I cannot play for more than 20 minutes at times, sometimes I'm lucky to get an hour.

I will be playing, and it seems at the most inopportune time, that my powers will stop working and shortly after I am not able to move.... This of course often ends in death to either players or mobs.

I have an AMD Radeon 6800XT card and an AMD 5800X processor. 32 gb ram, on a 1.2 gig fiber connection.

I do not have this problem in other games.

What's that, people crying about smaller maps, and too little number of zones? It's almost like we have been saying this is a problem for over a year, but nope the zerg guilds like Dissentient, Hax, Winterblades etc, would just keep claiming the maps ( that were the same as what we have now) were actually too big. Claiming that the dregs size was scaled to the 100 - 150 players we had at the time. Well now we have something like 30x the size of the testing pop, and even across 3 servers it's still horrendously over crowded.
I suppose that's what you get when through testing you have developers right in the pocket of zerg guilds, even going so far as to discuss changes in their discords so they only hear a biased and skewed version of opinion from one side of the potential playerbase

5 man groups push 40% of your players to play a healer, of which half are vastly under tuned.  You think 40% of the pop wants to play the same 3 healers?

I would pref 10 man groups. Ever since darkfall thats been my preferred group sizes in PvP games. atleast the dial allows for 10 man by the sound of blair post earlier since that be +5. could be interesting to add friendly fire outside of groups and have a large group size like 10 would make some unused talents/disc more appearling that have group buffs associated with them aswell where they often get neglected at times.

But yeah 5 man is to small cause no matter what people bring 2 healers and then often the last 3 players in the group doesnt do enough dmg to kill the healers so fights go too long between competent teams which often benefits larger faction since they got tones of time to get reinforcments. they also dont leave space for any support character that dont do heavy dmg or heals

Since the 6 man group change happened, I don't think a single complaint was made regarding the new group size. In fact the group size was so popular that people wanted it to extend to the other sections of the game.  Changing it back to 5 man groups is perhaps the worst decision made within the last 2 years.  6 man groups opened up group diversity that had not been seen in the entirety of the games existence. I strongly recommend you reconsider this change.

Since we are talking about campaign knobs, I hope like hell you also have a knob that will quintuple the number of zones per campaign at minimum, and double the size of the zones themselves. We haven't seen any testing,  nor heard any feedback that you are even capable of providing enough room for people, unless you really expect the population of this game to never exceed 200.

That being said..looking forward to how this is going to land...great community. Open table, without the political litmus test (like some guilds). If you're interested, jump in to discord. Great base of people with great leadership,

Not enough content, worlds are TOO SMALL, no "real ownership".

I'll be optimistic.... What would happen if 25k people logged into this game? Resources? Mob Camps? Keeps? Forts?

Gotta feeling this will end badly.

I didn't call it horrendous because I was bad at it. I called it horrendous because I found it horrendous. I know that is tough to comprehend, but it was independent of skill. I just didn't like the feel at all. I'm not here to yuck your yum, though, so I hope you enjoy it and play many hours!

    I would disagree..

I'm not that great at it, but it takes much more skill than Crowfall. If you've fought really good people, you learn your difficiencies. Don't call combat horrendous because you suck at it..

We'll see, i'd be surprised if they hit that number.  You think there is enough content/infastructure/resources in game, as it's currently, to support 100k?

They got 1.625million last year and 1.25 million in march for corona. They listed 60-70 employee's with a 7+million labor cost per year.

Charlie_Bronson reacted to macavity in Crowfall is Shipping July 6!
I'm 99.99% sure they are launching the game because they are doing some kind of "hail mary" play where they're just cutting costs and hoping for the best because they realize that they can't salvage Crowfall as a whole and that they probably know it's going to be a massive failure considering all the tens of millions of dollars they got in funding.
However, just to put the 50-75k number into perspective, we can look at the top 15 Steam charts. ACE needs Crowfall to be more popular than games like ARK, Rust, Warframe, Dead By Daylight, Rocket League, Terraria and so on. Clearly that is never going to happen. They won't be able to even maintain 1/10 of the numbers of those games.
I would really like to hear J. Todd Coleman and Gordon Walton talk about the rationale behind the decision for this launch date, but I doubt we'll hear the true story from them.
