  1. Yeah I'd like to see them make an important role for each archetype within a group.
  2. I've always maintained that games that left a permanent gap between new players and veteran players were short lived. Why should people play a game that they can never fully catch up in?
  3. Honestly I'm REALLY hoping that they keep gear, and vessels (since to my understanding a vessel is just another piece of equipment) more to suit playstyle and not so much give a large advantage. For example if you like to play defensively you would have gear/vessel that increased health and stamina but you'd do less damage. I would go for something that gave me a large resource pool and perhaps above average recovery so I could sustain in long combat better. I've always preferred gear to have less impact in combat and more so enable you to play how you like to. If CF becomes a game that relies on perfect gear to be competitive at the top level, then I'm out.
  4. No joke I've seen the same like 5 to 7 people go around and dislike/post negative comments on Crowfall videos. I think CF will be the go to game for open world PvP on release. Until then, h8rs gonna h8 m8.
  5. Thanks, yeah I was actually pretty excited about EQ Next myself and we had a ton of fun making our own arenas in Landmark but it did fizzle fast! This would be more like practice duels and eventually having a tournament once I thought enough players could compete, it's certainly isn't something I'm planning on in the next test!
  6. Hey guys! Still relatively low total game time here so I'm eager to try classes and abilities out. With the Big World coming in I was hoping to set up a place where we could have organized 1v1s 2v2s so on and so forth to test skills, abilities, archetypes, and hone player skill. Depending on how long the Big World tests last for, and after people are comfortable with more archetypes, I was thinking of possibly setting up a Tournament with a bracket with just a simple prize like a Merchant Pig (free stuff is free stuff right?!?) Anyway I'd love some feedback, I just wanted to reach out to the community, I know there's some awesome players already and even more that just need practice. If you guys think it would be a good idea/bad idea/have ideas let me know!! All input is appreciated.
  7. They could do it easily with an Alliance system, where you could link Guilds as Allies (like in ARK). Simply dropping that alliance would make them prime Targets even in the heat of battle.
  8. I'd hate to see anything enter this game that people would call P2W mostly because of the negative attention that can cause a game. Personally I'll have VIP regardless of what if offers solely to support the Devs, even if it's as is, I'll be happy with it. That being said I've seen people cry P2W over the model that's already in place, but this is only because people are confused about "being able to train 3 archetype skills," at a time, even though it's actually 3 different archetype skill lines, giving someone no advantage in combat. I think they should keep it as is and maybe make it so you also receive game store currency each month so you can save up and buy something cool. e.x. In Elder Scrolls Online, you receive 1500 crowns a month for the crown store, if you have ESO Plus. As long as there's only cosmetic and convenience items in the game store, a model like that can add a lot of value to long term subscribers.
  9. I think the game offers far more options for different play types by not having dropped gear.
  10. I did see all kinds of things like comment filtering but I'm not even going to deal with that stuff. I think when it comes to hate comments I'll try to learn from the ones that are serious and hopefully be able to know when someone is just trolling and ignore it.
  11. Yeah it's actually music I own xD I knew that people could get flagged for stuff like that so I won't use any songs without permission! And I have no idea how to DM on Youtube xD but a couple people have PMd me on here to help me out!
  12. Haha your body was lying in the air too!
  13. Hey players! I'm pretty much new to YouTube as far as content creation goes and was wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks, advice, etc. as far as the YouTube algorithm goes, and what you've found to get a good response from your audience. I don't intend or care about having a huge audience honestly but I think it would be cool to be known as a Crowfall content creator when it comes out. I just kind of threw this together in Movie Maker and am thinking about buying Sony Vegas since that seems to be the most popular. I apologize for the 720p recording, I didn't realize there were settings until later on in the night! I appreciate any help in advance! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB0zJsQhSPM
  14. Yeah ESO has definitely burned all the PvPers multiple times.
  15. Same with NA server. DAoC was my first MMO though and I think the bulk of people excited about CU are going to be disappointed form over-hype.
  16. Hey there! Zimm from ESO, former member of Legend and Misfitz! Any allies or foe come from ESO to Crowfall?
  17. Zimm

    Welcome, love the name!
  18. xD I was so confused the first time I typed poorly made socks.... poorly made socks... poorly made socks... well then.
  19. I'm still looking through guilds and such and I have some idea of what this guild has to offer but I'm honestly not going to read all 30 pages of this (I read about 6 or 7) Cliffnote Intro; 1) I was GM of Pay2Pwn in Neverwinter (We held 5 to 10 spots of page#1 of every lvl bracket on the NW PvP Leaderboards and absorbed Vampire Trolls.) 2) I was a member of Legend in ESO, the (for a long time) top tier dueling guild, and an avid small GroupVXer - I believe in Teamwork and Tactics over Numbers and have been in fights that would prove it. 3) I was a member of Evolution (Not the same Evolution that is in game now) during Black Desert Online NA launch (Edan Server) and following 3 months where we climbed to be one of the top 5 guilds while having half the members. (The game was too gearbased, as I had good gear it was rare to find fights that would extend beyond me nuking someone) 4) Out of the handful of combat tests I've played (no more than 8 to 10) I've placed #1 twice with no group communication and only one other team member with me by the time the hunger pushed everyone to the point. I love to PvP and I tend to play 30hrs or more a week, schedule permitting. I have almost NO idea what I'm doing in Crowfall but since my interest in games perfectly lines up with MMORPG Thone War Surival Simulator my intention is to spend a few years with CF. That being said I absolutely want to be part of a guild that can teach me, and in hand learn with me as we progress. I guess my main concern here revolves around you guys being an ArcheAge guild. I never played it but heard it was entirely Pay2Win and Gear Based. Now I've played games of this sort previously and have found myself leaving games that are Gear based because the PvP is not competitive. As I said being unfamiliar with AA as I am I can't say for a fact that the PvP in that game holds no water so please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I don't care about the hax you guys used in AA, but if I were a member of your guild in CF, you would be reported by me for use of a hack. Anyway I'd just like to get some point of views from your guild members on these statements before I apply for something I may not be whole heartedly interested in.
  20. Haha oh snap! I'm subbed to you on YT Ziz, didn't realize you were getting into CF! Cool stuff man glad to see content creators coming to the community.
  21. I realize now there was a lot of drama going on before I posted in here, I honestly didn't read the previous posts so I just posted based on the OP's thread. Unfamiliar with all the dramabits you guys are talking about and I think I'm gonna keep it that way. Peace be with you guys, cheers.
