  1. Is there a list somewhere of current supported video cards for testing?
  2. Pretty much this. Something about games that if I log into the game and the combat is crap, then it immediately turns me off and I can't play it. You want your character to move fluidly and easily and not look like it's stuck on a stick that is rotating or doing unnatural movements in combat. So far alot of the animation videos show off impressive looks but it's the final push that I'm looking for.
  3. For me, Crowfall is the only game that sounds good and looks good together. Not a fan of the current Wiggly Boobies trend everyone is currently into nor some of the other games. Only game that could draw some of my attention is EQ Next but if it plays like Landmark does then I'll pass on that as well. Currently putzing around in Swtor and The Long Dark until I get into Crowfall.
  4. Currently using: Intel Core i5-2500 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB 8GB RAM So yeah will probably need to save up some
  5. - That my computer will need an upgrade to perform well in larger fights ( i don't want to go back to my old EQ days of turning off everything to play larger fights) - That game performance blows - That I log into the game only to log out in disgust Other than that pretty optimistic...

  7. Plenty of these types of posts get put up in game forums but I'd be interested in seeing in this forum, with the information we have so far, on game mechanics that players would like to see return from other games. First on my list would be a meaningful death/corpse run. Old EQ would be the base on this and the PVP looting that has been announced adds to that. I was always found of the XP loss, as it mad you make sure to play and behave in what you did because that XP loss was hard thing to come by at times and for some classes. Now I'm not saying bring in the EQ system but base it something off of that. I hate the current WoW system as it doesn't encourage smart game-play. Second would be crafting. I'd love to bring back crafting that makes finding/learning recipes that makes the best gear and leaves great gear up to the players and not some raid boss that a small percentage sees. Sure, those bosses should have something to entice incentive to attack them, but a lot of the gear should be crafted based. Maybe a 60/40 raid/crafting requirement. I also would like racial based crafting. So Dwarves have a racial to make great plate or a specific set of plate. Humans could have a plate racial as well but their plate gear would be based towards another stat or look or effect than the dwarf, but comparable. Any other thoughts?
  8. I've seen this argument of Pay to Win on every single cash shop game that has come out. How many have I seen it actually been true in? 1, and that was Allods Online which killed it's own community before it even hard launched. I'm pretty sure that in this age, with how much knowledge developers have from other similar games that have cash shops that they understand what works and what doesn't work in regards to the things people pay for and don't. Heck, look at Star Wars the Old Republic and Guild Wars 2 and how much people fork over ever new update to the shop just to change the look of their character. You don't need items that boost another character over another to make money, you just have to add shiny pixels for their characters to wear to make money now.
  9. If you look at the bottom of the FAQ page https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/crowfall/crowfall-throne-war-pc-mmo it shows the races under Heroes. You can get a good idea of what is currently planned, but may change or not.
  10. If I had the option to do this I'd jump on it in a heartbeat. To some, if you really believe in something and the people behind it, then money doesn't matter. If that person had the capability to do this then kudos for them and I hope they enjoy their dinner....and can I have the leftovers!
  11. In EQN, the mechanics of Voxels was extremely problematic in how you could place, maneuver and change them. It was one of the main reasons I left playing the game and got a refund as they never did address some of these problems. The whole Voxel mechanic is extremely interesting though, and adds a lot of flavor and potential to games. I just hope the devs here can implement a better control system than SOE had.
  12. Only thing I notice is that the left and right sides look to mirror each other. So what once was bright and good has now fallen into ruin.
  13. This is all great information! The one piece of information I am most looking for is all about the World. Is it going to be open world (aka Warcraft/Lotro) or sectioned off (aka Swtor, Wildstar)
