  1. I heartily approve of the inspiration behind the power names! Duellist looks to be a lot of fun to play, with plenty of scope for hit and runs (and being able to tunnel under walls adds a very interesting strategic layer).
  2. I love the changes you guys are implementing here, feels far better than the slash / pierce / blunt mitigation that it used to be. I do question why we need the same armour bonus though, surely that detracts from being able to mix and match... Surely you want players to get creative in how they armour themselves up, and this stifles that. If a character wants to go all out defence then they will take plate regardless of the bonus, but you are stopping those who want to hybridise from doing so. This was one aspect of Skyrim which I always hated (only other place I can think of which h
  3. I was in Stormwind on Death myself. Lots of familiar names and guilds popping up on Crowfall which makes me very happy.
  4. Lol, yeah that moment was hilarious. I'd previously run across that wall in another game and had it collapsing around my ears jumping from fragment to fragment. I survived that one
  5. Some Knight / Confessor action... note this was my first time as the confessor! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcbbhAyVyKU
  6. 2 matches with the Ranger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEgmFLCK77E
  7. Thanks for the heads up, waiting with bated breath to stream
  8. Great video! Thanks Was good to see a Knight being played properly
  9. Battle crafting is precisely the role I see myself fulfilling in the game, so I very much hope it will be viable. We'll need to be tough enough to hold out in the wilds while gathering resources, and are more likely to have more support-minded skills like repairing and siege engine control. I think all characters will be more than capable in combat, just because you are a crafter doesn't mean you will suddenly forget how to swing a sword. Sure, you won't have the edge that dedicated combat characters do, but you should be more than capable of holding your own in a fight (especially as you
  10. No Hunger Dome is quite a lot smoother. Also I must confess to having a couple of videos rendering in the background, though I had them set to very low priority so shouldn't have been a system hog. I know the frame rate in the top stats was quite low, but it didn't feel like that was the problem (I used to play Skyrim on a laptop. Ugh), this felt more like server lag which is understandable considering there must be quite a few more calls being made (ie wall hits / wall damage / rubble, etc). With optimization I'm confident things will be much more smooth. Most concerning was actually
  11. It was a lot of fun, can't wait to get stuck in again myself
  12. I can't get Shadowplay to work with Crowfall either, or that'd be my preference. I currently use OBS to both stream and record Crowfall (2 open instances, one for high quality recording, one for poorer quality streaming to minimise buffering).
  13. Some gameplay from my experiences on Siege Perilous last night. Was having recording issues so didn't manage to get it all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_Acya_z2x8
  14. I actually rather liked the Siege Engines in Guild Wars 2, where you manned them and got new powers as you are doing here. I hope there are some siege engines which are anti-player or hybrid (likewise for defensive machines). It does feel a little strange to not see your character operating the machine though...
