  1. The email says, “the test will last one hour or more.”
  2. http://crowfall.com/en/faq/campaign/ Phase 1 is Spring. The Campaign map is hidden by fog of war. You are dropped (typically naked) into an unknown, deadly environment. This world is filled with the ruins of ancient castles, abandoned mines and haunted villages – which you have to explore to scavenge for weapons, tools and the resources to start building fortifications. I didn't see anywhere where you'd be co-located with friends/guildies.
  3. https://www.crowfall.com/en/faq/eternal-kingdoms/ 14. CAN I OWN MULTIPLE STRONGHOLD PARCELS? Yes. You can even own multiple parcels on multiple kingdoms. (Thematically, this would be like a medieval lord or lady residing in one kingdom but having ancestral rights/holdings in another.) You might, for instance, want to have a castle on one kingdom (where you produce your goods) and a handful of smaller parcels on other kingdoms located in or around central market areas (where you sell your goods). The system is incredibly flexible to allow players to support new and existing social structures and to build a thriving, player-driven economy.
  4. @Lastgirl~, not even close. Beta's supposed to start at the end of the year and pessimist speculate the release will be pushed to 2017.
  5. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle Pre-alpha refers to all activities performed during the software project before testing. These activities can include requirements analysis, software design, software development, and unit testing. In typical open source development, there are several types of pre-alpha versions. Milestone versions include specific sets of functions and are released as soon as the functionality is complete. The functionality currently being tested is the combat system. The next set of functions will be the siege mechanics in March.
  6. It just started Pre-Alpha in September. We still have Alpha and Beta to get through before launch.

  8. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/crow crow - To shout in exultation or defiance; to brag. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/crow fall - A loss of greatness or status. One second you're bragging to your buddies, the next second you turn out to be a loser.
  9. https://www.crowfall.com/en/faq/eternal-kingdoms/ Buildings serve many purposes. They can… Act as personal housing and social hubs. Act as crafting stations for crafting new goods. Provide marketplaces (i.e. house player-run NPC vendors to sell crafted and collected goods). Hold NPC thralls. Hold artifacts and relics. …and other services, as we think of them. As long as it won’t impact the balance of the campaign worlds, we are open to ideas! https://www.crowfall.com/en/faq/thralls/ The limits aren’t on a character or account basis. Instead, each system will enforce its own limit(s). For example, items can only have one bind-spirit. Buildings have a preset number of Thrall Slots (represented in game as a summoning circle) and each of them can only contain a single Thrall. Generally, for buildings that allow Thralls, you can increase the level of the building to activate more Thrall slots of that type. You'll be able to populate your kingdom with NPCs (Thralls), but I can't find anywhere that it says you can earn rewards or charge rent.
  10. lol...this is exact same reason i built my rig with a 2500k...to play SWtOR. That and an AMD Radeon HD 6970 GPU.
  11. The Store menu bar is different from all the rest...just FYI.
  12. @jtoddcoleman how long before that video was shot to when it was posted?
  13. The case isn't built to fit a 240mm radiator and considering this system is relegated to backup status, the most I'd care to do is upgrade the fan and not the case. Who knows though...maybe a new case and fan are in order. I've been thinking about getting http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-h100i-gtx-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler for my new system though.
  14. I overclocked it to 4.5Ghz for the test on Monday, 18 January, at 9 AM and 15 minutes into testing my computer shutdown. I know it's because the stock fan isn't cooling it enough. Do you have a recommendation? What do you think about: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-h75-liquid-cpu-cooler BTW...I already bought all the components for a new system: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CN9m6h
