  1. "grew up in the arcades of Hong Kong spending stupid money on Street Fighter 2"  Haha I used to be a arcade junkie myself back in the days. They kind of went out of style here in the USA

  2. CORRUPTED ESSENCE

Corrupted Essence is always looking for so mature players, we understand that real life takes priority, but we love to play.

We need all classes and are trying to get as big of a guild as possible.

Myself and the guild leader are Canadian, but we welcome all.

    Join us friend,

Reply to this message, if you wish to join us and I will get the Guild leader to invite you.

Once a guild invite is sent, it needs to be accepted on crowfall.com - Community tab/guild tab.

    Thank You

  3. Hello All. My name here is Stoic. Spent most of my MMO gaming time known as Harlequin or Powerdrunkfiend. I've been gaming forever - grew up in the arcades of Hong Kong spending stupid money on Street Fighter 2.... and now 20 years later I'm spending ridiculous money on Crowfall! Hah! First MMO gaming was in GW1... oh how I miss you.... Ran with a small gvg guild called Slayers & Scholars. We snaffled a top 20 placing in the Season 1 GvG ladder with a cheesy Rangerspike build. It was fun until the Koreans came along and clinically and methodically shut us down and snuffed us out! Joined XoO via their GW division. Had many great years with them in many games and I was an active member on their Board of Directors for a fair while. Guild drama unfortunately got the better of me eventually but looking back I did my best while I was with them so no regrets! Subsequently was involved in a new guild called Ascendancy. We had good times on the Huttball courts in SWTOR but the group gradually drifted their different ways. My gaming has been pretty on and off since then - juggling family and real life. The constant string of disappointing MMOs hasn't helped either - man was I pumped for GW2... and WAR... and Wildstar... and SWTOR and... you get the picture. I'm currently tooling about in BDO and have spent coin and time in Albion Online. I only recently discovered Crowfall. I'm looking for a guild of mature and experienced gamers who, while they understand that RL comes first, still expect members to jump on TS or Mumble and are willing to place Guild Objectives before Individual Objectives. I'm excited about the prospects of this game. Sure, I have some reservations and worries about some of the systems, but my gut instinct tells me that this game just MIGHT nail it. I want to be part of a motivated group that, between now and release, hashes out some solid plans on their guild website/forum and hits the ground running when things go live. I live in Australia so my gaming times will reflect that. Anyway - here's hoping that there's a guild out there that fits! In the meantime, Flex Your Awesome More!
  4. /wave @ XoO. /wave @ Kyoji. Greetings from Harlequin/PDF. Please send my regards to Dash.
  5. Hello Crowfall community. My name is Stoic (yay for nabbing it!) I'm totally excited to have discovered this project and am looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully contribute meaningfully to the direction of the game moving forward. I started MMO gaming with GW1. So far (perhaps it's nostalgia talking - although nostalgia isn't what it used to be..) I haven't come across another MMO that captured the spirit of the original guild wars. My first guild in GW was a small band called Slayers & Scholars. We ran a cheesy but effective ranger spike build in the first competitive season of GvG. We managed a top 20 ranking before the Koreans with players like Last of Light and Bloodlight Eyes wrecked everyone with a balanced build that relied on insane skill rather than a cheesy build + teamspeak + a shot caller who could count down from 3... After that I joined a guild called Xen Of Onslaught (was known there as Harlequin and subsequently as Powerdrunkfiend) and was a very active member with them for over 6 years. I played in the betas of AoC, Hellgate London, Aion, Rift, Warhammer AoR... etc. My most recent activity was with a guild called Ascendancy. We had great times playing Huttball in SWTOR before jumping into the disappointments that were GW2 and Wildstar. Am currently dipping my toe into BDO (surprisingly fun) as well as Albion Online (here's hoping) and I'm waiting and hoping a new MMO comes along that knocks it for six. Crowfall looks like it just might have enough mechanics and systems built in to really encourage close and extensive guild cooperation which in the day of lone wolf mmos would really be something special. Anyway, I'm excited to be here and am looking forward to watching Crowfall grow and develop and I hope to be able to help create a positive, helpful 'old-school' community. Flex your awesome more!
  6. Thanks Mox! I see that I may have posted this in the wrong place.... /doh! Great way to start!
