    @CrowfallCentral I wrote this up before reviewing what Ranik put up and I think we hit the same notes on the defensive side. Swordsman need a complete review. It is not worth taking over either of the other 2 classes. I have tried several different builds and even with the recent changes to Crit with obliterate, it is not worth a dam. Anyone playing a swordsman currently will be severely limiting themselves.
    Sentinel is getting there and I need to see how much the new changes add to the build.
    Secutor is where it's at and I expect most knights to play a secutor with little interest in sentinel and no interest in swordsman. Below are some of my thoughts and suggestions, this is specifically outlining skills that I think NO ONE will ever want to take on purpose. 

     

    Vitality.
    Worthless. A bonus 450hp is just not enough to matter, especially over the alternate of AP and wpn dmg, not even close. This skill wont be used by 90% of knights, especially considering the following on Shield Bash.
    Suggestion to fix this is to also give some mitigation, AP or Stam.
     
    Shield Bash.
    A prior staple of the Secutor knight, now reduced to worthless. To properly use this, you need  the “Shield Master” Disc to make it so that shield attacks proc the shield bash. The damage on it is also not what it used to be, not sure what changed. 
    Suggestion to fix this, give Shield Bash to all knights like before and turn this skill into Shieldmanship from the Shield Master Disc. 
    Suggest changing Shield Master to also give an illusionary shield and remove Shieldmanship.

    Hardiness.
    Also worthless. Health Regen has never been a factor in any way at any time since the creation of Crowfall. Please either remove it altogether or make it worth something.
    The physical resistance is also a non factor. A 1% increase isn’t worth a dam to anyone. 5% maybe but coupled with a worthless Health Regen would still make this hard to take.
    Suggestion, make the Physical resist a “Resist All” and increase to +500

    I've posted this in the Test forums but now that 6.2 is live and most of these issues haven't been addressed I'll go ahead and make this thread for ongoing Knight feedback.
    Swordsman should be changed to “Weaponmaster”, “Man at Arms” or something similar  and the passive ability made to be able to work on any 1h weapon. That way you can have people using Swords, Axes, Maces as they wish rather than just arbitrarily being locked into Swords. This also opens up more build options for DPS Knights rather than being locked into +Slashing Damage Domains / Disciplines. 
     
    Retribution Slash should be changed to Retribution strike and made available for Mace Users Aka the Sentinel. Changed to retribution strike and works with Maces.
     
    Retribution Slash damage reflect needs to be improved greatly. Currently the reflect damage is so low it’s not worth using. The damage should be calculated BEFORE armor damage reduction occurs. The ability shouldn’t punish me for putting on more armor. Changed to grant 50 thorns.
     
    Knight Yells need to scale better with weapon damage. If I am doing damage, at least allow it to scale with my weapon. 
     
    There are 14+ different "Bleed" abilities across 6 classes and 4 disciplines. Either make them work together better or get rid of bleeds in general. I shouldn't feel like 50% of my damage is "overlapping" with 5 other classes and we are ruining each others actual damage output. Fix it or at least acknowledge it rather than repeatedly ignoring the issue.
     
    Most Defensive nodes on the Knights tree are not worth taking under any circumstance.
     
    Health Regen is Useless. Full Stop. Period. End of Story. It’s not useful on Knight and it’s not useful on any other class. At every opportunity, replace Regen with Resist all % or More Health. If you insist on keeping Health Regen, increase Regen numbers by 10x
     
    Vitality- +450 Health and what else? Nothing. Not worth taking compared to other class talents. Increase Health to +750 and/or add some Resist all 2-3%
     
    Hardiness- 15 Health Regen and 1% Resist is completely and utterly useless. Replace with 3% Resist All & +10 Stamina for better Secutor Blocking.
     
    Juggernaut Currently this stacks up to 5 times for 1% reduction per stack for a total of 5%….. This is bad. Replace each stack with 3% damage reduction for a total of 15% reduction.   Up to 2% per stack for 10% Total. A good improvement. 
     
    Resolve At 20% Health, it will heal for 300 health a second for four seconds +Energy and Stamina. This can occur once every 90’s. This is weak on an extreme level. Turn this into an automatic chance at a Barrier on receiving or dealing a critical hit. ANYTHING would be better than it’s current incarnation. 
     
    Domains- Justice should not be the universal Domain for Knight promotions, it is useless for the Swordsman. Battle easily fits into any of the Promotion classes. Instead setup Domains as follows. 
     
     Swordsman- Battle, War, Death
     
     Sentinel- Battle, Justice, Music

     Secutor- Battle, Protection, Nature

    Sugoi was my first Guild in Crowfall and also my first stab at any gaming in over 10 years. I had decided I wanted to re-live my youth and play with people that where here to win.
    There are countless good times I can recall and so many great people that played the game. If you were old Sugoi then you know me and hopefully know me to be a good honest person. It is with a very heavy heart that I read this good bye and felt that for my own sake I’d say my piece about it.
    I wish it didn’t come to this and I hope any remnants of Sugoi find a home like the one we made, I know I have (-W-). You guys where a serious part of my life and I miss hearing your voices daily. What Uya and Cuddles did to those that held the guild together was just immature and wrong. There is a certain dedication it takes to commit to a game and a guild of friends and there is no other way to put it, they abandoned everyone and instead of just pulling the plug about 3 years ago, allowed good people to linger on, struggling and suffering in a game where a conservative group effort is a must. It is IMHO the worst form of RL trolling that could be done. It was damaging to the player, the person and the game.
    Uya and Cuddles, I hope you take this as constructive criticism. If not, then you’ve learned nothing. You showed no respect for the time and effort other people put into your guild. People that I was close to and had to watch as they suffered. You are both amazing gamers but as leaders you basically turned on you own people and watch them slowly decay away.
    To those that stuck around, I will always be a friend to you and would love to game with you anytime… maybe in the future through alliances or shifts in power we may yet! Politics are politics after all. I admired what you tried to do and was your biggest cheerleader in hopes you’d make it happen but none of you, like myself, signed up to run a guild and it was a doomed effort from the start.
    Sugoi, thank you for all that you were. We were awesome!

    Knights are back! and with a Vengeance!
    The changes, on Test, made to AOE dmg and dodge pips really have brought back melee in general, so Kudos to ACE.
    The lunge weapons are an amazing improvement on the knight class and something that really brings them to where they should be BUT, I think it's gone too far.
    I know this is still in development so I just wanted to share my thoughts on it so hopefully it doesn't get launched the way it is now and then taken away completely or nerf'd to uselessness. 
    Knights have always suffered from loosing their Dodge pip. Previously you could at least switch trays to use them, a cool mechanism that allowed for a show of skill and luck but since that was taken away, knights have suffered trying to keep up with the rest of the classes.
    Now with the lunge weapons and with the nerf to dodge pips, knights are suddenly the most mobile thing on the battlefield and really without restraint.
    For those that don't know, lunge is a skill given by a weapon that allows you to lunge forward 20m at an enemy by holding down your lmb. This does make it so you need to relearn how to use your lmb and hit it every time you want a sword swing. Annoying? yes but worth it and a minor amount of training and skill required, cool!
    If it stopped there it would already be pretty powerful and maybe too powerful. But wait, there is more! If the Lunge attack hit your target and damages him (a nice bit of dmg too, nothing crazy just a good LMB) you are refunded that dodge pip! WAHH? So yes, you can then turn it around and use it to attack that guy 20m away, and then on to that one... and so on. But wait! there is more, the attack dazes your target! *you said wahhh? Over shoot the traget? No worries, the lunge actually stops at the target and hits them at the end of the leap.
     
    So we now have a knight that can block when taking damage and then lunge out if they are in serious trouble. 2 dodge pip classes can do it twice without hitting a target and move 40m never mind if you pursuit... you could cover close to 100m in under 5 secs...
    I mean wow, I love it!! I love it too much. It needs to be nerf'd so here are my thoughts on it.
    Stop with the refunding of the pips. It's not needed and honestly just a bit OP... Something that can be regenerated without a cap is just not wise imo. If you're class is a 10m dodge class, make the lunge 10m. If its a 20m dodge class, make it 20m. If you are trying to make dodge pips all be equal, then this should be on there as well. Why Daze? Cool, I mean I'll take it but it's just over kill imo. You could also only allow the use of it if you have a target in front of you. I know there is or was an assassin power like this, that only allowed you to use it if it was on a target. This would make it so that you are actually lunging at someone and not just using it to move around. Things to add:
    Make more lunge weapons. Every secutor and probably Sentinel will use a sword with lunge over a mace or axe. It is just too much of a handicap to use anything else. I can also think of a few other classes that should have it. I mean why is a Great sword not a lunge weapon? Likely it will be but just throwing it out there.  
    Anyways, there are my thoughts. Love the tech, love the added bonus to my little knighty, I hope to see more cool features with other weapons that require some sort of effort on the players part... other than holding down lmb.

    I don't think that this is a system of "we must be entertained right now". There are fundamental flaws that the majority of this community agrees on.
    There are some amazing things in CF, it's why we are all here and why we bother to post at all. My friend put it best when he said "I feel about crowfall how I imagine parents would with their 32 year old child that showed such potential at a young age who is still living at home, cant hold a job and spends all day talking about 5G, chem trails and how covid is a hoax. I'm not mad. Im just disappointed and defeated."

    I was in denial about where this game is and my thoughts on it. I've played, nearly every day you could log into this game since HD and reading this post I can not agree more.
    ACE, whom ever you are taking suggestions from for how this game should go... fire them or stop listening to them. This game was much more fun in the past. Go look at your kick starter video, the one that got us all way back then and do it with the vision you started with.
    Stop making us grind for every little thing we need. More Bon Tippers anyone? 
    Maybe what you are getting wrong is that you feel you need to make sure we grind for everything in order to PvP. PvP first please! Right now you can't expect to pvp competitively without having a guild of people grinding through the Harvesting and Crafting in order to make anything worth a dam.
    I dont know what to tell ya or where to go... go back to the start and stick to your vision then, if you think it's the same vision, look again and read Yumx post. 
    More guilds will follow unfortunately.

    Outpost should collect resources for forts and keep that are near by. So the owner of the fort or keep would get those resources and have to defend their outposts in order to maintain that supply. NPC caravans could bring those resources to the fort/keep which could be attacked and looted.
    There is some content for ya!!
    There are a million ideas like this, which is why I find the current state of the game so frustrating.

My friend put it best when he said "I feel about crowfall how I imagine parents would with their 32 year old child that showed such potential at a young age who is still living at home, cant hold a job and spends all day talking about 5G, chem trails and how covid is a hoax. I'm not mad. Im just disappointed and defeated."

    I was in denial about where this game is and my thoughts on it. I've played, nearly every day you could log into this game since HD and reading this post I can not agree more.
    ACE, whom ever you are taking suggestions from for how this game should go... fire them or stop listening to them. This game was much more fun in the past. Go look at your kick starter video, the one that got us all way back then and do it with the vision you started with.
    Stop making us grind for every little thing we need. More Bon Tippers anyone? 
    Maybe what you are getting wrong is that you feel you need to make sure we grind for everything in order to PvP. PvP first please! Right now you can't expect to pvp competitively without having a guild of people grinding through the Harvesting and Crafting in order to make anything worth a dam.
    I dont know what to tell ya or where to go... go back to the start and stick to your vision then, if you think it's the same vision, look again and read Yumx post. 
    More guilds will follow unfortunately.

    Yea, this is a bit silly to me. If there is no Dregs then I see no reason to play on Live. Especially if there is pending wipe coming for Beta.

    Often times it's hard to see why people do things based on our own perception so I'll assume there is another reason that is unknown to us. I worry however that without an incentive for the core group of players to play on Live, the "NEW PLAYER EXPERIENCE" will be very underwhelming.
