  1. That's the thing.. it will matter, trust me. It's like comparing a keyboard turner to someone that doesn't. Or comparing a keyboard user to a controller user in FFXIV. Reaction times and awareness are totally different. As I said before, I think it's nothing more than a gimmick marketing niche.
  2. All I can say is I hope you have a spare neck after a gaming session. If turning your head doesn't turn your view point the would ruin your said immersion. If I had to pick between a VR users and a non VR user for my campaign group.. you bet I'll pick the non VR user. VR sounds awesome on paper / concept for the game. Even has the whole "OMG SO COOL" reaction, but the reality of it for MMO I just don't see it working. I personally think due to having the ability to add VR via Unity 5 at ease, ACE is using that to get a little extra press attention for the game. And there's nothing wrong with that.
  3. Any of these said games MMO's?
  4. I read it, and yes... I can't imagine VR in a 3rd person view.. that defeats the purpose to me. Expensive piece of hardware to not play in 1st person.
  5. Perhaps in a server that has a ruleset forcing everyone to be in 1st person. But 3rd person is the way to play MMO's; giving the players better awareness of their surroundings.
  6. Personally, I feel like VR is unnecessary for Crowfall or any MMO for that matter. Unless you plan on playing in first person, which I highly doubt. Third person VR sorta defeats the purpose.
  7. Food for thought as well, perhaps Curse paid ACE to be their "Official" Wiki.
  8. But that's the thing... the Dev's didn't make one.. it's made by Curse.
  9. Not just props in the KS, also added a link to the Wiki on their main page. That's a real slap in the face towards the community created Wiki's =/
  10. Looks like ACE has added a direct link to the Curse Wiki on their main page.
  11. Something to note, no one can find this Wiki unless they have a direct link right now. It's not listed under their Wiki menu.
  12. Correct you can, but they stated they won't be streaming.
  13. Updated! :3 Going to keep this thread strictly for streams right now. Thank you! Please submit using the provided template.
  14. Those that pledge Amber+ will be getting a physical collector's edition, has there been any detail released what it will include?
  15. Updated! :3 Tweet only mentioned Alpha / Beta. I'll see what I can find out about Pre-Alpha. Please use the provided template and resubmit.
  16. I agree! Many of the stretch goals seem "core" aspects of the game and not just perks they would like to add if funding is hit. Sorta understand why people aren't "impressed" with them.
  17. Yeah, I'm a bit surprised that they are working with a major company already like Curse for a Wiki when there have been a couple community made ones already out there. www.crowfallwiki.com http://crowfall.wikia.com/wiki/Crowfall_Wiki

  19. I'm pretty sure the servers currently planned with in within the United States. Those are priority for now till they get more funding for an EU server, which is one of the stretch goals seen on the payment page. http://crowfall.com/#/payment
  20. While I disagree with being premature. I will agree with your statement on streaming being a source of income for some and there are those that will ride the "hype train" of new games just for the viewers. That being said, it's up to the viewer to decide if they are worth watching or not. Once the game officially releases a "Live" version of this streaming directory can be created for those that are sticking with the game.
  21. Updated! :3 It can go both ways.. while showing off testing can give the wrong impression if it doesn't look appealing, but it can also generate "hype" for the game as well. You're welcome and awesome! "The core module is estimated to be delivered by Winter 2016. First release (with partial functionality) will begin alpha testing in late Summer 2015." https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/crowfall/crowfall-throne-war-pc-mmo
