  1. Alright, I went full reatard. Thanks for showing me that. I just checked the last talent in the promotion tree and didn't see it. Then I probably tried to equip it before I put all my talents back in.
  2. You can't equip it anymore, since the weaponmastery is gone and I definitly don't take "just use shieldfighter hurrdurr" as an answer.
  3. Like the title says. Why is the Stormcaller left with only a sickle after the weapon disciplines got removed. Seems kind of unfair compaired to literally every other class that can either carry main- + off-hand weapon or twohanded weapons. We're missing out on stats ffs. Why is nobody complaining about that? Is nobody playing Stormcaller?

I have no idea if there's bigger things planned for the free city in the future or if it's tied into the lore somehow, but i feel like it's somewhat useless simply as a trade hub, especially when ek's do the same even better and it's not the smartest thing to provide goods to the enemy anyway. The central map piece could be used for so many other, more interesting things. E.g
  9. You sound like my teacher. Also there's crafted items (eg. Advanced gear ~ 2k xp) that simply exceed any experience requirement of common vessels by far.
  10. I would also love more stat customization options for equipment. From older screenshots it seems there used to be more stats on weapons and stuff. I don't know why it was simplyfied when there's so many stats in this game to beginn with.

  12. I would actually love to see amore interesting central map piece accesible to all 3 faction though. Be it a farming/ganking hotspot or any other incentive for concentrated pvp action. It can also be called a dungeon for all I care as long as it has nothing to do with grinding mobs for some kind of currency. That's the kind of stuff I hope never comes to crowfall.
  13. Gotta think of ol' UncleBob. Your suggestion would play right into his hands. The thought that a faction would be too distracted from farming to notice the enemy turning the scoreboard seems way to optimistic. Especially because keeps have fixed siege windows and it takes alot of objectives and time to actually catch up with the leading faction.

  15. It seems to be a problem with the woodelf racial invisibility. Same thing happened recently with a stormcaller in my faction. I'm not sure if the player exploited the bug on purpose or didn't even know it was happening.
  16. Tbh I don't mind spies either. Right now in EU I welcome any pvp action I can get even if I'm the ganked one. But it's a feature like blocking a player from communicating with you. I never blocked anyone in my life except for spammers/goldselling bots but supposedly there's a whole bunch of ppl who do. I tried to give them a choice.
  17. It's true, with alot of effort (typing in every players name of one faction) a spy could become invisible to everybody. I did not think of that. Thanks. It's not particularly hard to figure out who's a spy and you can spread the word when you do. Well obviously if you want to work with your team you won't be making yourself invisible to them... it's a choice. The problem here is that certain spies just sit at a runegate and can't be killed by anyone.

So your "solution" is avoiding the problem with the assumption that campaigns will have so little incentive and content after launch, that every "hardcore" player would prefer Dregs at all times. Me on the other hand I still have hope that the incentive and content in the future will make it worth for everybody to play campaigns and maybe some Dregs in between that, even though I do see myself as a "hardcore" gvg player. So you don't acknowledge my idea as a solution? And you think that it's easier to implement a mm-system into an open world pvp game, rather than a invisibility feature for friendlies? I have no clue about coding a game but that seems debateable. Also, a mm-system would limit a players freedom in the open world and I always feel like that's a horrible way of fixing an inbalance.
  19. So I just stumbled across that 5 page thread about spying with alt acounts and this idea for a counter came to my mind. Admittedly I didn't read all of the 5 pages so maybe somebody already came up with a better solution. But here we go. What about a feature that allows you to be permanently stealthed to the eyes of a player of your faction - the spy in the intended scenario or maybe your friend for some banter. I'm no dev but it doesn't seem too hard to implement as it's already a part of the game in a different sense and so far I couldn't find any way to exploit that feature for unfair advantages. Can any of you?
  20. Unlocked all Druid promotion abilities on my stormcaller after entering my EK. As overpowered as it might sound you get essenceburn in survival tray, which makes it basically unplayable. Didn't go away after restart, but after a disconnect.
  21. Alot of times lately I don't get the most up-to-date version of the forum pages. Sometimes I can't even see my own posts after reloading the page. The version changes with every reload. I tried turning of data savers and such things but it didn't solve it. Anybody else having the same problem or is it on my end?
  22. @Sophia_Scarlett 1. and 2. are good points, that I'm confident are going to be adressed by ACE in the near future. Regarding your opinion about gathering, I feel like it's in a good spot right now. Gathering should have a proper risk/reward synergy. Meaning if you want to solo gather in full harvesting gear+disciplines and at the most profitable spot you put yourself at a very high risk of getting ganked and robbed. On the other hand nothing stops you from harvesting at less frequented spots with some combat/escape disciplines equipped, beeing less efficient but "safe"ish. @Chaos_Host In my experience the community is actually very helpful when it comes to giving advice to new players. Very often snarky questions lead to snarky answers. We all experienced the harsh reality of an open pvp world, we all got ganked and lost valuable resources. Learn from your mistakes and don't cry about it in a unrelated forum post.

While both our ideas aim for the same goal - keeping the campaing exciting - I personally feel like your's wouldn't yield enough incentive to actually achieve this excitment for the majority of players. Another crucial difference is that your idea would cut back on the players freedom to go/do what they want while mine gives them more freedom in addition to what they can do already.
  24. What speed would you intend for the siege wagons? Walking speed, running speed, mount speed? With the distance of some forts to the runegates i feel like alot of people would stop bothering with forts if it just takes a crazy amount of time to get the wagons there. It would also mean the distance of the forts to runegates would have to be considered when balancing.
