I assume setting up a well built kingdom that has everything at disposal would be challenging and not as easy. Also correct me if Im wrong, I believe there is a limited number of "buildings/stands" you can have in your EK and each have a different use, so I think we would have different EKs that are going to be dedicated to a certain thing.

Also maintaining a EK would most likely require you to visit it daily and do what ever it is that you're required to do for it and that needs a very dedicated player to do all that.

Now these are all theories based on what Ive read on and what comes to mind, If anyone has any more knowledge on this please don't hesitate to current me.

Point is..... I made a thread that ended up on top of the page. My work here is done!

But no, all jokes aside, we all wanna see this game succeed cause we are all sick of all the generic MMORPGs, sow e all put these opinions here so that the debs read them and may or may not tale something out of it and make a game that would suit all of us here.

Ah, but that "macho" argument could go both ways. Who uncomfortable enough in their masculinity to the degree you seem to imply would prefer to represent themselves to other people online as a non-macho avatar? You read too much into it by tying terms like "macho" to these individuals, I think.

Why is it weird? Is sexuality such a weird concept to you that you must question people's preference for it? Do you question ancient Greek statues or paintings of half naked ancient gods and call them weird for the artists preference? Perhaps, but it is what it is. A preference is just that, a preference. It is neither weird, nor good, nor evil, nor any other moral definition. You prefer what you prefer.

Im all for pushing the boundaries, but looking at this game it doesn't seem like a suitable game for VR "Oculus" or any other form of VR device.
I feel like they could spend the Money on something more valuable or hiring more people to push out more content faster.
    Its just my personal opinion.

ACE addons maybe, hi-def packs, realism packs, aesthetic stuff only.
Otherwise the ideal game doesn't need any addons.

    Issue 1

If the majority of your winnings from a campaign remain in your EK are they really worth anything to you while you are playing the main game?

There's a lot we haven't been told yet about how campaign rewards affect character power. A lot of us are speculating that you'll be able to construct infrastructure in your EK which will enable sidegrades to your training and tech trees during campaigns- changes with both advantages and disadvantages which don't make you more powerful but enable different tactical options. We'll have to wait and see what the devs actually have in mind before we can dig into this feature for real though.

    Issue 2

If you already have a bank in your EK with a plethora of campaign ready bags do you have anything to gain from the current campaign?

See 1 above; we just don't know enough yet to answer this question, but it's safe to assume that the devs are aware that we want *something* to be interestingly different between campaign winners and losers.

    Issue 3

Will players that are frequently successful in campaigns become bored because they no longer have anything to gain from winning campaigns?

Again, we don't know that there will be "nothing to gain". However, even if there IS nothing to gain, that doesn't mean that playing is boring. People keep playing basketball even though the record is wiped at the end of each season. Even if there were no lasting benefit at all to winning, the reason we play games is to have fun. If you have fun playing a campaign, wouldn't you want to have more fun by playing another campaign? And if you're not having fun, shouldn't you be doing something else anyway?

    Wow!

    What a crazy week.

We just crossed two huge thresholds: our first stretch goal, $1 million in pledges (which will will use to hire an FX artist, and to add female centaurs to the game!) and of equal importance -- maybe even more so -- we've rallied over 10,000 backers to our banner... in a little over one week!

    That's unbelievable. Thank you.

    So, what's next? Great question!

It's time for some bonus rewards!

First up, we've decided to start adding BACKER stretch rewards!

Here's the first one: at 12,000 kickstarter backers, we're going to give EVERY BACKER a unique All-Father statue to display proudly in their Eternal Kingdom! This will let visitors know that you were here, and supported Crowfall, from the beginning.

Second, as you know our next stretch goal is MOUNTS & CARAVANS. I know what you're thinking: that's cool for the game, sure, but how does it benefit ME?!

Well, here is your answer: as soon as we hit that next stretch goal, we're going to add -- for no additional cost to our new or existing backers -- MOUNT FIGURINE rewards to the following tiers:

At the Backer level, you get a rare magical QUARTERHORSE summoning figurine!

At the Bronze patron level, you ALSO get a rare magical WARHORSE summoning figurine!

At the Silver patron level, you ALSO get a rare magical NIGHTMARE summoning figurine!

These figurines are inventory items which allow you to conjure Spirit mounts from the Eternal Kingdoms -- and turn them back into figurines, when not in use.

Remember, each higher pledge level inherits the previous rewards -- so a Silver backer (and every level above Silver) will get a Quarterhorse, a Warhorse AND a Nightmare figurine!

This is just the beginning, folks! We have a lot more surprises coming for you between now and March 26th.

From all of us here at ArtCraft Entertainment:

Thank you for supporting us, thank you for letting us make this game for you -- and please help us spread the word!

Remember, every new person you introduce to Crowfall gets us closer to both our 12k backer goal and our Mounts and Caravans stretch goal.

Think of it this way, as a person in real life, you don't have levels, you are what you are and you can jump in and try everything.

    So here is what happens:

In reality you decide to go horse riding with friends, James and Sarah.
Sarah is a Pro Horse ride
James has been practicing it as a Hobby
And you lets call you "Oberyn", have never Ridden a horse.

You all plan to go ride horses, Obviously you all each get a horse, the level in which sarah and james can ride horses are far beyond yours but that doesn't mean you can't jump on the horse and start riding around slowly. see where Im going with this.

The point of getting rid of levels is that so all players can jump on "Horses" right of the bat, but some maybe be better than others in horse riding skill. so its up to you where you'd like to focus you skill "tree" on.

You should be able to try 100% of the activities at the very start of the game but would you be able to fully experience those activities without putting effort into Maxing out the skills required? the answer is no.

I hope I got my point across without any confusion.

I don't see the issue, here. Its meant to be a stylised fantasy game. It would be really unrealistic for the Dwarf Forgemaster or the Champion to have arms the size of a tree trunk, I mean how does he get to swing his 10 ton hammer so fast. I'm being very sarcastic here, just so you know.

If you're going to notice high heel on the female character please also notice the topless warrior with 0% body fat and arms the size of a tree trunk holding a 10ton hammer.

Just so you know, Ill be very disappointed if they make any changes. Its meant to be stylised and unrealistic. THATS THE POINT!

I think it's been stated that we'll be getting our rewards on NA accounts, can't remember where though.

At the moment though there is not much info about how the EU servers will work. Personally I'm hoping for global servers with different worlds being connected to different areas. That way everyone can play with everyone and we can all have fun and hug murder each other.
