    I like the way the OP started but can I just say FAQ's good look at CF's, USP and realise that what u want is not what they are offering and is not likely to change you harping on about something which they are actively dissuading people from doing "the Mass Farming of Mobs", which in fact we will do some kinda of mass farming whether it be People nodes tress or herbs or meat they are actively saying we want you to farm to make a completely player driven economy.
     
    But they 100% do not want it to be u alone in a hidden corner farming, Even though most people will find a nice spot to farm safely. This is a PvP game for PvP people, and thus those who can not get out of the PvE farm model of gaming will get bashed into oblivion "in game" because I will camp u and smile while u cry I got ganked while PvE farming GG.

    Because it removes a level of player interaction, which is the big problem with this suggestion of monsters droping equippable loot.

    Tell that to the person that wrote FAQ
    Is it not obvious enough that FAQ clearly states that it will be players that will harvest those resources on the enviorenment? Or are you suggesting that they meant NPCS with "can be harvested"
     
     
      That would be very beautiful, but since game is voxel based there might be a way to hide those tracks aswell

    Pretty sure monsters won't be dropping currency nor will you be bringing alternate crafters into the same campaign (other than those with multiple accounts). 
    You can have you opinion... not sure what that was all about, I merely suggested you combat the vision for this game in General Discussion. It isn't about forcing a player driven economy, it is about forcing player engagement on all levels. You want to just farm the easy mode materials? Awesome, enjoy... you should still be successful if you have any skill.
     
    Perhaps, in the end here, you should just farm other players. You can always get your equipment drops that way!

    As Heinlein said "An armed society is a polite society."  Back when everyone had a gun, or further back when everyone carried a sword, people were nice and polite to each other.  poorly made socks talking is a modern occurrence.  Our society now lets little kids say things that would have got my head bashed in or at the least, a mouth full of soap when I was growing up.
     
    Forumbane is all fun and games, but it is not a necessity.  You can have enemies without being toxic. Even enemies can be polite to each other.

    I hope they do think about the mass = knockback distance if im down a whole how hard is it to climb out if im heavy or a Centaur. Thinking about it it would be interesting to see if they add into the fact that a Guy in plate is not going to run as fast as a guy in cloth and so in yes it would be a inconveniences in fights but more to the point it would mean you would have to really think about what ur doing what your fighting,
    Planning a Fight is as interesting as the fight itself in a 1 vs 1 its obviously because its a strait up 1 vs 1 but if you look at it from a prespective of a RTS where you had to think about what type of fighters go where flanking. These kinda of combat issues so it would be cool and show the real teams from the rabbles

    @Maxima its not a failure to see relevance in SB its your clear overbearing-ness and dependence on SB, CF will not be the same as SB this is hopefully gonna be a good game, and I have no problem bringing up relevant stuff from ur SB history how can I begrudge u.  At the same time speaking about class specifics has literally little to no baring on how CF will play or how it will be affected by flying, yes its a experience u have gained and there fore formulated an opinion on something but until testing is done in CF you cant really know what ART wants from flying if they want it at all.

    I've backed it, and I'll be playing in the Jan Alpha.
     
    Respectfully, all you guys going 'LOL NAH MATE, IT'S F2P SO IT'S P2W LOL CYA' is pretty ignorant given you know absolutely nothing about how the game works. How anyone can pass judgement on something they know approximately nothing about, is beyond me.
     
    Having said that, I've yet to play it too - but the difference is that I'm actually going to try it before I pick a side and start preaching
     
    5v5 sieges are fine, it means you can't have your territory zerged off you, and so makes it about skill, not numbers.

    Animal farming definitely next. A desire to win the game is all well and good but when someone burns your farm and kills your cow in a pvp game it's go time.

Our Next Stretch Goal after BaneCircle – Speaking of localization, our stretch goal following the current BaneCircle stretch goal will be for localizing our website, game and expanding our community presence into Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Crowfall will be an international brand, as PvPers have strong communities worldwide, and Asia is no exception! This stretch goal will include game localization, web localization, beta server(s) for Asian territories and a community representative for these key territories. 
    6. Future Stretch Goals – Hitting $2 million in total pledges yesterday was pretty darned awesome. This adds “the Shadow” worlds to our universe, completing the spectrum of PvP rulesets that we want to build. Todd and the team have a huge stack of potential stretch goals that we’d love to fund (it’s an MMO, and the list of wants is endless), but going forward these will consist of:
    a. Over-delivery of Launch items – Solidifying (or bringing forward) features and content that are already planned as part of the core game experience. Some of this is includes things that are incredibly helpful but not sexy, like tools and/or personnel that would significantly accelerate other areas of development. 
    b. Post-Launch Content/Systems – These would be things we are not promising for our initial launch, but we would love to add to the game sometime after our launch. 
    c. Visibility & Outreach – Things that help grow the Crowfall community, but weren’t included in the original plan (like attending game conferences and player meetups, etc.)  Remember, Crowfall is a game built on the actions of players, so a stronger community means more campaigns, more guilds, more competition and more fun. (It also means more backing, which never hurts!)

    The confederate flag is not illegal......yet.
    However, it is against the law to display a swastika in Germany.  And since Germany is one of the countries that CF will service.......draw your own conclusion.

    But now the question is are USA and EU players willing to pony up 150K more to keep the Asians on their own server?
     
    I remember all the zerging and nutcupping they did in ShadowBane and I'm not anxious to have all that repeated.

    it feels like people are hindered in there opinion on whether flying should be or not by previous experience the only way we will know is once they apply it to a alpha's/beta's. from a wow perspective it ended PvP Aion made PvP more interesting never played SB so cant comment but i feel like throwing about how you should have been better/worse in ur SB role doesnt  much effect the conversation trying to be created here. Look at the concepts in CF see whats aspects could be negative/positive in a debate about flying. We are all hoping for something slightly different of what we have played b4 and are just stupidly excited for a Roaring PvP smash.
     
     
    Thenebrosity is 100% right on this and thats what will make this game exciting. Flying might make it just a that little bit more exciting, IMO im undecided I really would like to test it then make a fully informed decision based on the know effect it would take in CF

    well I know in SWG we set up areans and fought but we did this all ourselves set up fights. I even do it now in ark
