simply awesome in every respect. Antman didn't ever use his ants to help him! All in all it was a good movie but there were a few 'really?' moments.
  2. I won't craft for the most part but my friend McFear has a huge interest and has had a huge interest since Raph Koster started working with ACE. I'm very glad to see so many people contributing their hard work to let me do my hard work!
  3. ...that the heart does, go onnnnnnnn.
  4. And when you get JamesGoblin's approval you are given the great gift of.... A ridiculously long lore story that tells you everything about JamesGoblin's backstory. How he began his long, heartfelt journey of optimism. How he overcame the Great Monster of Opinion E.T.C. Ironically, JamesGoblin hasn't yet liked this at the time of this post.
  5. Hey! I was just wondering if the Ranger's self buffs carry over when you swap weapons. It would set up some great combos if it did (Ricochet Shot into Rapid Fire into melee attack with Wicked Intentions. This one'd be very hard to pull of but the payout would be great).
  6. While I do understand that we all want PvP and lots of it, especially me, we need PvE to a certain extent. Sure, crafting is going to be where we get 90% of our gear, and definitely 100% of our good gear, we still need resources. Gatherers should be getting these resources for the crafters and where do they get them? Out in the E part of this game. They're gonna mine nodes, fish, and hunting. Hunting is obvious, you need PvE. Fishing can and has been done without actual enemies, just good spots to fish. Mining without a doubt can be done without mobs. But here's the dilemma with fishing and mining, we want to make this hard, especially in The Dregs. We definitely don't want people AFK waiting for their character to finish mining, we also don't want people spamming a button for half an hour... That's what macros are for. So we use what we have now, increasingly dangerous mobs that attack gatherers and possibly even caravans. This makes it so you can't sit there spamming your resource vein getting 1000 silver ore and going over to the crafter and he turns it into free awesome armour for your entire guild and instead, you get 10 from one vein and then it runs out because that one is near your castle and you use it a lot, now you have to go out and get 10... OH WAIT THERE'S A MOB! RUN! So now you come back and have 10 silver. You go out again and it happens again. 20, 30, 40. Until that node runs out. Thus making it more difficult. In short, we need hunger dome style mobs at least to make things more interesting. And no, don't accuse me of supporting a PvE game, 'cause that's not what I'm doing.
  7. Well we can guess that there will be some sort of gun. The Guinecean's art points this out.
  8. So... This is a topic that I'd really like answered. I was looking at the video with the Ranger's melee basic left click ability (I'm guessing ) and I realised that this is a lot like what I'd expect the Assassin to do. So I started pondering the idea that you (The Devs) may be planning on reusing animations, I believe that this is an efficient way to save time, but it looks bad. Playing Guild Wars 2 I discovered many reused animations (Such as the Thief's main dagger combo) and it was kind of underwhelming, I finally got a dagger on my Necromancer and then realised it shared its 1 with the Thief. So I ask thy greatnesses who have been bestowed the benevolent name "Developers", do you plan on reusing animations? (P.S. I wasn't really sure where this was supposed to go so I put it here.)
  9. I'd expect a sort of "dig under the crowd and appear on the other side" ability from the Guinecean. Sure! But having the Assassin snake through the crowd would add more tactility to the fight. Now knowing that the Assassin can and will escape from body blocking you need to prepare for it. One thing that I for one am really excited for in this game is that not everything will be balanced, which, will and has lead to some very frustrating moments, but it's variety. Something I really hate in Heroes of the Storm is that people hate the hero Nova, in my mind she's awesome and can kill an entire team in one fell swoop if played right but, other players think that she's squishy and has no real escape. Guess what? That game already has the same (albeit less damage oriented) hero with an escape. Blizzard gave Nova an escape now and she's pretty much exactly the same. I don't want every archetype to have this precious "balance" in mind during development, throw it right out the window. We have here an ability that would prevent body blocking for one archetype, not all of them, one, this is not removing the tactility to body blocking but adding more to it. You can body block all archetypes now except for the Assassin. So now what do we do? We fake her out and get her to use that ability and then body block her while its on cooldown . TL:DR Balancing everything removes tactility, not giving advantages.
  10. My favourite archetype would definitely be assassin. I'd be a scout for my guild and a DPS on the side, probably back-dooring with wings and stabbing those silly casters .
  11. Forum/Profile Name: Vaeryx Preferred "Crow" Name: Vaeryx Guild Affiliation: Serrated PVP/CWs: Definitely, won't have much time for RP. Alignment: For RP I'd be chaos but for everything else I'll have to be Order because of the guild.
  12. The woman witnessed the act of generousity, she'd never have done such a thing, let the poor be poor and the rich be rich but alas, this priest did not have the same priorities as Vethryl. She took a sip and shuddered, she expected alcohol but not this strong. She drank it anyway, perhaps she needed to be drunk in order to loosen up a bit, she couldn't have a "normal" comversation on such high a- What was that? What could he be doing, was it a signal? That was very odd. She followed the priests eye movement to the Guinecean. She looked at him with a very puzzled look. "What is your name, old man?" A new thought creeped into her mind, could this man have rivals, was he on guard as well? Maybe she'd have to protect him if he were att- A mug flew at them, spilling their brandy. Even though it was strong, Vethryl liked it. She was furious. She quickly tracked down the man who had flung it, he was a regular here, short, fat, everything about him made him seem like a drunked idiot, even the boisterous, loud way he talked, completely disregarding everyone else. In response to the mug she flung a sharp dagger across the room, langing in the wooden wall, millimetres away from his ear. "Don't you dare throw anything else or the next knife doesn't miss." The bar fell silent. She stared sharply at him until he backed down. "Anyway, what were we talking about?" She said like as if nothing ever happened.
  13. The woman followed him through the town, she noted that in order to enter the chapel, she'd have to have no defense, a good way to get ambushed. While she was good with a weapon, she hated hand to hand combat and would do anything to avoid it. She entered the bar and sat. Hands ready to spring to her weapons at any time. She asked, "What's the good stuff?" Looking around the rowdy commotion she noticed an Elken, on just as high of a guard as she, standing outside with a boy, she recognized him but at the same time didn't. She remembered him reading the vessel's name. As well Guinecean near the front of the bar.
  14. Vethryl reveled in the intimidation she had brought upon the people. She saw the old man towards her, he spoke and she laughed quite loudly. "You think you can help me? Bring me to the nearest pub, I have longed for a good drink, then, we may talk." She said begrudgingly. She made it clear that she had much experience with weapons in case anyone thought of killing her. She pulled back her cape from the side of her thighs. She had knives strapped to the sides of her leather armour as well as a very frightening polearm and a pistol, who knew what else she had hidden. Although formidable, Imperial Templar weapons had an aesthetic focus and were often made with an Elvish, swirly look, looks were more important that functionality to high ranking Imperials, perhaps it could be used against her if any problems should arise.
  15. A deep red flash of phantasmal light was seen through the windows. It perched itself upon a headstone in the nearby cemetery. Hauntingly beautiful notes were heard, all who staffed the graveyard knew that sound. A Crow was taking a vessel, the dark red colour made it obvious that this was a Chaotic happening. A young man plowed through the crowds and read the engraving on the headstone: Vethryl, Assassin, Templar, Agent of Chaos The Crow, Vaeryx, knew Vethryl would be a good vessel, feared by many, respected by others. She knew Zalena would be pleased. Other bodies she'd possessed weren't as... Adequate, the Fae, Kaeari especially. She'd never make the mistake of taking a living body again. Vaeryx's transfer was complete, the townspeople backed way as the red-haired woman once known as the assassin Vethryl rose from her grave. She spoke only six words in an voice so loud, the mountainous Rangers heard. "Where is the Agent of Balance?" [OOC]: I don't know why but I really like developing lesser side stories that intertwine with the main story. In this post (In case you don't understand) Zalena sent the Crow, Vaeryx, to seek out the Agent of Balance, Coin. I don't have plans but I will try to work my way into what's already here.
  16. [OOC]: I haven't RPed in a while, room for one more?
  17. And if we plan on having massive, 100 man, guild vs guild battles, I can tell you right now that it will not work. Confessors will be the only thing left standing. Good players will be playing the Dregs where there are no allies to kill.
  18. Hello... It's me... I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet... Welcome to the forums!
  19. I actually had an idea that was similar to this. A Guinecean and an Assassin burrow down under the enemy army, Guinecean digs tunnels under the back lines and one by one drops them underneath. While this is happening, the Assassin that came down with him kills the enemies he's dropping. Kinda complicated but it might work.
  20. It has ridiculously beautiful graphics, especially on Hoth. I love the mechanics on the vehicles. An awesome game, just waiting to decide if I should get it.
  21. I dabbled in Skyforge and the combat seems to be very similar to Crowfall
  22. With the recent change for the Legionnaire from DPS to Support, the last three were revealed in a sequence of DPS>Tank>Support. Assassin/Frostweaver>Templar>Forgemaster if they do the same sequence.
