Geeeez...that's definitely a siege. Looks awesome guys. Pretty jealous that I missed it, even getting to spectate would have been very cool!
Surprised the server handled it that well, looked pretty laggy at times and spell effects definitely all over the place but overall, looked pretty solid

Compilation of random fights I got into over the holidays here. Ran into A LOT of 3 man and 4 man groups but did the best I could and learned a lot for sure. Was fun to get back into playing Templar as it has been far too long since I've hopped on.
Experimented with about 3 different builds, as well as using nethari dash instead of parry. Felt pretty meh in 1v1's, I think the extra mobility in group fights will be very helpful though.

Gotta love the druid bombs. Remember getting blown up by a few of those once or twice when I first started playing in early big world. And getting blown up once or twice since then
Nice video, love seeing everything put together, very fun!

I got my massive cleave to hit for 2.2k, plus 350-450 hits on whirlwind, plus a 1.3k C power. Quick maths puts that output to about 6800. Realistically I'd be hitting for like closer to 5000 in the combo but still really nice damage output solo buffed. I never use Rend, too buggy.
Getting someone in a C power and hurlbat makes it really hard to run away actually, unless its wood-elf/nethari.
And iirc at least massive cleave and whirlwind are AoE still. At least they can AoE the target dummies, but there are only 3 of them so idk?
I'm by far not dominant at champion lol. just theorycraft builds for fun and this one seems to be able to output a large amount of damage...assuming you can connect with it of course! I'll look for some clips of mine!

Not everyone plays ranger. A large majority of my guild plays what they want, minus champ and myrm which are too buggy. The state of the map isn't even bad either...there should probably be more nodes but w/e. It's not hard to hold the mine for half an hour to farm, even easier the lumber mill and quarry.

Jjohnsin got a reaction from groovykool in Myrmidon Power Costs Are Insane
If you team up on a myrm, the myrm just dies lol. Why do you say he can destroy? You can press berserk and any good player will just interrupt your crash while everyone wales on the myrm. Like if a myrm runs into my group I'm just going to have everyone burst him and then knock him down so he dies instantly. And I mean, ok cool myrm has a root..but when they nerf wood elf mobility not nearly as many people will play wood elf. Plus root is buggy. And only having 1 ability that's considered a strength is pretty sad.

Having an entire class focus on training only PCM is actually a terrible design. Not to mention every CW we will take a while to get those really good weapons, plus it will take a while to get all the PCM nodes. Don't think this is a very good argument. Why should myrm powers cost so much compared to literally every other class.

PCM and root blinking are only 2 of the things holding them back. Berserk is a useless skill, which is literally the identity of the class. It's more than 2 things holding them back for sure, I just outlined the big ones that stood out to me in my post

First of all you have to spit expose punish with expose debuff.
Expose punish are ability that get an additional knockdown when a player is using an ability like flintlock shot or the plague lord abilities. The other side of expose is that block abilities are don't have a cc immunity while exposed. So why in the hell should a duellist equip the rapier mastery...
    I can't wait to see dagger's
And I agree getting hold down in a 1 Vs 1 by a duellist is no fun. But they are not balancing here.
So I could live with your solution 2 but I think there are a lot of other things we have to think about.
Because in a group fight expose punisher doesn't work so good. There should be an enemy hitting you and should break the chain.
My problem is that you loading a stun while knock down ppl. So if u failed one time your chain u can just stun him... Because of no cc immunity. First problem. In the current state knights and Templar are the easiest one to stun/ knock down lock. In the earlier state the could prevent at least the stun.
But  the easiest point to nerf the expose punisher on the flintlock shot is just higher the cd by 2 seconds so u can't use the retaliate to knock down your enemies 2 twice and also not permanent.
But this is an incredible nerf and I don't know why the whole expose punisher should be nerfed.
To the other stuff I will just say no
Because the duellist is in my opinion broken because the core mechanic STEALTH is not working
The c ability is routing u while the I frame....
    And other stuff.
Like I have to play with master of pistols for the dodge as melee..
In my opinion is the duellist the weekend class in group fights
And maybe I'm just to negative because the incredible skill training that the duellist had is gone

i just want to express that the most viability of the duellist is the 1vs1 and if u want to nerf it it would be the best set the cd longer to reduce the chance of stunlock and increase the pip gains ...  I wouldnt touch expose at all atm we have to wait for the ranger and assassin expose to see it .

u know that rangers have a Expose remove ... but yeah so u shouldnt attack the backline Confessors are quite viable to attack but  they spam you. so and yeah forget about templar ,Myrm and Champion. Champions have i frames, Myrm have Juggernaut most of the times, and u cant get close to Templars because of divine light spams.
So your easy targets are Knights, Druids and Clerics
No i just saying that a duellist is most hurting a group because of spamming to much Bucketshots he can easly trigger the CC immunity ...
also while u knock down a person u getting after 2 expose punisher nearly a Bucketshot (2) key

    No word...

    because its a bug ...

Ofc sorry im playing crowfall for more than 1 year and 50% of it duellist and im playing it wrong ok .. teach me senpai...
Im just saying that the duellist ( as Melee) is since the class race split not able to go on ranged ppl because they have more dodges and going stealth is nearly to 70% bugged everytime
u Cant go in a 20 vs 20 in a melee bulk because u are just die there.
u cant stay backline because a confessor is kicking u out of Stealth...

Just meant that the MoRapier is not worth to take it ...

I agree the expose punish is a bit over the top.
What if punishing someone removed expose? Consumed the debuff. That would be an option IF there’s a way to expose a target while out of stealth.
What if flintlock shot exposed a target if they’re hit with it (and not already exposed) while using an ability? It would still punish if they’re exposed and hit while using an ability.
Rapid fire punish would be fine as is if expose was consumed upon punish.
I haven’t played rapier duelist in a while because it’s so hard to stay on target. Critical Dodge would help however I think master of rapiers needs to grant duelist an ability like ranger forest step which warps you to a target. Rapier duelist needs a good gap closer.
I 100% agree that Duelist Ultimate needs cost cut 50% similar to confessor. Way too easy to get focused and killed in group fights with only 1 escape.

Censure is just a result of server lag and poor performance.
In terms of Templar, they are easily the best tank right now in the game. Their kit is incredibly stacked already, and they don't need anything else. Giving them mobility without taking anything away is going to make what is already happening worse, every class getting everything. Their open field fight is great, especially with coordinated groups. Divine light is an insane area control ability, holy warrior provides plenty of defense to at least get to a healer, group heals from devotion can get up to like 800 a parry under right circumstances. They definitely don't need a 3rd tray AT ALL.
You can't just give a class everything. It needs weaknesses and ways for other classes to exploit it. Templar is an incredible strong and solid base class as is

You realize it doesn't make you train faster....you can just train more options. All of which will really only benefit you in specific situations. You're never getting double bonuses from any of the trees on a single race/class.

Also I'm going to highly doubt high quality gear, if even possible to buy somehow with irl and conversions, will be much more expensive. I've played economies in many many games very successfully, including games with irl money to in game currency conversion. And more often than not you're forking over a whole lot more than $20. Plus most people are gonna keep their gear to themselves because it's constantly needing to be replaced. My guess is that nobody or very little of the population will be buying anything other than raw mats should that even be a viable option.
Skill training isn't really that big. The only big difference between new and old players will be select skills like stealth stat, move speed, etc. Otherwise the ratio of power to time spend on skills drops drastically in the later stages of training. So while new players are getting stronger quite quickly, old players are getting stronger quite slowly in terms of skill advancement.
I don't know guys. I'm seeing very little viable or reasonable ways to P2W or pay to gain a significant advantage, at least at this stage of system designs. The only thing I really see that could cause issues among new players without VIP is double general training. That's about it. But I'd recommend those players go harvesting anyways to start unless they join a structured guild.

I've been playing duelist as my main class since the very very start of Big World. I know the class very well, and how the mechanics work together.
I'll start by saying that duelist is very strong...almost too strong in my opinion. And that stems solely from expose. The exposed debuff is incredibly strong, and as a result really buffs the power level of the class. Outside of expose procs the class is pretty balanced, a little on the weaker side but I'll add suggestion below. So...how to fix expose, in my opinion make it less face roll and more skill based:
    1. Add a diminishing return, separate from other hard CC DR's. This will prevent a duelist from literally just proc'ing you into the ground over and over while making the duelist really consider when the best moments to proc it are.
OR (I like this one more)
    2. Make the exposed debuff have a charge system. I.e. each exposed debuff can be proc'd twice, lasts for a much longer time. This way the duelist also chooses the best times to proc his expose to get the most out of it.
    -------------------------------------------------------
Ok so expose debuff out of the way, we can talk about the rest of the base class. While the duelist has many many build options (I have about 6-7 viable options atm)...it feels relatively weak outside of your exposed buff. And I think it should, but it needs a little bit of love with the state it's at currently.
Rapier rat: rapier is an incredible disc and really can lend itself to some nice build options. The main issue atm is with all the CC being thrown around, mainly roots. Rapier rat has a very hard time getting uptime on targets I've found unless you're with a nice coordinated group who can hold enemies in place. I'd like to see critical dodge placed on rapiers as you need the monitory to avoid damage and stay on targets.
Pistol rat: pistol is not as strong straight up as rapier rat but still solid. Mainly for the ability to proc the exposed debuff so often. First I'd make it so rapid fire only procs on the FIRST shot of rapid fire (having a 2-3 second channel where you can KD is too strong). Since pistol rat would lose critical dodge to rapier from my previous suggestion, I'd say to give them a passive along the lines of Saltpeter Rounds (which is just an awful racial ability btw). Chance to slow on next attack based on pips spent, chance increased with more pips, guaranteed at 5.
    -----------------------------------------------------
Base duelist is very solid. Really like the pip spenders, lots of options. Unique and fills a role with areas and ways for other classes to exploit. Overall, outside of the exposed debuff being incredibly strong...duelist is very solid. Their C power should really charge quicker or be 50% to cast similar to knight, champ, fessor. Otherwise it's in a pretty solid spot at the moment I think. Those changes would go a long way in both narrowing the roles of pistol and rapier duelist while balancing the brokenness that is expose at the moment.

Ahhh I totally forgot about bags. Good point. However I imagined that you could select an area, if that area fills up then it just defaults back to the next open spot from the top left. Though perhaps another option would be able to choose where the default input for items into your inventory is

I'm someone who likes to organize my inventory: resources bottom left, food top left, armor bottom right, so and so forth. And I had a nice quality of life idea. Maybe even just make it a VIP benefit, or don't, doesn't matter. But I would love this.
I'd love to be able to go into my inventory and select from the grid where I want certain items to go. I.e. I can click and drag a 4x4 box of my inventory and tag it so ore will initially enter there instead of top left. Click and drag a 2x8 box so when I pick up weapons, they initially fill out those inventory slots of the grid.
Would make inventory management much easier, which I think can get out of hand sometimes with all the different resources and their rarities. Just an idea. Lmk what you think!

Yaaah the economy definitely does not work perfectly well lol. The economy is controlled by a few whales who buy and sell and control markets on almost every crafting item and high end skin/weapon. I would know...I was one of them. I single handedly controlled almost every market for cooking and Jewelcrafting. So...nice try. Not to mention the exchange rate for gems to gold is much much higher than it is for gold to gems. Where most people only have a couple.hundred gold at most, it's much much easier and more powerful to use irl money.

Plus crowfall will be a buy to play game so they need to incentivise VIP to keep the game alive.

Wow, that would indeed make inventory a lot cleaner.
Bags will do this to a certain point so we should wait and see how they will work. If we can carry multiple bags they could do exactly as you described, the only problem would be how they would restrict inventory size in that situation.

tick rate is every 3 seconds
    e.g.

there is both a 'out of combat' and 'combat' health regen stat
in combat defaults to 0 a tick
out of combat defaults to 75 a tick [every 3 seconds - so 25 a second]
bard song currently adds 24 in combat and 32 out of combat

so 4722 hp druid to fully regen
    no song: 62.96 ticks / 188.88 seconds / 3 minutes 8 seconds
with song: [out of combat by weaving or someone else playing it] 44.13 ticks / 132.39 seconds / 2 minutes 12 seconds
with song in combat mode: 196.75 ticks / 590.25 seconds / 9 minutes 50 seconds
fire resting in contrast ticks faster and scales on % max life as well...[more a actual 'heal' than a hp regen]
