  1. I like those effects though and they would fit well in crowfall.
  2. I am not a fan of bullet drop unless the range is very long. Fessors would need a 50+ motor range and ranger 70+. I would rather see them just tighten up the hit box by like 15% and give a tad more range than mele. I think bullet drop works in survival games but not as well in tru MMO's, but thats my opinion.
  3. First I want to say that I have around 60+ hours of testing FW. We tested ice caller yesterday with almost full purple gear, 1200 support power and it was on a wood elf. The amount that both refreshing breeze and cooling ice healed for was very low. The iceweaver suffers from being a more stationary class and suffers from extremely high mana costs. The ice caller now has the lowest heals per second and is not mobile. The Icecaller will no longer be used because its heals are about 50% of what they need to be to be viable. This also effects the other 2 frostweavers, and not because they can place less bombs (which is fine and a better play style). With there very costly kit, they really needed a big stack of frostweaver ice down to have enough mana to just cast their spells. We will see a shift from every group having frostweavers to almost no frostweavers at all. If I were to change them this is how I would do it. Fist bump up the healing of all FW abilities by 85%. This would be a great place to start. I would bump the damage of frigid ice by 20% to help that skill out with the massive nerf. Finally I won lower the mana cost of all FW abilities by 30% and make ice cost 100 making it an even cost while free weaving ( at least the damage ones). This would allow Frostgaurd to give out armor more frequently and would allow Frostweavers to be more fun to play.

  5. Overall Frost weaver Bugs: `` The Frost weaver has a few bugs that seem to be part of a bigger issue. There are many skills right now that are double hitting. The frost weaver however takes it a step further. Lets start with frigid ice. If you place a ice weave, or any ice at all and turn it into frigid ice with freezing blast you will see 3 ticks of damage to the target. Freezing blast (electric is what it says it is) and what I only assume is supposed to be 2 ticks of frigid ice, but it says its freezing blast. This is with 1 person and 1 instant explosion. We did not video it , but we did test three people near each other and the middle person was hit 7 times and the two end people were hit 5 times. So somehow the damage is chaining from one person to the next. Now lets talk about the most broken skill in the game right now shatter storm on the archmage. So the way we understand the skill with archmage is while shatter storm is hitting you, you have a chance to make a volatile ice . Right now when one target gets a volatile ice proc, it procs on all nearby targets. This results in instantly one shotting multiple people in just a second. You can slightly see it in the second video I posted, but the best way to test it is to use the target dummies. Put your shatter storm on one test dummy and see what happens. When one volatile ice procs I have had it proc all the way down to the last dummy, even though it is no where near the storm. They all will proc at once as well and I assume that it is not a guaranteed proc and they should not all proc at the same time every time. So in summary for sure frigid ice and shatter storm are hitting/procing on multiple targets that are close to each other. I think the reason frigid ice is only hitting the closest target instead of everyone is because on the very small hit box it has. This was tested mainly on arch mage and I will be testing this on frostgaurd soon.
  6. yes we want all players to have even more of a reason to stay in gods reach. lower the mobs rank and resource rank to next to nothing then we can make it slightly bigger.
  7. I am not sure you comprehend mmo launches in the last few years. Personally I didn't think the extra passive training was p2w but I told them that people would think it was. Do you know what happened ? They changed it because people thought it was. I tell you what I will reach out to a few content creators and just see what they think. In the last few years it doesn't matter how good your game is at launch it is only as good as people think it is.
  8. Not saying it will kill the game but when people realize that we all start ahead of them, it will not be good.
  9. We are not talking about the 50 active players testing the game. We are talking about launch and thousands of boomers wanting everything like the good old days and then realizing they are starting from behind. I don't really care either way I have the ones I want and I am not convinced the game will succeed. What I do know is that the game does not need anything negative impacting the launch like cries of p2w. They will have there hands full with just getting a playable game out.

  12. Now a days people consider p2w to be ANY advantage you get with money. You can argue that since this game is in testing IT HAS NOT COME OUT YET, that we all paid for participation trophies that give us an advantage over people who will buy the game at release. If the game had launched it may be different, but we are getting an advantage for testing that retail players wont get. Plus we didn't do anything to get them
  13. Yeah it could be considered pay to win. People coming to the game will have a disadvantage with not having the badges. Will they ever come back, or be available to other players wanting to min max.
  14. Is there anything people would like to see on vendors? Not doing specific requests, but would people like to see ore, dust, armor, weapons, or anything else. Also what vendors are you guys checking on a daily basis? Thanks

  16. An hour and a half of 4 people scouring 1 area gave us 13. I would very much argue that point.
  17. They are fine for people chopping wood who get around 2x to 3x the rate of any other profession. Maybe wood is bugged or ore and stone are bugged, but wood is the only profession that makes decent embers.
  18. I am on my phone so please excuse me if this ends up being a little rough. I would like to talk about gathering Chaos embers and hard caps on stats. We are starting to reach a point where we are gearing more towards having more pieces of gear purple then blue (some legendaries as well). They way the system is set up you are hard gated by chaos embers. To rerole an epic piece of gear you need at least 20-25 chaos embers. The big problem is the simple fact that inorder to get 20 chaos embers you can gather almost a full set of purple gears worth or purple ore. This does 2 things, 1 it extremely deflates the price of epic ore and 2 inflates the price of chaos embers. Most people still don't realize this and sell them for cheap, but this is even starting to happen. We also are not incentivised to sell epic gear because the price is just to expensive for TRULY rolled epic pieces. We farmed motherlodes at chaos keep on sunday for an hour and a half and got enough ore and stone for a ton of jewellery and armor, but we got 15 chaos embers. The system is set up in a way that is not even and we either need a way to better farm embers (one profession is a lot better than another) or lower the requirement for gear rerolls with embers.
  19. i was not going to respond to this post, but I thought since you did not reply about the 2 videos completely making your argument laughable I would. I do not talk trash nor lie on the forums so this is a place you will not find me often. The 2 videos posted in this thread show HoA outnumbered and we win with little to no deaths. Your lies and attempts at slander do not help the game and it only looks bad on you. I understand that you will not post on this anymore, but that you will read this comment. Just next time you try and post a thread about a review of the game take a moment to calm down and try to make thoughtful arguments that are not just about being upset you died.

    You say big guilds, but as an HoA member, we average 15-20 a night for siege. W averages 25-35 from my knowledge. There are bigger guilds then the two of ours, but we are the ones that just min-max our guilds.

    We have to defend against 120 (60 chaos and 60 order) and a 50 member alliance 60 if we are all at peak. Yet we do not complain, we actually find it very fun.

    We had multiple spies on our side as well. We know for a fact a chaos individual not named here had one sitting next to our forces right before siege.
  23. Thanks Todd for that heated take on Crowfall being P2W. I hope you did not think that I was saying the game was P2W. I just want this game to do great things and you gave me a clip I can show people when they talk about Crowfall being P2W. Keep up the great work.
  24. I have been following this game for years at this point. I was a little scared from previous "early access" games. After seeing how the game was progressing I realized that this was not an early access game, but a pre-alpha buy in. I love how open the team is with the community and willing to work with us as well. My favorite part of the game so far is the disciplines. Having a base class system is kinda stale, but adding those in is a huge plus for me. Thanks for the great job and I unfortunately only paid for the $80 version so I do not have access to test, but will love to dive into that when it comes live.
  25. After watching the last live stream I realized ( thanks Blair ) that we should have a thread where we post things that we really enjoy about the game. That way if you like it and want to keep it in the game we should all put that information here. Also that way they might even enhance those parts of the game as well. Last thing would be please leave only positive comments, because there are many places to put negative comments. Thanks ACE for this great game!
