    I think it really depends what kind of rules the devs find for certain problems. E.g. if you are allowed after a campaign ends to keep your inventory and take it over to your EK it can be very rewarding for any harvesters even if you lose a campaign. But if they wipe your inventory and you lose its kind of punishing. And if you are allowed to bring good items from the last campaign into the next one it would be nice. But on the other hand, people that won the last one will have great benefit then for the next one. Kind of hard to balance. But also there could be cosmetic items as rewards. This would make more sense as it is better to balance.
     
    In general the question is still open what kind of role the EK has to play, how you improve it, what kind of benefits its grants for the next campaign and so on and what you can do to improve your character between campaigns. Lets say for winning you get a parcel for your EK with certain ore resource spots and you are then allowed to bring the ores that you harvested from that into the next one. But then what do the losers get. Maybe also some resource parcel but with lower rank or less ore. You could make like a minimum reward for a campaign you get simply for joining it and make it better the more point you contribute. And the winners get some extra stuff may it be cosmetic or something for their EK don`t know.

    what would be nice is some sort of mine where you get like x resource in y time that you can capture and then there is a caravan that transports its to the temple. if you raid the caravan you get the resources. if you defend it you get the resources. idk if one can implement something like that or if its contradictionary to the harvesting philosophy but sounds interesting.

    I played a knight since long ago and now i roled a templar, cause its much more easy to play. I mean the knight is pretty tanky and has some interesting defense abilties but, they don`t help if you are not attacked. And you do little damage compared to other classes. I did some pve and the templar is so much more easier and convinient to play i have to say. Can really see a reason for the knight existence unlike they come up with some sort of protecion mechanic for the healers. This is just my first impression of both classes. And i had elekin race for both classes, which give you a second charge for both classes, but the parry of the templar is so much better then the block of the knight in my opinion.

    To be honest i find the new harvesting und runecrafting thing also very annoying as it is now. In the past you could craft runetools everywhere and you needed a lot of them now its all about running back and forth get to the workbench make a bunch hope you don`t be killed and looted and so on. And for basic tools its horrible like 1/3 of resources you harvest go into craftig tools. Why is that so its like toolmaking simulater. This was for me some reason to stop palying the game for a while. It would be better if tools still decay but don`t break or so, so you can still use them but with penalty until you repair or make a new one maybe.

    I would rather see an even more dynamic passiv skill tree with active abilities locked behind training rather then more simple stuff. But therefore there must be more choises and not simply T1, T2 and T3 class and race skill trees. Don´t know if they can do it.

    I think the specilisation into combat or crafting or harvesting is quite ok. Its just the rest that has in my view no meaning. You train skill for race and class and get little bonuses every pip and there are no choises to make. Once you know what race and class you want to play there is not much to do. It gets interesting if you want to switch, but some people talked about some catch up mechanics so maybe thats not such a big deal if you really want to play another race/class after half a year. And if you look at it, any lets say human cleric will be the same if the all start at release and after half a year. There is absolutly no difference between them that comes from race/class skill tree.

    To be honest when it was at 10 times speed, the passive skill tree felt super amazing. Now as it is 3 times speed its really dull and boring. Even if you wait 3 or 4 days you make almost no progress there anymore. This whole system needs some sort of overhaul i think, because one day it will be 1 times speed and thats even worse. And what you get is not very exciting at all 5% here 5 stats there and so on its not like you have to make any decisions.

    yeah but they could also add some disciplines to unlock in the passive skill tree, but you  need more choises then other then just class and race.

    Well not at all cause i don`t know you, but besides all negative posts i would love to say something positive to the devs. Have been watching the game for 2 and a half years now and things are comming together step by step. I think thats great. With every patch there is little bit more of what you want to have in this game which is great. You can clearly see how parts are comming together. I know there are several points or aspects of the game that people dislike, i think its quit hard to make a game that satisfy many people if you don`t go for world of warcraft style and yet many people dislike even that. So go along, make the game you want to make and listen to the community some times. But i also think your community work is really good, there are frequently updates and grafics or videos to any new topic just go on with that. I am really looking forward at playing a finished game of crowfall one day . And i know the great competor will be camelot unchained but as this game has NDA so we know nothing about it and how it will steal people from the crowfall community.

    But thats very complicated in my opinion. I mean there should be a reason why you want to get runestone tools, so they must be super effective compared to the other stuff. But the way it is now its just very time and resource consuming. And for runestone tolls you have to skill the basic crafting tree as well as runemaking. Just by the sheer amount of resources you need and the way equipment decays it would be better if you get more resources out of a single tool. So in my opinion increase durability on all kinds of tools. I had no problems with that when you could craft the runetools without a crafting bench. That was super effective. But now the are like super hard or complicated to get and if you are at a crafting station you should probably craft a bunch of them so you don`t need to run back and forth all the time. Or log in and log out between EKs. It just destroys the flow of the game.

    I wanted to say: I like the new sparkling animation for higher resource nodes thats really handy to tell wether something is interesting to harvest or not.
