    I really hope Ace get the EKs right because with the proposed flexibility I think some EKs will be awesome.

    I'm not really sure how a crafting only guild would work. It would need a regular supply of high quality resources which would come from the CWs. To be successfull in the CW you would need to be on the winning side and therefore have some PvP skill.
     
    I suppose you could trade your items for the resources but is that really going to work.

    Sometimes a little bit more 'eye candy' can help immersion but a simple harvesting animation does it for me. There's bigger fish to fry.

    Not really in favour of the highlighted options. Those are pay to win. VIP status should only add convenience, account services and cosmetics but not give in-game advantage.

    B2P and sub and cash shop is exactly what WoW has. The WoW cash shop is mainly account services and character transfers etc. but it works.

    Out of all the suggestions putting an entry fee onto CW has merit, with the VIP letting you have access to 1 CW (in addition to other perks) and if you want to play more CWs (simultaneously) then you have to pay the entry fee. If you don't have VIP then you just pay for the CW you want to play.
     
    I don't like the idea of additional Universal Skill training for VIP. Because that doesn't give an even playing field in the CW.
     
    This CW entry fee will not stop multi accounts but it would put a significant barrier to all the alts jumping into the CW.

    Yes, I think the EK stuff is marginal. At the moment we don't really have enough information about EKs to really understand how they will impact the CWs.

    This is a reply to Angelhearth about my crafting system feedback: (I didn't want to reply in the testing feedback thread)
     
    This is my feedback on the Crafting System: I realise we haven't got factories and POIs yet but from my experience so far in Big World these are the main issues. 1) There is too much RNG in the system which causes a big frustration factor. I realise you can increase skill in areas to help the dice rolls in your favour but at the end of the day its still a dice roll. 2) When the dice fail it is crushing, you loose everything the resources and time. There is no partial recovery of resources. 3) The number of steps seems too many. It adds unnecessary complexity. These are my comments after several test sessions using the Crafting System that has been present so far. I realise it is subjective but I am increasingly becoming disappointed with the Crafting.   Angelhearth  said "Are you among those who believe you can be a good fighter AND a good crafter? Won't work, either you specialize in fighting, and probably fighting alone, or you specialize in crafting, with enough fighting skill to kill animals for hide and food. Thank god, because I am one of those who wants to be an exceptional crafter and have no interest in fighting. The possibilities for a crafter, in this game, is, or at least will be, amazing, making weapons and armor the fighters would pay all their gold, and more, for."
     
    Crowfall will certainly have dedicated Crafters and dedicated PvP players. If you look at some of my post you will see this is what I firmly believe will be the case.  However, to be an amazing crafter why should you have to put up with a crafting system that incorporates so much RNG. If you have trained the crafting skills you are still subject to the outcome of the roll of the dice, even if you biased the rolls in your favour (by the skills you have). If those dice rolls fail you currently loose everything. I can't believe a Master Blacksmith would have such a bad day to 'loose' all his materials and components. Its just poorly made socks. 
     
    The point about "Won't work, either you specialize in fighting, and probably fighting alone, or you specialize in crafting, with enough fighting skill to kill animals for hide and food."  just doesn't make sense.

    Mono is not bad but it doesn't have the performance. Also it doesn't always keep up with the latest .Net Framework so not sure if that is an issue for Unity3D.

    Hopefully there will be some sort of salvage option to reclaim the resources from poor results but the current Failure result is totally demotivating. 
    A skilled craftsman would never attempt to build an item and get nothing - it is just a bit ridiculous.

    2017-01-25 Snap Test:
     
    Tried entering a realm twice and it just dumped me out of the game to the desktop.
     
    After third attempt to join the server managed to enter the world.
     
    Confirmed inventory and spirit bank wiped clean.
     
    Got many failures crafting potions: just don't get why there should be a chance of failure on these items which are present to help us test. It just wastes time!

    Big World V3.11
     
    1) I had the Spirit Bank, Inventory and Main Menu Window open I closed the Main Window, then right clicked a potion to transfer it to the Spirit Bank and instead of transferring it  drank it. So there is a confusion about 'right clicking' items - do they get transferred to Spirit Bank or action-ed (i.e. drink).
     
    2) Resource tool-tips stay on screen.
     
     
     
    3) After re-logging into the world all the stats (stamina, health, food) were zero. These continued to be zero whilst walking around until an action like chopping wood occurred when they were all restored to their proper levels
     
     
     
    4) Creating a basic one handed book. Transferred resources to the crafting window, but then changed my mind - right clicked on the resources in the crafting window to transfer them back to the Inventory and only two of the resource stacks were successfully transferred back to the inventory: loosing 12 wood. 
     
    5) Spirit Bank. My Spirit Bank was partially wiped only. There didn't seem to be any pattern as too which items were lost and which ones stayed.
     
    6) Slag ores on the terrain are difficult to distinguish from common cobblestone.
     
    7)There was a patch to v3.11 which I loaded sometime Saturday am. Login, joined a campaign but as the campaign world was loading the game crashed out, closing all clients. Re-logged back into the client and the 'Searching For Players' is continuously animating and the usual JOIN button is now WAITING. I can look at the skill trees as normal but can't log onto any game servers. Tried relogin a few times but still the same problem - can't login to any servers.

    I would post this in the actual testing feedback section for this current test session. That way you feedback may get noticed by the developers.

    Crowfall is a guild based MMO, it is not meant to be played solo. Therefore, what guild support should Crowfall be implementing?
     
    EKs form the base for a guild and sort of player housing, consisting of Castles (of differing sizes) and surrounding land that can be utilised for different guild based activities.
     
    But what else will a guild need in Crowfall?
     
    Searchable register of guilds, with guild descriptions, size, timezones, activity levels etc.
    Guild join request mechanism
    Guild Crests, Flags or Guild Markers and Banners of some description for use in CWs and the EKs.
    Guild nameplate tag.
    Guild text chat.
    Guild 'Message of the Day' and Noticeboard.
    Guild Banks, with shared storage with access levels.
    Customisable Guild Ranks for members. 
    In-game calendars and event notification.
    Guild member activity indicators (perhaps a green, amber, red) or days since last loggin.
    Guild perks for CW wins and/or activity levels.
     
    Are there any other guild features that people would like to see in Crowfall?
