I am assume you are trying to discredit me based off of how many posts I have.

No I'm saying this because you're intentionally ignoring the fact that there are pretty dedicated testers who do indeed test regularly. Some tend to keep track of a handful of bugs to see if they've been fixed with each patch on test.
I'm saying you'd know this if you went to those forums.
Email is great for the showstopper exploits, which has happened a few times in the past. ACE doesn't like those bugs to be advertised on the boards.

I am not so sure about that. We have found a decent amount of bugs/things not working on multiple classes. After reporting them, it seemed like the devs were unaware. I honestly wonder how much testing is been done these days. Most seem to just be playing to win and the meta.

    They're aware of some.
A lot of bugs get pushed aside for bigger more pressing issues, even if they are reported multiple times.

If you're actually concerned with how much testing is being done, I'd suggest looking at the bug reports and feedback forum.
But I think I know how much of that you've done.

Honestly with the news cycle consisting of no real news I suspect that either they are out of money or plan to start over again with a completely different version after raising more money ...

    Crowfall Classic?
    Crowfall: Battle Royale?
    Crowfall - Patreon Exclusive Edition?

I hope they are just building up to another massive reveal.
I suspect that the only reveal they could do at this point is release or alpha/beta.

The idea here being to allow for potential gankers to hear harvesters & combat from further away than most, much like Elven Eyes allows you to see people from further away.

    Didn't see this edit.
One of the great things about old Big World, was you could hear people from incredibly far away, and the sounds from harvesting were very distinct.
Half the fun was trying to pinpoint where you heard it from.

Stuff like that would be neat, thinking about it.

You have really cool ideas, but some stuff here would not be very lore wise, for instance:

Knights have a noble blood meaning in their ´´backgrounds``, you could not get it from a Minotaur, since all of them are former slaves from the High-Elfs, it would be really awkward to see a Mino Knight, but then again, it is really weird to thing about a Stoneborn Kight as well, since they carry literally no blood, nor houses or families.

Also, I think the reason for the Fae or centaur to not be rangers... just Balance, they would be REALLY broken otherwise. Guineceans are literally Duelists in their nature, it would be weird for a human to be a duelist. It makes more sense than a Knighted Dwarf, anyway.

I am not gonna comment on the Myrmdon Guineceans.

The Elken also could never be druids, since Elken are transformed humans and those also cant be druids. At least that was what I got from the Lore.

About the Knighs noble blood again, Wood Elfs? Yeah...

Half Giants with all that muscle using little knives and bows?

Well, that was my thoughts on your list, what do you think?

Mino knight is one I'm not really sure on. I like the idea on paper, and it's really one of the only classes that might fit. Ignoring any lore of course.

Centaur rangers are a bit of a hot topic among some. They're a mythology staple, and I don't see why they shouldn't be included. It wouldn't be much different to wood elves with their trailmaster and blink. Fae rangers is more capitalising on their ability, a slippery flyer, to me, is a fitting choice for a ranger.

As for Human and Half-Elf duelists, I think half elves need love, and duelist should be opened up a bit more.
My thought behind it is perhaps some less than savoury humans or half elves were able to procure duelist arms, gunpowder, etc and recreate it through extensive study. Eventually it would spread from there. Something like that.

Myrm Rats could totally happen. Deep down you know you want it.

I think we already discussed elken druids earlier, or in another thread. I like the concept, but it is indeed not lore friendly currently.

I disagree. When I think wood elves, I'm sure they'd have some sort of guardians or protectors for ground warfare, and close quarters.
Also they don't have plate wearers currently. So knight is a good pick.

I don't think you should discount half giant rangers. They're basically nomadic hunters and brawlers. Why they wouldn't learn how to use a bow is odd.
Also minotaurs can be rangers, and they've got big sausage fingers.
Besides, using a bow requires muscle. Less dex, more str. Video games have been lying to you.

With that all said, I'd honestly like to see all classes open to all races.
    Balance be damned.

  6. I think they once said you'll be able to craft an equivalent at some point. Mostly because Todd didn't want to make players choose between lore and power.
So you might be able to get a Malekai badge with a different stat.

With that in mind, you won't get a gold or silver badge like this. Maybe bronze or something.

    It raises the question, dammit.

I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.

yes but you cant try everything right? there is no point to level up intellect for knight if you just wanna try intellect related craft. cos you knight dont need intellect and you better choose knight stats related crafting skill rather then just choose inapropriate stats. no?

I mean. You can. There isn't anything stopping you.

The stat you need is whatever you want it to be. As in my screenshot, for a champion, INT increases crit damage and DEX increases crit chance.

Since i was planning an Alpha Warrior, dex and crit chance weren't as important, as i can build up guaranteed crits through Dominance.

Likewise, strength was a more secondary stat due to the good amount of Attack Power increases through talents. At least that was my thinking.

Int for me was a good pick, because it helped my craft, and benefit the class i wanted to play.

Pre-alpha is a good time to try out things like this.

You're too hung up and standards and "meta"

So while it started as a curse, it eventually became a blessing of a sort. The Elken live in nature and became children of Gaea. So why can't they be Druids from a lore standpoint?

As much as I'd love to see it, the last part of elken lore says there is still a curse over gaea's woods. So it's still probably just a lot of unsuspecting hunters and whatnot being transformed, rather than druids and such.

Actually lore-wise, you'd more likely have rat druids, i think.

that make sence but i didnt quite get what you mean about secondary. u meat they are those stats you get through the game and they also have effects? but i thought it not possible for warrior to have boost in intellect sort of thing, no?

Primary attributes, like strength, int, dex, etc.
Secondary stats like critical hit, attack power, support power etc.

Primary attributes will give you small bonuses to secondary stats.
But you will get more of a secondary stat from gear itself if it's well crafted.

When you gain a level, you'll get points to spend on attributes, and any class can spend them in any attribute.

For example, the time I was dumping INT on my champion, because I wanted to try something and also because it helped with my crafting.

only stats? i mean can some warrior stats meet crafters stats? or they r always diffrent??

    For sure.
There's a lot of overlap. Things like strength might affect your damage if you're a knight or champion, but also woodworking overall.

Depending on your class and chosen crafting profession, you could use one character for both.
The only thing you'll really want to keep in mind are secondary stats, which you can get an extra boost of from gear. So things like Crit damage, or extra Experimentation or Assembly.

This was a terrible decision after a wipe and short campaign, it negates almost all progress made for small to medium guilds

Even with a mere 6 players online at once tops, the mighty Flames of Exile never had this issue.

Our fearless harvesters and master crafters were always ready to hammer away at rocks, armour, and faces.

    And they delivered, always.

  13. New siege schedule is great.
Double siege is on Saturday is a bit weird, but it could be cool. Maybe in campaigns with more than 3 keeps it'd work better, by staggering vulnerability. Hell, even with just 4, having two open at a time, would work.
There's more at stake, now that nightly sieges aren't a thing. So when I can finally make it to siege on a weekend, I know I won't be standing around waiting for nothing to happen, like in previous campaigns.

This skill removes the health portion of holy warrior for more damage. Seems reasonable until you realize this would give you 68%/40% BEFORE armor weapons and discs (not to mention devotion will give you 15% as well). You lose a huge portion of your survivability for literally nothing. A node that should be one of the trees most important nodes is actually a detriment to the class.

I wonder how busted it would be to have Vindicator's whole shtick be removing these caps when you activate holy warrior.
So these stats that over-cap normally, instead give you incredible stats for a short time.

Of course, the cooldown and charge time would need looking at, and maybe some number tweaking, but it could be real neat.
Kind of like how Alpha Warrior Champ gets guaranteed crits.

    May be too gimmicky though.
