  1. I was thinking of posting every thread in the Great Hall that started discussion on General policy, but considering there's so many examples I'm not going to make a post full of links. There are several threads discussing policy, many of which are locked yet still available to be read. I'm just a fan of transparency I guess. I'll stick with Crowfall videos for that.
  2. All I noticed was posters discussing off-site community management, albeit still the same management team here as over there considering Twitch allows you to control your own Twitch feed as it should. If the purpose is to discuss general policy including the policy of off-site community management, why shut down discussion? In my opinion, discussing specific cases leads to an overall discussion. If one person wants to continually rant by banging their head against a wall, sure. Shut em down. But it's just an odd feeling when posts are deleted and discussion is shut down. I guess the transparency is only on the dev side.
  3. Looks like anyone who was looking forward to playing during the summer got some heartache.
  4. Weird seeing the guy from Vikings in that role. The guy from Arrow as Casey Jones in TMNT, etc. Too much recycling.
  5. Because Michael Bay and Tim Burton haven't made their own version of every movie out there yet...
  6. Feel free to report yourself then. Because if you were a mod, you'd have warned yourself. And then banned yourself if you persisted. Report yourself and feel extremely comfortable.
  7. http://community.crowfall.com/index.php?/topic/8289-rules-of-conduct-for-the-crowfall-forums/ Pot calling the kettle black around here. Accusing a derail while breaking the code of conduct.
  8. How am I trolling this thread? It's literally a bunch of people crying for 30 pages about who is the best. The entire thread is full of worthless words about a worthless game. I find it odd that someone can find I detract from the value of this thread simply because I'm the only here not implying that I won shadowbane?
  9. Maybe you don't understand the experience because you weren't there? Don't want to make your analogies for you. If I wanted to argue with myself, I'd just join the same guild everyone else is in.
  10. More than 5 people were in Vietnam. If their thread was 30 pages long, I'd understand. Everyone here is losing their mind about who is on top of digital pile of a dead video game.
  11. "Passionate" was putting it nicely. Everyone here just looks like they're jonesing for a drug they can't get as often as they would like. And not a good one, a really terrible one like crack cocaine. Saying I'd understand if I played Shadowbane is like saying I'd understand if I played UO, Mortal Kombat on Sega Genesis, Duck Hunt, or Spaced Invaders. I'll let Vietnam Veterans tell me what it was like back in '69 and you guys can tell me what it was like in the olden days. Carry on.

Should've just ignored him. He was so triggered before someone used the quote feature.
  13. I think they want to keep people chomping at the bit to play so they get more players for optimization, netcode, and large scale warfare. For now, anyhow.
  14. Pretty sure they said no. And there is no stretch goal for mounted combat, kickstarter or otherwise.
