  2. Update: Hail! Last night the new Shadowbane Emulator team launched our first sever. We’re happy to report that the focus we had on stability and performance paid off and we had virtually no reports of lag or rubberbanding! The server barely felt the load last night as you can see in the two screen shots below. We also set some records for population, with over 1200 unique accounts having registered with the launcher so far (compared to 400 last launch) and a peak population of almost 500 ingame at once. Below is a heat map of where those players hailed from.
  3. We have put a hold on major content changes at the moment while we work on core issues. Once we are a bit further down the line of the server feeling better to play in, content and balance changes can be more of a focal point. I would be more than happy to have a constructive discussion on state of rogues. I know we are not able to make everyone happy, but am open to constructive feedback.

  5. I had completely forgotten about the SoldierXXIVVVI's until you brought that up. Was never impressed by them, they took longer to kill but never were effective. Rogue group was the most fun to play, and most fun I have had in Shadowbane, only group I remember having issues with was the Bird Chucker Barb group later on in the server as they actually trained the damage shields. Def anything was garbage at banes. Elf AM channys & Oksop dropped that trash in 1-2 casts.
  6. We tried to sail that ship for far to long. I don't believe we made the switch back to ARAC until after about 6 weeks. At that point damage had been done.
  7. Hoping to stand on our feet this iteration, we had a massive drop off in activity after a few weeks last round due to going lore and it not working out. We tried to push through it for too long which just burnt a lot of our members out.
  8. Only mark I can see that they left on SB was RoFL's accounts receivable ledger. Payment is long overdue.

  12. What you missed in Shadowbane was it was not about just getting killed, you can loose quite a bit more in that game.
