    Your probably talking about my vid? The last part was of Destrin's footage was just clipped in. We were were trying to figure out the 80% damage from exiting a catapult. So I just edited it in to to show both sides of what caused the high damage. 
     
    Anyway, nice vid. Loved the part where player fell after loosing that chunk of the keep wall.

    Mostly just uncut gameplay. It isn't anything special as I was messing around with setting between each game to see what improved things or not as well as it being on the euro server.
     
    I'm running a gtx 1080 to give a frame of reference for the performance I was getting.

    My quote could easily be read hyperbolically.
     
    Solo players will be able to have fun of sorts in CF, probably. But the game is not being designed with them in mind in the least. This game is being designed from top to bottom as a group game. Solo play just isn;t important to that. Maybe good solo play will pop up, but I think those "solo" players will still have guilds and just do a lot of X, Y or Z on their own, whether crafting, gathering, taming, whatever.

    i remember being confused as to why a ranger with no hp ran up to me and tried to stab me.........

    a point blank dismissive wave with faerie fire stun via plate enchant and a single spark quickly stopped those shenanigans 
     

     
    re: energy and cross slash.

    i like the idea of this power and have tried using it a lot.

    but in practise i find that initial hit is too low and the bleed, even though it stacks to three, is not enough.
     
    in terms of energy usage to damage it is not as good as:
     
    #3 sweep and jab (low cooldown, low energy cost due to auto crit)
     
    however the now number one uses of energy has to be #6 - the cooldown of this combo combined with SELF STAMINA RESTORE and spinstep spam and then a weapon break debuff is far far too good.
     
    also now worth mentioning is the #2 slice n dice combined with C. Sustain does actually sustain us now! YAY however as you note - this power is intentionally energy draining as it is designed to be.

    nah. leather actually has the strongest damage reistance of the armors for earth / lightning! (leather good vs magic. bad vs physical). leather better than plate for magic resistance.
     
    it looks like the tornado hit you far more times than is normal - because it was crossing from the right side of the catapult to the left side when you were 'coming out' of it.
     
    so you were stuck in that animation - with the torando coming along in the perfect time (usually it would of knocked you away and only got one or two hits - but that did not apply due to dismount)

    Guess I should really be thanking Destrin for that Wicked Winds DPS.. ouch!
     
    I got a little confession though, I had to play on 4g LTE this game (cause my cable internet was damaged)
    So a combination of AUS latency mixed with cellular 4G, I may have never fully entered into the catapult. (seems that way at the beginning of destrin video)
    ... Unless Wicked Winds is really that OP against full leather armor..

    The answer is A.
     
    Though it does look like Gaea's Wail may have damaged her a little bit while in the catapult. After watching it a few more times I am unable to confirm if Wail is damaging players inside the catapult.

    the cool downs on forest step and disengage are far too long for what they do [45s, 60s] - combined with their long animations and cast times need improvement. 
     
    spinstep okay recently after distance increase - but i think ranger should get a 'free double cast' on spinstep like the champion.
     
    still hesitant over adding mobility while charging bow attacks and most spells personally though.

    Exactly. I want ranged attacks that root you in place and hit like a truck. Ranged characters should not be able to go toe to toe with a melee class by bouncing around the world while simultaneously shooting like some wacky cartoon character. If a range character is left unmolested, however, they should bring the pain.

    I agree that combat needs to feel more fluid in CF.  However, I don't think that BDO is a good model for combat as a matter of taste (as you indicate, it is on the fast side and I think it looks a feels a bit spazzy).  CF's combat needs to be less hitchy.  Of course, if combat is sped up, TTK has to be adjusted to compensate.  As far as the Ranger is concerned, I have fallen in love with the basic ranged combat in Gloria Victis.  It has:
     
    *Skill based aiming (you have to adjust for distance and movement--lead your shots)
    *Skill shots (head shots for crits)
    *Slowed movement when drawing or firing the bow
    *A release mechanic allows for lower damage quick shots and higher damage full pull duration shots (a optimum window for maximum damage is only there for a second or two)
     
    If bow combat was done like this in CF, I would have to have a Stalker or Ranger Vessel.  It is amazing how fun and satisfying this simple bow mechanic actually is.

    pleeeeeease tell me you recorded you first person view of the flying? there was no new patch on later test - unless server / lag issue...
     
    i spent a good number of games trying to replicate what you did using ranger #3 sweep in that exact spot with no luck
     
    FYI: ALL THIS IS WHY EVERYONE SHOULD RUN SHADOWPLAY RECORDING!

    Hi,
     
    A tip for those wishing to better report bugs.
     
    I recently upgraded my machine it came with a pretty handy video recording tool - ShadowPlay (inside Geforce experience)
     
    Its basically like the share tech used by ps4 / xbox one. when you turn it on it will passively record the last X minutes of gameplay (1-20 minutes).
     
    You hit a hotkey if you want to save the last X minutes.
     
    alternatively you can manually just turn recording on and off as you like as top of that too.
     
    if you can use the program depends on your GPU if supported

    p.s. if you have a SSD you are better off setting the save and temp save locations to an alternative HDD so you don't decimate your ssd with repeated writing.
     
    Just thought i'd share - finding it handy to review bugs and other elements of gameplay after the fact. (or you want to save an epic team fight!)

    yup that was me. I simply cast the "BeamMeToSP" ability.. apparently didnt work.
    But, ya, I posted the bug in test feedback already. It's ranger daggers #3. They may have already fixed some of it cause that ability felt less motion on the later test. But was def a crazy ride..
    Now I just need the vid of me being chained pulled off top of the keep all the way to bottom last test to add to the collection..

    I was so careful about running about in public.  There were rumors about permadeath and becoming a blue glowy; information was so sketchy back then, so I had no idea what really happened.  I carried around a spare set of clothes so I had a disguise to wear when entering populated areas.  Good times.

    My lineup would be (in no particular order)  :
    Player cities / housing in its entirety Player Driven Economy The outstanding PVP, and the politics that came with it.  BH / Jedi system. I was a pre-cu jedi, but loved the on edge feeling of being hunted by a BH, or doing the hunting. Limited lifespan of all items in game. This fueled my second bullet point.  Varying item stats. The rarity for someone to have an item with the exact same stats. Resources / Crafting  Buffing system in its entirety.  
    For the record, I played on Eclipse
