    Earlier today a couple of friends got suspended for something they said in guild chat. Out of respect for forum etiqeutte i will not quote what was said, but it was something that ACE consider as "slurs" under their TOS which we thought only applied to "public" speaking places such as the general or party chats. We had no idea that the guild chat (which is exclusive to our friends and community) was monitored aswell and that deteriorates not only for the sense of community and potential guild bonding but for the overall ingame free speech in private chatrooms which a guild chat could be reffered as.
    We are not asking for the words that was said to be normalized, which is why we only posted them as banter with eachother in our guild chat but we find it silly that you can be suspended for saying something to a friend in a non-aggressively manner within PMs or private rooms.
    A mod has already been contacted regarding this issue and he confirmed that the privatized chats are regulated aswell. The question is how they determine something as being a "slur" when it's clearly been said in a private chat, without anyone reporting and between friends.

    The progression curve is at the shallowest it has ever been (nerfs to attributes, nerfs to attribute acquisition, nerfs to talent point spend, 1x training instead of 3x), there is so little difference between a fresh account and one that logged in from day 1 right now in terms of combat ability I don't understand where this sentiment that passives are already causing problems comes from.

    The change to artifact binds from wartribes is really bad.  The binds themselves are worth basically nothing even to a white vessel (less than 1 kill).  I don't understand the point of changing this.  All of the leveling is done in a no-PVP zone so it doesn't create PVP, just gets people angry when others come in and steal their mobs and slow their progression.

    This guild is full of rascals, but they are rascals that show a lot of promise.  If there is a guild to keep on your radar in the near future, it's DIS.

    I don't miss the hassle of combining artifact binds, but perhaps the artifacts should be worth more XP to compensate for removing the ability to combine them.

    (1) In 5.100 Illusionist worked on ranged characters and many builds slotted both passives.  
    (2) Melee played a major role in the meta in 5.100 (the LIVE server patch)
    (3) Illusionist does not make ranged OP.  If it did, melee would have been dead and out of meta in 5.100.

    Why do melee feel bad now? Because everyone  complained there were no "stackbusting AoEs" in the game.  ACE gave us some stackbusters and they work very well as there is no friendly fire in CF.  Careful what you wish for....  
    Melee also feels bad because we do not have a ton of training and crafting customization was nerfed on top of lack of training (Plate wearers will have more resist in end game gear).

    Stop with the calls for nerfing and removing discs/minors/mechanics that actually impact how a character plays and thus allows players control and customization.  ACE is removing customization and meaningful choices from players left and right in 5.11.  Sturdy nerf, Blue vessels dropping from 102 attribute points to 60 points. (green/white went from 90 to 60).  Crafting difficulty increased. 

    ACE needs to get the message that they need to INCREASE character customization by giving players more tools that meaningfully impact character choices.... there should be 20 discs on Illusionist's level and players have to make meaningful choices between the options.  Everyone is using discs like sturdy and illusionist because 95% of all the discs have so little impact on how the character plays that they are not worth applying.
    I remember JTC selling us on a game where choices matter and players could fail.  I do not see that vision in many of the changes to Crowfall.  Impactful character customization needs to be buffed.

    Guilds don't need alliances to employ politics as a strategic tool.
     
    Clams last campaign talked with Winterblades about what their plans were and we negotiated some terms for a siege window so we had some guaranteed knowledge about how we could move about the map, letting us take territory we normally wouldn't feel safe taking.
     
    At the end of the day we got what we wanted out of the arrangement, despite the fact W still attacked us and continues to be our "enemies" in competition.
     
    Non-aggression pacts, simply just dividing up the map as "territory", or even just focusing on one guild as a target and forcing them to split their forces in order to keep everything on lock, is all using diplomacy in order to gain an advantage in the Conquest part of the game.  Smaller guilds need to be shrewd diplomats to survive, even when Alliance mechanics get implemented.
