    We all know that there is a lot of scepticism and worries about Crowfall, but I just want to remind you that you also have a lot of supporters.

    please for the love of god STOP ASKING FOR NERFS ASK FOR BUFFS INSTEAD buff the 90% of worthless majors we have, that would be much better for balance than removing things, theres nothing i hate more than progressively getting weaker as the game goes on because things keep being removed, limiting choices even further

    basically his biggest issue: having to fly as a crow after pvp death is a deal breaker (he only wants to pvp) while the big button with the msg "hold to return to statue" is in the middle of the screen  is at least what i took from it ^^

    I just leave this here. This and Kiras video are the only things about Crowfall that create views and I feel this will not generate much interest or trust in future development.
    It just shows that a new player who is not viewing a lot of videos explaining stuff might not have a good first impression.

    A lot of vets will point out that he does not understand the game's mechanics, but if that happens to him, it might happen to a lot of casual players.

    Never thought of that as a small guild really. If anything, a guild size of 40-100 that can field 15-50 for a battle seems to be exactly what the engine, maps, zones, and content are designed for.

    20+ players online and 60 total isnt a "small guild" its a medium sized zerg. This whole thread is misleading.

    Hello,
    So I recently bought my Epic vessel that allows me to go from 33 to 34.  Was all fun and games until I realized that you guys at ArtCraft did not thought through the whole leveling process and monster level on camps.....
    I get it why you increased leveling caps from beta, keep players chasing the carrot on the stick longer for that legendary vessel, some incentive to a future cash shop experience boost (just an educated guess judging by my years of experience in mmorpgs). I get it, I get it !
    Now, before I start speaking of the monster level lets do some "quick math". 
    In order to level from 33 to 34 a total of 274.000 exp is needed. Now judging that mobs give 50 exp for normal, 75 exp for elite and 500 for boss ( any of them but we hit that topic in the next paragraph), you need to kill around 5000 mobs. 5480  mobs, to be specific, if we divide the amount to 50 which is the normal mobs and those spawn way often than elite. With only elites you need 3653 mob kills.
    Now the bosses....There are 3 categories of them as follows : solo boss - easy kill, group boss - doable in 2 people with a slightly lower kill time than the solo boss depending on group composition and there is the raid boss - some comes with mechanics where you have to chain stunlock in order for it not to heal and the kill time is around 5 mins in a full group, again depends on comp/gear). 
    Now all these 3 types of bosses reward the same amount of exp, 500 exp. How is that sane by any judgement ? Make it so normal stays at 500, group goes to 1500 and raid goes to 3000. Would seem fair.
    Now camps and monster level. 
    There is a rule enforced that if you out-level the mob by even 1 level you get 0 exp. So for example you are 33 level you get no exp from kills on monsters level 32 and below. On the other hand if the mob is outleveling you there is no bonus exp. Is 50, 75, 500, even if the mob is 35 and you are 30. Again, how is this normal ?
    Now camps, I am on Malik, the double camp we have on that map, the camp with most density, for some reason has only level 32 mobs. So at 33 i am locked out of that. I can get loot but not exp. So my options start to thin. I have a lvl 33 "bird people" camp, with weird pattern and pretty bad density even for a solo player ( assassin in my case) with no AoE skills. Also I can opt for the spider village, 33 lvl mobs, no gold/equipment drops, just necromancy parts (green) and sacrifice items white to legendary, with a low chance for the higher quality ones. 
    Now on sacrifice items, the same rule as for monster level applies. So if you are on an epic vessel you will ONLY get sacrifice exp from epic and above sacrifice items. Farming spiders is not self sustainable, you lose durability and get no gold/loot while leveling there. It got a slightly high elite to normal ration so it is faster than the, lets say, double camp. Also you can skin the mobs.
    Now, at 33, my option on Malik would be spiders, the "bird people" camp or another orc camp up north. Once I ding 34 ( probably by Friday) I will be locked out of those 2 camps also since the mobs are 33. Now my Only option would be the orc camp in north, Lookout Gorge where monsters are level 35 BUT the camp itself got a weird pattern for the spawn and it only spawns like 12 monsters.
    Now don't get me wrong, I see what you did here, I understand that you try to incentivize PvP, but this is not the way to do it. Locking people out of the camps due to level is plain awful design. I am aware that I am, a bit, ahead of the people in terms of vessel level, but when people catch up is going to be a grief fest. Why ? Simple... Your camps are optimized for 1 group rotation only. When there are 2 groups on the same camp the spawn messes up and both groups have to wait for mobs.
    What I don't understand is why, no matter the level of the mobs you kill, you receive the same amount of exp 50, 75 and 500. Why ther is no boosted exp for higher level mobs and also why, in God's name, you decided to have levels on dregs mobs since they all give the same exp ? Why not make all mobs across the board level 35 than?
    I don't want this post to sound like a rant, I think it needed to be done so you can change the design. Leveling as it is, is tedious, I have not felt the grind burnout that I am feeling now, since i played Lineage2, like 15 years ago. Due to decay on everything farming will happen, has to happen, but the numbers are high, too damn high, and the concept of the camps is bad, really bad. I am a hardcore gamer, I put 10 hours daily into this game and I like is going way too slow, so imagine the casual, the family guy, you are overwhelming them. grinding is a bad Asian mmo developers concept, no one likes it when it becomes a 2nd job.
    Tone down the experience required by a solid 20%, and go 1.5x on experience gained/ mob.
    I know you guys have a small team, but get on a 33 character and go play for one hour, see your limitations in terms of camps and see how much exp you get. You will understand that what I am saying is right.

    bud, even if you drop the guild cap from 500 to 100 no guild is going to be majorly affected, everyone can still run their full zerg, the problem is with zone caps and performance

    There is no reasons for raid bosses in sky point.
    Additionally the pay off for killing a herald/raid boss is pretty damn terrible.
    The time investment is just not worth it for the drops.

    Hello corvax, Thank you for your insightful thoughts on the subject. However I would be remiss to not point out that you are one of the best players in game for years. I am sure you would excel even with more handicaps, but dont be mistaken to think the other 99% could ever achieve your level of cf play.

    Hello Kundrya, Thank you for your insightful thoughts on the subject. However I would be remiss to not correct some erroneous statements that you have provided as fact.
    I have never in the history of Crowfall ever worn anything more than blue gear. I live by the mantra that gear is for the weak. As a show of good faith I pledge right now to not wear legendary gear until crowfall reaches it's 1st anniversary
    My KDR right now is at a 5 to 1 ratio in white gear. 
    My Mega-guild is less than 100 members, not 320. And our Alliance ranks 3rd maybe even 4th in size in Dregs. 
    I will be farming war-tribes tonight to provide our Crafters with resources because I hate crafting, and I think it's hypocritical of you to consider my statements braggadocious when you claim to be the Official Arbitrator of what a normal player and a normal Guild is
    As always your input is appreciated, and there will always be a place for your skull, in my skull box.

    my group in the last couple days won 19 vs 57 and fought 19 vs 85+ with rezzes, we lost vs the 85 but not because we were outmatched or couldnt survive the aoes, it was because we were fighting right next to their keep, essentially an unwinnable fight and we still got a lot of kills from it myself getting 12, punching up is very possible and requires a good driver, a coordinated comp, and players who can make plays. This is a numbers game and was marketed as a numbers game, if you dont want to play a numbers game you need to make up for it in other ways besides forum post count. Now for friendly fire im on board with it between allied guilds but thats a different argument other than zergs op.

    I agree there are certainly nasty technical glitches at the moment, but I don't believe adding in Friendly fire would fix the so called "Zerg" problem. 

    For years we didn't have a formal Alliance system and suffered friendly fire from other allied guilds  We fought many zone cap sieges with various allied guilds, it just takes more coordination and positioning to reduce friendly fire.

    You probably aren't in the official discord. You see them posting stablity fix updates constantly on TEST over the past week or so, and they are literally rolling out another update in 20 minutes.

    We've had updates and community responses to changes constantly for months - you think they are silent it's because you are ignoring them to craft some sort of baby narrative. Relax or quit man - you're being ridiculous.

    Hello fellow crows.
    I think this topic needs to be talked about. After last nights Siege i think its clear that this game is NOWHERE close to being 1) a complete game and 2) not ready for release and 3) servers can not handle the devs vision for large scale PVP. With the lack of communication from the Dev team at the most critical time of a video games release i think its clear that they do not plan to service this game for a long time. Which is sad because this game could have been good, but the Dev team made some really really bad decisions.
    So lets talk about No. 1. The game is not complete. the starting area is a complete joke. no idea how they thought that Gods reach starting quest area was going to keep players. The entire quest line needs to be revamped, Crafting needs to be completely revamped. I understand you want gear progression to be tied to guilds but that only hurts small guilds and small packs of players who wanted more FvF. Also WTF were they thinking with no guild bank..... i mean really..... really
    The UI is complete poorly made dergs and clearly designed by a 10 year old which follows suit for the games graphics.. But i could understand going with a lower art style to try and increase performance during large sieges.. but oh wait they failed at that also because the servers and their game can not handle 100 vs 100 with other a 300 person Q waiting to enter the zone.
    2) its clear the game was not ready for release and shouldn't have been released in its current state. But the Devs were out of money and needed to try and make some income to potentially continue development of this game. But the game is in such bad shape that this will never happen. The cash shop is a joke $25 for a character slot... i just gave you $40 for the game and your already locking character class options behind a paywall. oh wait the VIP is a paywall also.... just overall a horrid joke and a slap in the face to the players who actually bought this game and backed this game for a long time. This is not the game i backed 4 years ago.
    3) the servers can not handle large scale PVP. Like i said above the game turned into a slideshow within seconds of getting close to the Keep. you get a 1hr window with 20min of lag and slideshow. Once we got into the keep your character stopped all animations and just glided across the ground. And to top it all off the servers crashed kicking everyone out of the zone leading to over a 500 person Q to get into the zone. So there is no reserved slot system for people who were already in the zone to get right back in so it lead to who ever gets more people in the zone first wins, which is not ok.
    I could go on and on but i think its simple. The game needs to be taken out of live status and put into open beta, this MIGHT save the game but overall i leaning more towards this game is dead.
