TerrorRage got a reaction from Cordite in [Public] Crafting recipe sheets
You may find this helpful. I created this google sheet to help design weapons and armor for specific attributes.  It has almost all the crafting seals available, when I last updated it. It's still a work in progress, I have not been able to update it in some time due to work.  If you copy the document to your own drive all the pull down menus should work.

When harvesting is PK and sanctuary I would get a 'Not Enough Stamina' notice when my stamina bar was at full strength. I noticed other players could harvest when I could not, logging out and back in helped fix this problem.
I seemed to move in slow motion in sanctuary.
Leather Armer Layers does not show resistance stats.
All stats for crafting components run into each other as if the font size is to big for the space allocated.
Placing building, fort components feels clunky, I keep wishing for for an overhead plan view where I can lay out a fort then place the whole thing on the map.

Hunted and killed a boar, but could not skin it.  Tried making a video clip, but received a 'Sorry, this PC doesn't meet the hardware requirement for recording clips'.  It worked last week. Also getting video error out of game.  My video card does meet the stated requirements , its a AMD R9 series. Computer is running hot, fan is always on, battery life is under 2 hours.

TerrorRage got a reaction from Kraahk in Crafting Build Template
I started making a crafting build template, still a work in progress.  Basically it is a list of the things you need to make the thing above, based on the stack of that thing you need to make.  If you think that is complicated then wait till you see the spreadsheet.  Right now one item is available to view, I'm still working on the drop down menus to auto fill the basic resources you will need to make that component for the thing you want to make.
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/attribute_F8XZYDw7hOb_ attribute/edit? categorized =sharing
So far with the one build template I have up, you can select the attribute/benefit you are looking for and it will make a list of the basic resources you need to complete the item.  I categorized the attributes into Combat, Crafting, and Exploration. With exploration sub categorized into Ore, Stone, Wood, & Animal.  This makes it easier to find in the pull down menu.

I was making a poorly made socksload of tools this AM.  I decided to bite the bullet, keep some detailed records, and use this all to create a simple crafting guide.  Some of you might find this a bit basic, however, I hope that some of the numbers at the end might prove interesting to all.
    Bit of background information.
All of these numbers were generated when I was creating a bunch of blue and green quality tool With my crafting armor on, I have Runemaking Experimenting = 50.  Running pots, my Runemaking Experiment = 120.  (Your experimenting level effects the likelihood that you have an “Amazing Success” versus a “Good Success” or a “Moderate Success”.)  I allocated roughly 300 experimentation points during the course of the morning.  My skill is high enough that I had zero “Success”, “Moderate Success” or “Good Success” rolls.  About 58% of my rolls were “Great Successes”, 38% were “Amazing Successes”, 3% were “Failures”, and 1% were “Critical Failures” First, let’s consider how your success level effects the quality of the item that you are creating.
Your item has a based quality level for a variety of different statistics.  I was making tools, so the three statistics of interested were
Penetration:  How much damage will the finished tool do each time you swing at a node Crit percentage:  (I make all my tools using silver and gold in the sigil.   This means that each swing of the finished tool has an increased chance to crit and yield improved quality resources. Durability. During the experimentation stage, you have the opportunity to allocate experimentation points.  You can either allocate them one at a time or, alternatively, allocate multiple points at once.  (For now, I strongly advise allocating your points one at a time.  More about this later).  Each time you allocate a point, you spin the wheel.  Depending on what level of success you have, your item will get better or, on a very rare occasion, worse.  Let’s use Penetration as our example:
The base penetration is 5.75 An “Amazing Success” will increase your penetration by 7.036 A “Great Success” will increase your penetration by 4.4145 A “Failure” will leave your penetration unchanged A “Critical Failure” will decrease penetration by approximately 12.25, however, a critical failure will never decrease your penetration below 5.75
The number of experimentation points that you get to allocate depends on the quality of the materials that you are using and how high your crafting skills are.

Using orange quality materials, you get 10 “slots” per skill in which to allocate your experimentation points Using purple quality material, you get 8 slots Using blue quality materials, you get 6 slots Using green quality materials, you get 4 slots The total number of experimentation points that you have depends on your skill level.  My crafting level is such that I get a total of 12 experimentation points to allocate per stage.  Let’s assume that I am doing the final assembly of my sigil and my runestone to create a runetool.  At this stage of the assembly, I get to allocate points for
Item quality (which increases penetration) Durability
If I am using green level materials, I have a total of 8 experimentation slots in which to assign 12 points.  This means that I’ll have 4 points to burn.  If I used blue materials I’ll have 12 slots for 12 points.  If I use purple materials, I’ll have 12 points for 16 slots.  (I can allocate up to 8 points in either Item Quality or Durability, but I can’t max out both)

    Here’s a simple applied example:
I am making a green pick.  My base penetration is 5.75 I allocate 4 points into Item Quality My first roll is an Amazing Success.  Penetration increases to 12.786 My second roll is a Great Success.  Penetration increases to 17.2 My third roll is also a Great Success.  Penetration increases to 21.61 My last roll is a third Great Success.  Penetration is maxed out at 26.03
Here’s where life starts getting a bit more interesting:

I created some Monte Carlo simulations to estimate the distribution of tool quality that I could create with using different qualities of raw materials.  (Please recall, this is specific to an Experimentation skill of 120).  I generated 10K tools of each quality and created a table of possible distributions.

Earlier in this post, I commented that players should (typically) allocate their experimentation points one at a time.
Your expected quality roll decreases significantly if you spend multiple points at once (In my case, I tried spending 6 points at a time, and was seeing multiple "moderate successes" "successes", and the like.  At this point in time, it really doesn't make sense to be spending multiple points at the same time.  The counter example is if you only care about extremely high quality output.  For example, consider the case in which you which you were specifically creating items for the purpose of creating a blueprint and you only want to blueprint a tool with nothing but Amazing successes.  The odds of getting one of these "perfect" creations is extremely.
When you need to be this far off on the tail, it makes sense to roll the dicey and spend all your points at once.

Here's a link to my spreadsheet from making 50 blue quality pickaxes. I plan to repeat this experiment after i get to the end of the Runemaking skill tree to see what +50 does to this. already you can see a difference between rolling 5 pips or 6 pips at 5 difficulty. Or Rolling 5 pips at 5 or 8 Difficulty level. That said this is a small data sample. Yes i know there is no +69 ones. I was annoyed at that too. It looks close to a 1% chance to roll that and have amazing durability too.

    Sugoi - The Elite Academy - (PvX/NA)

    Recruitment Message
First and foremost, Sugoi is a high profile PvP guild. We're a community that mixes hardcore competitive gamers with more casual players, and produces successful teams that have a lot of fun together. We intend to compete and win in the most competitive CWs. We have our roots in WoW, LoL, and AA, but our focus is now firmly on Crowfall. Sugoi believes in rewarding player contributions.

We use a DKP system to track attendance and contributions, and we reward success. We have a busy schedule planned - there will be organized group activities daily, and you'll always find something to do and people to group with to do it. Organized group events are taken seriously - success is far more fun than failure, after all - but we don't have martinets in charge.

    What we're looking for
Competitive PvPer's that fit well with our group. The more competitive the better  . We want all types of players in this section from casual to hardcore. Although we have a section set aside for those who are the most hardcore, we want every player to feel comfortable with the level that they are at. We also offer training for members who seek to better themselves by our elite PvP members Crafters - We realize this is going to be an important part of the game. As one of the first games out there where the person crafting actually matters, we want to recruit quality crafters as well. You can bet the rewards will be proportionate for doing your job well  Bankers - To help manage our complex system of obtaining, trading, distributing, and managing money. We want players that know how to play the economy game and love doing so. We are known to usually be one of the wealthier guilds across MMO games because of how much we manage our money. It comes with some work but feels very rewarding at the end of the day. Harvesters - Sugoi is a self-sufficient guild, we need all types of players to keep it running. With the release of new information, we find it appropriate to recruit for this area of the game as well.  We want people who can think for themselves and make the best decision without needing a leader to lay out exactly what you have to do all the time. We emphasize quality over quantity in our player base (although quantity is nice) and have high expectations for our players. We will carefully monitor each individual players actions to make sure you fit in within our community. Individual talent is recognized and highly valued within our guild.

Note: If you are noticed in game for your outstanding plays, a recruiter from our guild will most likely reach out to you as well.
I'd also like to add that there is no age minimum or cap to join our guild. your maturity level and how you conduct yourself will be assessed over a regular interview process. Also, Sugoi does not condone cheating, hacking, botting, key broadcasting or any other activity that takes away from the game as ACE intends it to be played. Anyone caught doing anything against the TOS or our code of conduct will be reported to ACE and kicked from Sugoi.

Update!: The Disciplinary Committee is now accepting recruits!!

The Disciplinary Committee is being reformed with the intent of being our elite PvP branch separate from our ordinary military group that represents Sugoi in the realms of Open World PvP, and in TOURNAMENTS. The people we are looking for has not changed, the people we are recruiting before the start of the game are players who have proven that they are a leading player in games of the past such as the diamonds in league of legends, Master level players in starcraft, arena masters in Wow. We know that this game is different from the ones you've played before but this is the standard for the disciplinary committee. This group is for the top 1% of players out of any game, and it just so happens that being in the 1% ourselves attracts a lot of like minded players.

Members of this tier receive massive benefits from the guild from resources that we set aside from them. For more info visit the full article here https://docs.google.com/document/d/15qMmLkgDjDm9XHCb6UQctakZwXzO066-CndtfADaWLU/edit?usp=sharing

Certain leadership positions are up for grabs, we can always use more help   (message me for more info)

Update!: Sugoi is now open for alliance talks.

Sugoi is now accepting contracts with other guilds. It is very early in the game but the ground work has been created for our alliance system. Essentially we will be taking on partnerships, trades, and other services as part of our community play in the form of contracts. The main purpose of these contracts is to establish trustworthy long lasting ties with other guilds. If you would wish to contract with Sugoi, Please contact Cuddles at our discord (see below). You may can also access the discord link via our website.

    What we can provide
At Sugoi, every player isn't just a number to us. Our Leadership takes the time to get to know the skills and needs of all of our members. We realize that each player wants to succeed in their own right. Imagine being in a scenario where you're playing a game and collecting resources to further your own projects. We have seen many guilds simply take your hard earned resources for their own use without so much as a sign of recognition, gratitude, or return on investment. Many of our members come to use with stories like these, and they run the risk of being kicked out their guild, or their guild falling apart due to incompetent management.

We task ourselves with coming up with fair systems that allows for players to receive what they deserve. In Sugoi you earn your fair share of the spoils through working with the guild to accomplish your personal goals as well as the guilds goals. We are firm believers in this balanced concept of earning your fair share, so don't worry about under the table deals because we don't have them. There are spreadsheets upon spreadsheets of loot and bank transactions that try to make ourselves as transparent as possible when it comes to distributing and providing loot. Here is an example of how its done in ArcheAge. Transparency in our book keeping is key to make sure our leaders don't cheat our members out of what they deserve. This way we can accommodate all types of players from casual to the hardcore. Naturally the hardcore members will end up earning more loot. Other loot systems such as loot council are arbitrary and unfair, and rolling is too RNG based so we've decided to forgo those options unless we absolutely need them. Especially in this type of game where group play is stressed and resources are scarce, we want to make sure everyone is happy. This guild is made for the players not just the guild leaders.

In addition to our management style, our leaders and some core members are all hardcore players who have a long history of being the top 1% of players across multiple games. The D1's+ of League of Legends, the masters and grandmasters of SC2 and the 2200+ rating WoW players. Although these aren't requirements of joining our guild, we have much respect for our members who have this sort of history in gaming. Our leadership also come's with the large scale PvP combat experience in ArcheAge where we picked up a few tactics and because of that, we are one of the only strong standing original guilds from release. We can guarantee that we will give it our all in Crowfall in making sure we have the type of successful guild that we want to create.

I've been trying to condense the information here into a form that's not quite as overwhelming.

The idea behind the following spreadsheet is to start with the skill you want to improve, choose the buff, and it'll let you look up the seal materials and the metal bar or stitched leather materials "easily".

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qU_aBaamyEjRC_Y16YhTV7vEfUYmIXuZRemkBnTvZWw/edit#gid=0

It would have been much shorter, but turns out the mats are different for each crafting skill unlike harvesting, where they are always the same for each buff.

Feedback welcome on how to make it easier to navigate!

You are missing a few - the 3 stamina-related ones for example.

Damn. Did some experimenting: the seal changes not only regarding the ore-input, but also the stone-input.
Still missing one stone, but yeah......to much options xD

    Marble Copper - Crafting seal
    Marble Silver - Runemaking seal
    Marble Gold - Alchemy seal
    Marble Iron - Enchanting seal
    Marble Tin - Necromancy seal
    Slate Tin - Crafting seal
    Slate Silver - Woodworking seal
    Slate Gold - Jewelcrafting seal
    Slate Iron - Blacksmithing seal
    Slate Copper - Stonemason seal
    Granite Tin - Prospecting seal
    Granite Silver - Crafting seal
    Granite Iron - Chopping seal
    Granite Gold - Crafting seal
    Granite Copper - Mining seal
    Cobblestone Tin - Crafting seal
    Cobblestone Silver - Woodworking seal
    Cobblestone Gold - Jewelcrafting seal
    Cobblestone Iron - Blacksmithing seal
    Cobblestone Copper - Crafting seal
    Limestone Tin - Crafting seal
    Limestone Silver - Crafting seal
    Limestone Gold - Crafting seal
    Limestone Iron - Crafting seal
    Limestone Copper - Crafting Seal

And then you can combine those with different leathers/ ores to get differentiated effects:

3x3 Iron +Prospecting Seal = Plethora of Dust: Stone
3x3 Tin + Prospecting Seal = Beneficial Harvest Power: Stone
3x3 Silver + Prospecting Seal = Benevicial Harvest Chance: Stone

3x3 Gold + Mining Seal = Harvest critical Amount: Ore
3x3 Copper + Mining Seal = Harvest critical Chance: Ore

So. Just an example. So many possibilities xD

TerrorRage reacted to miraluna in What happens if you consume a contributor package when you already have access to the game?
If you consume the package, you will not have the option to upgrade it (if there are any upgrades available for it).

If you consume the package, you will not have the option to gift the package to another account. If you want to play 2 separate accounts or give one to a friend, you (or your friend) would need to register another account name, and gift the package to that new account.

So it's better to leave it bundled for now, no real reason to consume it. As Kraahk mentioned, you can email support with any questions about your specific situation.

Thank you for your help, going directly to the graphics card manufacture and downloading the latest driver for windows 10 did the trick, as well as waiting just a little bit longer for the game to load.

Getting the Graphics card mac drivers from the producers of the card clears up things, since Apple is just too lazy to update them..

Any black screen or graphical error u get is driver related. Been through a lot of testing...

    Welcome to the forum.

If there is no playtest you will usually be able to enter the main screen of the game, where you can work on your skill training. If the game is completely offline, it will tell you so if you try to login. Having a blackscreen is normal and it can take some minutes until the game is loaded. I would only worry if it is more than 5 minutes. In that case you might want contact support@artcraftent.com, they will help you to get the game running.

As for the macbook question, i don't know.

I am going to try playing on a macbook pro, which has all the required specs and will be using Windows 10, theoretically this should work.  I have already used mac's bootcamp to partition the drive so I have a dedicated windows section.  I have downloaded the Crowfall software.  My two questions are, has anyone else tried this?  And if there is no active play test going on will I still see something or just get a black screen? Right now I am just getting a black screen.
