Corrupted Essence is always looking for so mature players, we understand that real life takes priority, but we love to play.

We need all classes and are trying to get as big of a guild as possible.

Myself and the guild leader are Canadian, but we welcome all.

    Join us friend,

Reply to this message, if you wish to join us and I will get the Guild leader to invite you.

Once a guild invite is sent, it needs to be accepted on crowfall.com - Community tab/guild tab.

    Thank You

  2. 1: I heard about it through friends from Revival. 2: FAQs are nice. 3: A profanity filter toggle. I don't mind swearing, but I do get irked by censorship. Also, had some trouble getting avatar pics to fit here.
  3. See, if I was just a PvPer, then I would agree with that mindset, but i'm not. Lore is quite a large slice of the entertainment value for my RP half. I've even fought against friends because they went and sided with something my character wouldn't. Good times <3 I'll likely end up in God's Reach at some point whether I like it or not. Whether it be for an RP reason or to simply help someone else. Thus, I'd like to have a feeling of where I should stand in a conflict. So far, Balance seems next to pointless as a faction, so I likely won't consider joining them.
  4. I love PvP and RP myself. Even though God's Reach itself has little interest to me, I'd still like for the lore to make sense and be decent if not good. When I do eventually pass through God's Reach, I would like to have a reason to care about why i'm even fighting.
  5. I know one of the devs for this game. Neat.
  6. Might be neat if your rewards were based on multiple factors like that. How well did you do? How well did your faction do? How well did your god do? How well did your guild do? Having all those factors playing against each other by say, trying to game the system by spreading your guild across factions can end up leading to poor rewards despite victory, as the hit to your guild losses in the other factions, or even the hit to your own personal record if you're the guildie sent to side with the intended losers.
  7. ;D I understand the need for keeping healing sparse in a PvP focused MMO. In PvE, healers are great because the PCs aren't -supposed- to lose, just be challenged. In PvP, healers aren't so great for the playability of the game since somebody -has- to lose and a good set of healers on both sides of a conflict can completely stop that from happening, resulting in a stalemate in many cases, which isn't all that great an outcome in PvP. At the same time, healers still have their place in PvP. Many PvP focused games across genres have at least one healer type to play as, like the me
  8. Been here just a few days myself and I'm having to light fires across the forums to get people talking. People around here seem a little sleepy. Maybe splashing some chilly water on them will get them to talk more? >:3
  9. Hmmm... Seems like a good opportunity for guilds to manipulate things if they send players onto the various different factions. Dirty, filthy tactics hehe.
  10. Curious, but does anyone got info on how guilds and gods work together? As in, do members of the same guild need to worship the same god? If not, then what happens when guild members go to worlds where players are divided up by gods? Would guildies end up fighting one another? (That may actually be hilarious tbh) Would Guild, Factions and Gods cause conflicts in loyalty? That's basically the broad idea of what i'm getting at. If so, I suppose that is intentional? I did hear it mentioned a couple of times that the devs were looking at Crowfall to be a bit like Game of Thrones with its polit
  11. Yep, as I said, I read pretty much everything about it already. I'm not accusing them of doing anything wrong either. This payment type could be just what the game needs, I just get a funny feeling from it is all. I'm the kind of person who listens to gut feelings, because for whatever reason, my genes gave me such a sense. Not always accurate on what it's alerting me to, but I don't fold my hand without eventually being proven it was the right move on my part. Who knows, maybe the payment plan is 110% legit, probably is, maybe instead I get the feeling from whoever typed it, maybe they go
  12. CoE seems neat, but the payment method does have me a little worried. I mean, mathematically, it makes sense on paper, not that i'm a math expert or anything, but it's still very odd and it feels like a shell game when looking at it casually. Even after digging up all the deets I could on it, I still get that feeling that the gamble isn't going to play out in the way the numbers show. Who knows though, maybe it'll prove popular and become the next big payment method type? XD
  13. No problem ;D I sometimes play jacks of all trades myself or try to find special ways to play classes outside their normal role myself. In WoW I played a fire mage as a melee caster, even tanked as him a few times XD In D&D 3.5 I played a Rogue in one game, but had the entire party fooled until we hit about level 8 iirc when my "Sorcerer" survived a reflex save it shouldn't have unscathed, thus exposing the rogue for the charlatan he was to his own party. I'm currently playing a jack of all trades in a Pathfinder game, supporting the rest of the party in areas we need, but
