  1. Cross-court, hail mary, 360 no scope, 6k+ heal much appreciated.
  2. It really feels like they are running out of money, and what they mean by "First Sanctioned Campaign" for 6.0 is that it is going to be the "early access" soft launch to get a cash infusion. They know they don't have a complete game, so they are attempting to mask the lack of content/systems/features with pointless grind.
  3. They are removing the temporary conveniences at 1000% the rate they are adding the final systems that mitigate the pain those temporary systems were meant to alleviate. I am 100% for location locked spirit banks. But without more bank space in campaign, this will just be one more frustration heaped on an ever growing pile.
  4. There are 3 different start dates in the article: when the next trial begins on Thursday, April 11, 2019 Start: April 9 at 4 PM CDT (NA)/4 PM CEST (EU) In advance of the new campaign, we will deploy the 5.8.6 update on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
  5. Recall now being Russian Roulette for all of your items in CW is a huge QOL nerf tho.
  6. Everybody seems to be asking about the crafting score, which is understandable. What I want to know is if the kill count is gameable. Can you just slaughter an alt over and over to win? Is there a limit to the credit you get for killing the same person within a certain amount of time? There didn't seem to be anything stopping people from gaming the captures by using an alt to dance in and out of the circles and repeatedly capture an outpost over and over, though I don't think people really abused that one. Wouldn't affect the faction score overall, but definitely could affect an individuals score. If there is no lockout then RIP to the notion of taking it easy on people in death shroud.
  7. +1 need general chat w/Tyrant in attendance again.
  8. That is why I suggested linking adjacent parcels to the system. Not perfect, but better than now. If you add up all of the adjacent parcels of all of the forts and keeps, that is a whole lot of R8-R10 nodes and mobs by the end of the campaign that are generally pretty worthless R3-R4 now. Those fair weather harvesters and gankers are what keep the world from being empty. They are what cause pvp to happen outside of seiges. As the campaigns get longer, how long will it take for people to go from only logging in during sieges to just not logging in at all? We are already seeing this happen during fall/winter in 2 week campaigns. It will only get worse when winter lasts a month. An empty world is just plain not good for the overall health of the game.
  9. 1. Make Spirit Bank only available in the Temple. 2. Start all Keeps at R6 at the beginning of a campaign 3. Start all Forts at R4 at the beginning of a campaign 4. Link immediately adjacent parcels to Keeps/Forts in terms of overall Rank. 5. Set all nodes/mobs in the Keep and linked parcels to R3-R6. Set all nodes/mobs in the Fort and linked parcels to R1-R4 6. Give us a mechanic to rank up the Forts/Keeps. Maybe a sacrifice mechanic. Maybe sacrifice shards from hunger crystals give a ton of value for this. 7. Gate the rank ups by season. Spring Max = Keep:R7, Fort:R5 Summer Max = Keep:R8, Fort:R6 Fall Max = Keep:R9, Fort:R7 Winter Max = Keep:R10, Fort:R8 8. Rank up the nodes/mobs in the immediate and linked parcels with the central fort/keep. 9. Maybe de-rank forts/keeps when they switch hands by 1 rank down to the starting rank as a minimum. This will: Give players more investment in the keeps/forts. Having a bank nearby is now vital. Make forts/keeps valuable to capture and hold even late in the campaign when your faction may have very little chance of winning. Help alleviate instances of certain resources (hungershards/aurochs/certain graveyard types) having very few/no high ranking spots. Make it worthwhile for harvesters to harvest in Fall/Winter. As Plentiful resource pips go down, the quality of the resource nodes goes up. Make Harvest specialization more important. Tons of 5-pip high-rank nodes in spring devalues this training.
  10. Couldn't connect a swing, therefore couldn't charge up my heals. Either lag or ZombieGandhi got moves like Brian Boitano. I'll let the community decide. I owe Galvia my life. Totally clutch net.
  11. +1 At the very least lockout timers once an outpost or fort is taken would lessen the circle standing grind greatly.

    Templar talk.

I specced Fury knowing a respec was coming soon. The main problem is divine light sucking down all my pips in exchange for very mediocre healing. Get rid of the pip requirement entirely. Maybe base the strength of the healing on how many pips you have, but for the love of Maleki leave yur damn mits off mah pips. The other two specs don't get clobbered by this, one gets a talent to remove it, and the other removes the healing (and presumably it's pip drain) altogether. More General Templar issues: 1) Parry would be great as a normal ability but is useless when you are forced to give up a huge portion of your mobility for it. Especially in light of #2 2) Our leap is pretty much impossible to hit with unless your target is afk, and can lead to wildly different results based on the quirks of in game physics. If your target is running away from you the vast majority of the time you bump backwards off of them and then the ability gets triggered, missing them because they kept on moving. 3) We are the only defensive pip-based class. We need to have access to a passive that gives us a chance at generating a pip when hit. One missed swing can leave you in a pip-hole and lose an entire fight, even at the very beginning.
  13. 1) Guards should spawn at least twice as fast 2) Neutral Guards should attack everybody 3) Once freshly capped, x4 capture speed till full.
  14. Does the "D-Team" in your sig mean Degan and Dreaden have joined you in Sugoi? And, Hi. I'm back from my Crowfall vacation
  15. I have nothing to say other then I hope that this thread stays on the first page in general discussion for all of eternity.
  16. It would be really cool if high quality vessels didn't just "break" when worn out but instead degraded to a lower quality. The lower quality ones should have a frankenstien look to them, as they have been killed multiple times and been patched back together, while the high quality ones could look pristine.
  17. The lunging on legio and knight is way more subtle. More like a baby step. The champion takes a decent stride. *Edit* but the knight and obviously legio have higher base run speeds then the champ to compensate. BTW listen to Oberon when it comes to anything legio, especially movement. Sometimes it feels like he found a secret teleport power. The jukes are real.
  18. If you stand still, touch nothing on your keyboard, and then spam left click you will step forward with every attack. Tested it on Champion, and the steps don't move you at full speed, but left click does move you all on it's own.
  19. I don't know how many times I've tried to reply to you on this one, and you ignore it every single time. They are already there on basic attacks. It is most pronounced on the champion.
  20. And then there are the "testers" that haven't played enough to understand the game and get good at it, let alone realize when significant changes take place, who speak as if from positions of ultimate authority.
  21. I've gotten completely used to the camera/movement and have started doing things to utilize the options it gives you for better visibility into what is going on around me. That said, I think it wouldn't hurt to try some of the things you are talking about. I've just been trying to get across an accurate picture of the current state of the game. It drastically improved from 1.0 to 1.1 and got even better while 1.1 was in session. But the forums seemed to be occupied arguing over things that had already been addressed. Maybe not addressed to a highly polished state, we are still in pre-alpha after all, but addressed nonetheless.
  22. https://youtu.be/jmXNHNUgZv4 A couple of my better matches from the last day of the Hungerdome. Played all day, was tired, things went quickly downhill after these games. Damn you Cuddles!!
  23. I think a lot of people watching videos and streams are getting the wrong impression about how this works because of the direction the characters end up facing on your screen. Let me be clear: The camera and movement are functionally identical to what you are used to in 3rd person view games. The only difference is a lack of sidestepping or backpedaling animations. I made this video to demonstrate: https://youtu.be/QAeDldPIDuo First I hold A to strafe left. Then I hold D to strafe right. Then I hold S to backpedal. All of my basic attacks and abilities fire in the direction the camera/reticle is facing. The only thing missing here are animations.
  24. Guineceans start at 50% fear and a reasonable but lowish base regeneration rate during combat. They should be able to hold their own 1v1 versus most archetypes at their base cooldown and regeneration rate. But: For each enemy within a certain distance their cooldowns decrease by X and regeneration rate increases by Y. For each ally within a certain distance their cooldowns increase by X and regeneration rate decreases by Y. Making the little frightened adorable fluffy hamster the raging badass you want by your side when you are outnumbered. *edit* X and Y should be pretty small per player with an overall cap to the total amount the cooldown/regeneration can be modified.
