    The Shadow Campaigns
    The Shadow (Faction vs Faction) Campaigns return!
    The Shadow Campaigns are Faction vs Faction campaigns where followers of the Sun, Earth, and Moon pantheons compete for Conquest, Glory, Wealth, and Power.  Unlike The Dregs, The Shadow allows guilded and unguilded players alike the opportunity to capture strongholds, siege objectives, construct and upgrade buildings, and earn end of campaign rewards.  The Shadow is intended to provide a means of progression for players bridging the gap between God's Reach and The Dregs.
    The Shadow Campaigns have a minimum level of 25 to participate and has NPCs level 29-33 When you first enter The Shadow Campaign, if you are not guilded you are given the option to join a faction If you are a member of a guild, your Patron Deity determines the faction you are a member of The Shadow Campaigns are Embargo Campaigns.  When you join the campaign with a character you can import a set number of items into the campaign.  Until the end of the campaign, you must 'unlock' your character from the campaign in order to join a different campaign or access your Eternal Kingdom. At the end of the Campaign, Rewards are given for members of Factions based on their Faction's standings in the Campaign Similar to the Strongholds that are found in The Infected zones of God's Reach, the building options in Strongholds are predetermined.  Duelist Balance Changes

This overrides Spirit Whip. Sweet Victory – Now heals the Duelist for 750 when they Hard CC an enemy, ICD 5s Hunter – Basic attacks add a stacking 1% PDM reduction on target, stacks up to 10 times, and lasts for 10s, Flintlock Shot adds 2 stacks Cloak of Shadows – Now also adds a 10% Bonus Damage for 10s Into the Shadows - Now also adds all Duelist Buffs when used. 10% Bonus Damage/Cap buff for 10s, 10% Crit Chance buff for 15s, 20% Crit Amount buff for 15s, activates 50 Stamina Regen over 10s, activates 5s CC Reflect Buff, and activates 2000 Armor/Cap buff for 10s.     The gold dropped from level 1-25 Wartribe NPCs has been reduced.  Some New Player Experience quests have had additional gold rewards added to compensate for this Improved Server stability Adjusted the darkness of heavy rain during Fall

    Love this idea, helps to add both personal goal setting and guild goal setting in an easy to understand format for players of all stripes.
    It also would make some of the current oddities of conquest (you would not believe how many new players are left either feeling cold or confused based on the explanation) less of a drawback as players could refocus on specific goals and kill each other along the way!

    The Divine Favor system remains the most untapped vein of content, IMO. Currently, it is used to consolidate individual activity toward specific goals, during Dregs, seasonally. The system tallies something like: rare rings made or gryphon artifacts sacrificed, by player, during the uptime of the card.
    In past, I've argued that the Divine Favor should be massively expanded to be the overarching system by which player activity is measured and valued by the game. A few things remain salient:
    Divine Favor cards should have differential durations. Not just seasonal, but hourly, daily, weekly, seasonally, campaign duration, maybe ongoing. Divine Favor cards should be more plentiful. Not 1 card per category (Glory, Wealth, Power). ACE is clearly capable of tracking a huge amount of individual activity, to pull off any card at all. I want to add some significant thoughts to this conceptualization of Divine Favor. Divine Favor should expand and replace the current leaderboard.
    Divine Favor can be the overarching theme of the game. This means rewriting the NPE to engage players in this updated Divine Favor system. This means removing the "score" from the leaderboard. Should be Conquest, Glory, Wealth, Power with subcategory tracking. A New Player completes a quest and gets +10 Wealth or +15 Glory, etc. The Divine Favor categories should be: conquest, glory, wealth, power.  Conquest: ownership, ranking, and conquering of map assets Glory: sacrificing Wealth: crafting and harvesting Power: pvp I should be able to look at some intentional and interesting personal metrics. I should be able to click my current campaign "Glory" and see something like - Sacrifice: Aracoix 1430xp, Enbarri 3380xp, etc etc I should be able to click "Power" and see my KDA (a card might be, earn double Power points for killing someone in the top three conquest or 10x for killing someone with top 5% Power, etc.) I should be able to click "Wealth" and see what I've harvested and crafted this campaign. Each category should have its own individual "points" that are tracked and visible. The current blackbox is discouraging bc we do not get the realtime feedback of progress that many enjoy. The "points" should be account bound, and currency. We should have Ranks for each, that are meaningful in that they reflect successful activity and offer the ability to buy our rewards (this could replace the convoluted reward system nearly entirely, but doesn't have to).  This is obviously a massive overhaul, but its a massive overhaul of a system that seems to be capable of making the player experience in Crowfall significantly more coherent. Conquest, Glory, Wealth, and Power could be earned on any server, including God's reach. Maybe the more "dangerous" the world, there is a small multiplier on currency, etc.
    Maybe where your guild places in these categories corresponds to the percent of your currency you get to export (I earned 1500 Power currency, and team got 5th place, so I get 90%).

    Anyway, those are my current thoughts on a large chunk of polish and coherence that seems to be lacking, especially for new players. It'd be fun if they saw "+5 conquest," and then could go see that update on their stats. Could give out titles, special cosmetics, EK buildings, etc. etc. 
    Combine this with the ability for many, many more and much smaller guilds to own and build up keeps and we will be somewhere. Combat is great, just keep performance improvements coming. We don't need another round of class updates for many months, IMO.

    Players can now only change their graphics settings in the Lobby Players are unable to change their graphics quality to a setting that is known to cause crashes for their system

    Added several improvements that should increase stability of the game servers The Jumpstart Tome (a consumable which levels a character to 25 when used) is now available!  One jumpstart tome has been added to all accounts and can be imported through the Inbox Fixed several localization issues
