  1. That said, this patch is actually pretty good and we appreciate it. we're all super excited to get into this campaign.

  3. Duelist inconceivable consumes pips but does not apply buffs if you dodge after using it. Impale(Often) doesn't go off when you press it but runs the animation and uses a global cool down. Pepper box shot(Often) does't go off when you press it but runs the animation and uses a global cool down. Redirect pain occasionally consumes pips and the full 40ish second cool down but does not give you the buff.

I'm not sure what the thought was with this, Lore is not a good answer. there is no sense in rewarding someone who logs in once and gets a kill and logs out more than people who actually put in time and work to test and play the game, do sieges, and get tons of kills and assists. being punished for assists makes zero sense. atleast just remove assists from the equation if you want it to match lore.
  5. I think we've learned a valuable lesson about judging a book by its cover. That being said more evil LOOKING races would be a welcome addition.

Unless the devs really want to push for having to charge your ulti up in each fight, everyone will always just go charge up there ulti on an animal/fort well or anywhere else. target dummies giving ulti charges would not change anything for the actual game, yet make theory crafting a whole lot easier.
  7. Very interesting surprised i didn't notice this while i was messing around on test the other day. Seems to me out of character for fae to be night but its not an unwelcome change in my book.

  10. You can easily get around the guards with all of the line of site provided to us by the devs.
  11. Guinnecians or duelists seem to not have any animations currently, you just T-Pose around even when dodging, rolling, and attacking. and if you equip a discipline you go entirely invisible. also tunnel puts you below floor boards and a bunch of other places we shouldn't get. plays up the Rat side of guinecians though.

The new client controller update fixes most of the no regging stuff that takes your cooldowns. the biggest issue now will be broken animation and the fact that burrow now glitches you into walls and under floor panels you're not suppose to get into causing you to get stuck quite a bit. Happy to say that i hit a target dummy on test for like 5 minutes and didnt get bugged out ability not working as intended.

  14. Duelist pips do not show up in any form, pepperbox shot and impale both miss 100% of the time and still consume pips. go for broke (still) does not put you back in stealth when the animation finishes.

  17. Phr00t, a confessor, and my self, a duelist, went out early on the trial of Illara EU [balance side] to get a get a head start for the launch of the NA campaign today. After killing some of the higher rank war tribes to get an idea of what they drop, we decided to check out the enemy adventure parcel. Within minutes we found ourselves in multiple skirmishes with smaller groups of players, praying on people who had already been damaged by the war tribes. After about 15 minutes we ran into a group of about five Chaos players who had just finished clearing out a camp and we decided to engage, the fight went a little longer then our other fights and we ended up near a nearby rune gate. as Phr00t and I were nearly finished killing these Chaos players, a group of Order players warped through the rune gate and started to engage. Phr00t and i secured the killing blows on the prior group but our health was low and we were outnumbered. being a duelist i easily slipped away which left Phr00t with four decently geared players chasing after him. We did our best to peal away from the enemies and run however the Order group had a myrmidon who would chain pull Phr00t any time he got a decent amount of distance between himself and the Order group. At this point i had almost given up at making it out with phr00t being alive so i was just sitting up on a perch watching him try to get away. he was running toward the edge of the map and i guessed he was going to throw himself off the map rather than let the Order group have the satisfaction of killing him. However right as he got to the edge he turned around and used his confessor knock up. i saw four enemy silhouettes go flying in the air, 3 of which sank behind the ledge, falling to their deaths. one landing right between phr00t and myself needless to say we both pounced on him and finished him off. We finished off the morning run with 15 confirmed kills on the score board making it an excellent first day of the campaign.
  18. Just trying to see what the average age of Crowfall players is, i'm predicting late 20's to early 40's.
  19. The sieges have been getting better and better since the performance improvements as well as the restructuring of factions. A bunch of folks have been complaining that small guilds can do nothing vs the larger "zerg guilds" I think this campaign is a good way to show that we can atleast make a dent even if we don't have the man hours to win the campaign. Super fun siege look forward to more to come!
