  1. Also, Family-oriented can mean whatever you as the person feel it is. It might be a guild that is a giant family or a guild that is welcome to families. Whatever it maybe the definition is entirely up to the person, their views and what they believe in. We shouldn't correct people on their deifinitions of word, we should accept and understand their view point DHL understand that not everyone can be in teamspeak all the time they are online gaming, we do ask you to jump in and listen when we run raids and big events but there is no requirement to speak. We are like a family and we do have real life families within our guild, we cover many areas when it comes down to it. We have people that like PVP, PVE, Casual gamers, Hard core gamers, people who like building cities and houses, people who like forums, people who like chatting and people who like to craft. We have a span of many people and many things of many cultures and many races. Different opinions is always nice and refreshing and helps us grow as a whole, we accept everybodies opinions. I agree with Powet, find a guild you like and join them. Make up your own mind. Like I have said before, I'm open to questions of any type so just hit me up
  2. I'm sorry, I am unsure what servers we were in in Shadowbane. But if you'd like to know more I can get that information for you Silentil, I'd like to speak with you
  3. That's be interesting but could be difficult to do.
  4. Silentil, I'd like a word with you.
  5. Hastur905, The Dark HorseLords have several Guild members with the exact same pack We have been in Shadow Bane but I am almost certain we are not in Neverwinter, this I will have to look into. Poweti has joined us in Archeage, to see how we are in order to make a correct judgement on whether or not he thinks us good enough. At the moment our website is going to be redesigned so it should provide you all with more information as to who we are and what our principles and philosophies are Also just as a side note DHL have been around since ShadowBane Circa 2003. Throw me any questions you have in the mean time and I will answer as soon as I am able.
  6. I'm just briming with so many questions about the Hunger but I couldn't find the appropriate forum area to put this in. I guess this is as good as any place. Might create more questions from other community members.
  7. Oh Oh Oh, also, Does the Hunger affect vegitation? If so does that mean it can affect our crafting of potions and other medicial items? If we can make medicinal things that is.
  8. ShadowTail, Dark Horselords tend to slip into roleplay without knowing it for the first few minutes then continue to do so even when we are aware. Sure, we sometimes have serious, down to earth conversations but we love every part of our community and you can even rely on some terrific sessions of roleplay. We are a community that have people ranged from 10 all the way to 50. Lots of character, joking, advice, fun and even some terrific raids. We originate from Shadowbane and have survived through many a game and are active still. Swing me any questions you have on Law, philosphy etc etc and I'll do my best to answer you in a timely manner. Stop by and register at our website http://darkhorselords.enjin.com/ if you'd like to join us or swing me those questions on the Crowfall website or Enjin.
  9. Hello, Valoon. The Dark Horselords will be in Alpha to Beta 1. We have a wide range of members from all over the world and are currently active in private server games which include Space Engineers, we are also active in Guild Wars 2, Pathfinder Online, ArcheAge and some members are looking into games that release this year. We are always open to new members no matter what your gaming preferances are and enjoy hearing the views and ideas that you may bring. If you are interested please stop by our website http://darkhorselords.enjin.com/ and fill out a registration form. If you have any questions you'd like to ask please feel free to message me via Enjin or the Crowfall website and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.
  10. At this stage I'd suggest listening to Poweti, seems to know what he is on about. In every Guild there will be Drama of some nature, but it can be easily dealt with in a timely fashion as with school yard fights and such. Sure, children are easily involved with drama but hey, they're learning. I don't personally see this as an issue as it is all about learning. I understand your point of view, if it be a long one, and appreciate reading that as it will help me more as a leader in a guilds council. My guild for example has 3 women on the council and 5 men, this would be due to minority of our community at this time being male but there isn't any issue there as all our voices are heared and we listen to our community. Also, leadership in anything whether it be real life or gaming can fail at times and that is why it is called a community. Though there are leaders who make the main choices in the end it comes down to what the community wants. Each person has an opinion that is valued and each person has a role that they like to do. If this were not so then it wouldn't be a community, it would be a Tyranny.
  11. Aussie release? We go closely with the American releases. Hopefully it will be on steam but if it does we have to hope the integration goes well. I'm sure they'll have some means that'll make it safe to buy other than on Kickstarter (as they have said that is only for those who decide to back it early), there are going to be release copies for $50 USD from what they have previously announced. It is a while before it comes out and hopefully by that time they have EU, AU and NA Servers and full details of where to buy it and how you can buy it etc. Also don't forget about the PayPal options becoming available next week sometime.
  12. It doesn't really answer my questions. I mean, it has interesting points but It still doesn't actually answer my questions. I was also wondering if it would affect the way you look, like change your hair or features to look more crystalline like the creatures or what? Would it mean you'd end up needing to go back to the eternal kingdoms and heal up? Would you need to cull your mount in order to get an unaffected one? Is there by any chance the possibility of the player character infecting others?
  13. About the "Hunger" does it affect the players characters or has it got the potential to? For instense if we go into worlds closer to the centre of it would be or could we potentially be affected or infected by it? If you include Mounts, could they be infected or affected in some way by it? I understand that the idea is players characters are eternal but that doesn't mean they couldn't be affected or infected.
  14. I agree with the above post, I get that personal questions are great and all so we as the community get to know you but being able to ask questions in general in one place seems easier. But, When you go into creating a game, do you invision it or use art to help you design the idea? And as it is difficult to find one area to ask questions about Crowfall in general I will post my question here, as I was told to post it on the forums by the Dev's, and honestly finding a thread to post this in without it being a suggestion is difficult.
