  1. Yes in the link that I put up there it goes to a topic very similar to mine where they do like the concept of a bard type class. I just couldnt find anything on it before I posted my idea here haha
  2. So as I just got message with a link to another thread relating to this exact same class. https://community.crowfall.com/index.php?/topic/15738-entertainer-bard-social-archtype/#entry324456 Guess we can take it to this one! Glad i'm not alone in wanting to see a Bard!
  3. lol Maybe not earplugs but design the system so if you turn your speakers down all the way it interrupts the bard!
  4. So I finally got my invite on Saturday (Yay!) and after playing for a good few hours and on most of the classes I can really see the potential of the game even in this very early stage! I ended up really liking the Druid and how she plays but it got me thinking, theres only 2 support classes. At least for right now, no idea if there are plans for more. How accepted would the idea of a bard class be in this game? Weapons could either just be some form of instrument or maybe that plus a sword or dagger. How he would work is songs for buffs and maybe very minor healing and then dirges for debuffs and maybe some damage. Or just make them debuffs and then he needs to use the dagger for raw damage to enemys. Whats the communities ideas on something like this?
  5. Oh good I sure hope so! Would hate to get my land taken from me due to some shady guilds out there. Thanks for the info!
  6. My question is, and sorry if its been asked/answered, if I drop my EK parcel down with the guild I join and start to get along with, what happens if they kick me out? Or what if I leave? Will I get my land back? Does the guild keep it forever? I can see a lot of guilds mass inviting people so they can get the lands and then kicking them all out once it gets big enough.
  7. Anybody else pick up ARK: Survival Evolved from steam early access? You can customize your dude to be short and stocky, so a Dwarf pretty much. Best race to survive a dino infested world if you ask me.
  8. The only app i'm interested in them making is an account authenticator and thats solely for security reasons.
  9. I see what you did there. But that point aside, if they are going foward with putting them in the game, wouldnt you at least want to limit them by campaign? They could be dumb to set it as an option to turn on or off as people that turned it off would basically be saying that they willingly want to play with a handicap.
  10. Well thats kind of my thinking on the matter. I see a lot of people posting either for it or against it yet the devs have said that each campaign can have its own set of rules so why not this too?
  11. Love the idea to have players hire on guards to protect the towns they build
  12. I put this in another topic but I fell like it would fit as its own topic as well as a suggestion of mine. My thinking is that, on a FFA campaign telegraphs are disabled for everybody, makes it a bit more hardcore but also those campaigns are much more rewarding. And lessen the rewards/hardcore respectfully based on the campaign, maybe the GVG maps will be your personal telegraph only. Then maybe they could make a easier tutorial type campaign that shows everybodys telegraphs to get new players trained on how their skills look and work. Could maybe even limit the tutorial campaign so accounts can only go in them a few times a week or a month or something to even further limit people farming them just for quick easy resources. Just an idea that came up when I watched the video and saw that they are in deed, at least at this point in time, going with a telegraph system. I'm personally on the fence with it, I would like to see my own at least in the beginning of the game until I get the feel of how my skills work and the range, Yet I dont think giving me visibility of everything thats going on at all times is a good idea Wildstar did that and it got pretty annoying very quickly. What do you guys think?
  13. Would it be possible to add an option on that poll to maybe adjust the telegraphs based on the campaign? My thinking is that, on a FFA campaign telegraphs are disabled for everybody, makes it a bit more hardcore but also those campaigns are much more rewarding. 14. I like what you're trying to get at but I dont think limiting account playtime is the way to go about it. What would happen if the baby starts fussing and you need to afk while still in game for an hour or two calming baby, or the dog, or just anything of that nature. I personally would want my server time wasted because RL issues wouldnt allow me the time to log off properly. Thought I was thinking of maybe having a server that is only open on weekends. Sure it wouldnt fit for everybody but a lot of us do work a 9-5 with long commutes but with free weekends. I do like that idea, just speeding up the whole process but with much less end game payout. Devs would have to watch it closely thought I think to make sure people cant walk out with more resources than they could on a 24hr server. All that being said, if this never becomes a think it still will not stop me from logging in for an hour or two weekdays just to enjoy some game time, i'm sure there will be plenty of guild out there that will have plans and jobs for casual players.
