  1. Thanks! I hopped into my EK last night and was messing around. Could not figure out how to climb up the walls I had built, lol. Will have to play around with it more... suspect I will need to craft ladders or something.
  2. I only hopped in once or twice since I kickstarted and have not really followed development. Is the premise of the game still based on various war zones you can jump into and can only leave when it ends? Depending on the level of the zone you can only bring certain items in and take only certain items out when your faction wins? What core principles have changed since the Kickstarter?
  3. I just installed the game (it's been a long time) and I'm messing around on the professions screen. I notice it says "VIP Active" in the top right of the screen. I have 72 VIP tokens... are they getting used automatically, or does everyone get VIP for Alpha? I'd prefer to save my VIP tokens for launch. Thanks.
  4. For those with the ability to reserve guild names -- has the function gone live? If so, I cannot find it.
  5. Oh, just realized I can gift my KS Amber package... something else to consider.
  6. So, I have my KS pack attached to my account, and there's the option to consume it. It says not to consume it if I plan on upgrading. I don't plan on upgrading. Can I leave it as-is, or is there some advantage to consuming it?
  7. The coins being loot-able is the important point. Nothing is preventing people from bartering who prefer that route.
  8. All guilds with "Crow" in the name. RP'ers, Nazis and furries.
  9. People give away digital items on things like Twitch Streams, in-forum give-aways, etc to promote the game. Giving away a skin or a month of VIP membership pre-launch is an excellent means of free advertisement. Makes sense, has worked elsewhere.
  10. ACE gave us codes to link with our online profiles. There was an opportunity to scam there. I'm not particularly concerned with scamming. We're all (mostly) adults, and can responsibly handle our own transactions. I'd love to give some friends my mount skins, as I don't really care about them, or raffle them off for our next charity event. As ACE has already said: BUYER BEWARE! ArtCraft is not responsible for what happens with transactions outside the game environment, and we aren't going to "make things right" if you get ripped off, so do you own research, and accept the risks involved if you engage in these kinds of transactions.
  11. I bet my 1099-B is bigger than yours. Oh wait, you're in Canada, not sure how capital gains are recorded there. Anyhow, I have a bunch of items on my account I don't need, and my brother has a puny entry-level pledge. I'd like to send him some of the items. Trading them in for credit to ACE does me no good, since I don't need anything else. Also, since I paid for it already, why shouldn't I be able to trade it to my brother?
  12. We know that trading in-game items will be A-OK (see Dev post below). We also know that we will have the ability to "trade back" items in our pledge for store credit (don't have Dev post, but read it in an official communication I will dig up later, unless you find it first). How about the obvious next step? Can we (sometime soon) trade pledge items with each other prior to launch? Apparently the answer is yes. Update from Dev below: http://community.crowfall.com/index.php?/topic/6533-i-can-help-you-convert-your-sota-pledgesitems-into-crowfall-pledgescredit/?hl=trade+pledge+items
  13. I am all for selling things in the shop. Sell whatever you want, I will buy it if I feel it gives me an advantage. If I can drop $20 on a "skin" that makes me harder to see, or $50 for tax-free parcels to store my relics, then all the better. Winning for me is doing with a credit card what other poor bastards have to do by actually spending hours drooling in front of a monitor. Get a job.
  14. well that's concerning. They should let pigs breed as an insurance mechanism vs loss. I'll breed them good
  15. How many pack pigs can a person effectively use? Now that these are finally available in the store i am considering buying 9 more.
  16. I like this idea as well. I'm a big fan of EK's and making a campaign world that is friendlier to the more pve oriented adventurer is to my liking. Slow and steady, as they say.
