Nothing in this statement is true, except of the "I", because that seems to be all what this is about: You! (Fair enough, though)
One of the latest news articles stated well enough why God's Reach was implemented and how it is meant to work in the bigger scheme.
During testing, there may be short times when no other campaigns are available. Like the last full pvp campaign ended on thursday and the next full pvp campaign will start on tuesday. In these times you can still pvp. Either in your EK, but also in the God's Reach campaign. To make it more easy for you: Go here

These are full pvp zones, including forts and keeps and sieges.

So, what are you complaining about? About not having full access to a campaign with more than 2 pvp zones for whole 4 days ... in a game at pre-alpha stage? Seriously?

I love feedback, i love criticism. When it is sound or funny ... at least somehow. But your's doesn't seem to be ... anyhow. Let me be frank with you. What you showed here sounds, for me, like the usual carebear-complainer rambles that has been seen from time to time within the last four years: "I don't get enough victims, so this game is poorly made sockse! I want them now, I want them weak, I want to feel good without any effort ... and you owe me to get there. Not now, but yesterday!" (By the way: Up to now it never worked out well. Just saying.)
That is not how it works. In each area of Crowfall, you will have to do something to get where you want to be. In your case, in this stage of development, right now, until tuesday, this would be to go to the siege islands.
I know, it's a tall order. But sometimes we need to make sacrifices.

Speaking of sacrifices, I am willing to take into future consideration that you might have intended to make your original post be funny (and maybe i just didn't understand it). Or that your anger was genuine, but you just didn't see that there were pvp islands on God's Reach. Or maybe you just had a bad day and exeggerated a bit. Or maybe you just wanted to show off a bit to, so you would find people matching your individual playstyle faster and easier.
But, if you really meant it just the way you wrote it, man, i would recommend to reconsider the way you look at some things. I do it all the day. And sometimes it's not the worst idea.

    Anyways,
    have fun, good luck

Tyrant will wipe the server when alpha launches, and he'll wipe it again that night.
He'll wipe the server for beta too, it makes him feel al-right.
He'll wipe the server in time for crafting updates, and again for siege war.
He'll wipe the server before he wipes the server, and then he'll wipe it once more.

Ahh, that makes sense then. I'm fine with waiting, thanks for the response! (individual elements would be better than the whole thing at once, so that's worth waiting for)

ACE mentioned on a stream they are undergoing a UI pass. The UI for this game has a few issues, but I don't think it'll be a priority issue until the game is about to softlaunch.

Telonos reacted to Hyriol in Looking for tips/suggestions for UI text issues
They did remove the slider some time ago.  I believe the plan is to add scale to individual UI elements instead of the entire UI at once (which is what the old slider did).  Unfortunately this is probably one we just have to wait on a for a while longer.

Telonos reacted to Tinnis in Looking for tips/suggestions for UI text issues
i've been telling them this for years
at a resolution of less than 1080p the text becomes blurry and has character rendering and scaling issues. [way more than it really should]
even at 1080p these "crafting text areas" really struggle too

Your points about knowledge being power in this game were also very salient; I kind of wondered how that was going to work once the game went live. It was nice to read for testing purposes at least, helped give me a basis of understanding of how some of the systems worked (or at least, what their aim was.) Sorry to see it go but glad to hear that this isn't going to mean an end to you or your guild as a presence in Crowfall proper, and very glad this isn't the end of Malekai and your other projects, very much looking forward to those.
I strongly suspect I'll just be another corpse in your guild's wake but good luck all the same!

Why have the mob transition based on time of day when there will be a spreading frost mechanic already effecting resource nodes? Seems like a much more logical and lore following reason to have the NPCs change if you just have the frost change them too.
Most of the mobs out in the CW are spawning around a crystal currently, perhaps change that to default to a non-harvestable tree or group of trees like you currently have at the muskhog hunting grounds that changes to the current hunger crystal if the frost hits it. At which point the nearby animals start changing into the hunger variants.

    Mostly what durenthal said.
40 minutes cycle with monster metamorphosis might be ok for test. Can't really imagine this in the campaigns, though. Playing several months in the same campaign and the monsters all the time changing their bodies every x minutes - strange.
It think for me it would feel better if the spawners change by a certain chance per each season. So may be in spring 5% of them would become winter spawners, 15% in summer, 50% in fall, 95% in winter. Changing both the optic of the diorama and the hunger-type of the monsters (or their chance to be this or that variation). It would also provide some variation, because it's only by a certain chance. It could also be used to link the spawn types to the current campaign result. Let's say if order is on top (who fight the hunger), it would lower the possibility for winter spawners, while if chaos rules the chance gets higher.
However, day/night/moon cycle being meaningful is a great thing. How about moonstone and moonsilver, glowing only at night, usable as components for weapons/armor/buildings? See my banner glow at night. And ... welcome to the Moonshine-Citadel! xD

    Oh heck yes.

If we could access all the recipes from J and have a toggle for learned and unlearned it would be so much easier to know what was needed.

They could have requirements missing with the node name and pip amount needed to learn as well. Giving people the ability to make the right choices. Like Missing requirement: Blacksmith Table, Intermediate Armor Research,  3 pips completed.

Currently we don't see wether we can craft a specific item, unless we use the appropriate crafting table. Which is quite a bit unconvinient. Do I have this recipe? Where do I have to be to use it? Do I have to train more skills?
I would like to suggest that when opening the crafting windo [J], all trained recipes are shown ... though those that require an intermediate crafting station or dedicated crafting stations get, for example, a different color, to indicate that you have to use such a station in order to use them. Maybe add a note somewhere in the menu (yellow: needs intermediate crafting station / red: needs dedicated crafting station), or something like that.
I think this could make things much more understandable.

First of all, welcome to the community. At least as far as possible. Because, let's be frank, you kind of screwed up your first impression. And of course people will (and did) react acordingly.   But that's ok. You are new. Nobody can expect that you are as much familiar with the Crowfall development as those who followed it through the last years. On the other hand, nobody can expect the veterans to have endless patience for always the same questions and preconceptions. If both sides will be able to come together - we'll see.   In the end, your feeback shows that there is a communication issue.   You obviously believed that you would buy a more or less finished game. That's not the case. Crowfall is currently in Pre-Alpha 5.5. Whith Pre-Alpha meaning that all test environments only include specific parts of the later game that have to be tested individually, before all the parts will be put together in Alpha (which should happen likely within the next three months). And the fine tuning coming later in Beta.   Your feedback also shows two other things. First, you are a person who gives feedback. Thats good. A lot of people don't. On the other hand, you are a consumer. You expect to get something.   Point is: the package you bought is a pre-order package. You bought the later game (release: late 2018/early 2019). In addition - as a bonus - you got access to the current test environments. This early access has not been charged, it's official price is $0, you got it for free. The early access is meant to give the interested community the opportunity to test specific things, to give there feedback - and by this helping to make the game better. You have to understand that, because that is what it is.    Wether this is communicated well on the website where you can buy such a pre-order package or not / wether it is better communicated in this or that language, that's another question. And by the way the only one that really counts in this matter.   So my suggestion would be:   Don't feel disappointed about your experiences. Maintain your desire of sharing them. But leave the typical consumer mindset and join our tester mindset. For example: Make a feedback thread in the discussions/suggestions forunm, sharing your first-timer experience about how much it looked like you were buying a finished game (and why), or contact support@crowfall.com if you want to keep it private.   We are here to help the game becoming the best game possible. We can make a change, if we are willing and able. And you are part of "we". If you want to.   Have fun, good luck

    You want answers?
Son, we live in a world that has pixels, and those pixels have to be guarded by other pixels. Who's gonna do it? You? ACE has a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for the unfinished state of the game and you curse the developers. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know; that extended alpha testing, while tedious, probably makes for a stable launch. And extended alpha testing, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, helps crush bugs. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at LAN parties, you want extended alpha testing. You need extended alpha testing. We use words like frame rate, code, latency. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending pixels.  You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the extended alpha testing that ACE provides, and then questions the manner in which they provide it! I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a mouse and login. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

To add on to the excellent points others have already made, I just want to point out that the combat does not have the same feel as a game like Age of Wushu(Wulin), since it's combat complexity is not the same and is not set up the same way. If I remember correctly, Age of Wushu kind of plays a bit like Blade and Soul, which is much more like a fighting game (ie, Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat). The combat in Crowfall is very skill based, but it's less about twitch as KrakkenSmacken mentioned (like a fighting game) and more about strategy and understanding your class/skills/build. This makes it more about preparation and choosing which skills you want to take into combat, knowing how those skills counter other classes/skills and how they can be countered by other classes/skills. Completely different kind of gameplay, though they do both emphasize player skill in their own way.
