CC has a wealth of veterans who have learned the nuances of the various mechanics and systems Crowfall has. They can vastly reduce the time it takes for you to make a character and then engage in the "end-game" pvp content. Crowfall is not the most approachable game to a newbie. Whether you are casually playing or looking for your next hardcore pvp grind, save yourself the trouble of getting overwhelmed with the character build customization and join CC. They can teach you the game.

So I joined CC a few weeks prior to launch with a few RL friends. It's been a great experience to this point. Even though we're new to the game AND the guild there's always somewhere for us to slot in and learn or participate. The resources they've provided us with in terms of game mechanics and PVP have been immeasurably helpful. And to top it all off Duffy (the guild leader) is well spoken, friendly and accessible, which is kind of amazing considering how much he has on his plate with this size of a guild. If you're looking for a guild that is proficient but still friendly, this is the place to be.

See you in the throne room.

    Lore Version
“It was an easy choice. To chase the secrets of the universe, to see worlds beyond the one of my birth. To walk with gods. To live, learn, and fight for countless lives. Or, I could face oblivion. Who could say no? Eternity, a small price to pay.” - Conn Agon Caelus, Founder
Corvus Citadel is a bastion of knowledge, a grand library among the Eternal Kingdoms.  It stands as a monument to our patron, Yaga, goddess of Knowledge, All things Known and Unknown, collector of souls.  Our goal, nay our purpose, is to ease the passing of worlds by preserving their memory within these hallowed walls. All manner of myths, histories, and secrets may be found here. But heed our warning: knowledge is power and the right words in the wrong ear can shatter worlds or kill a god.

The Corax Council, our leaders, convene in the Hall of Ravens, atop the Citadel. Guiding the Crowguard in war and sending their Seekers to worlds on the cusp of doom. Where the Seeker's white ravens soar, the council is watching, and the Crowguard’s legions are not far behind.

Though our core tenets favor Yaga, and many of us are her crows, upon the mountain you will find temples to the other Moon gods. Malekai the Whisperer, venerated almost as much as Yaga, maintains a hidden temple rumored to contain untold secrets. Seek it out at your own risk, entry will not come cheap. Cults of Illara the Traveler and Kane the Ostracized can also be found among us.

At the base of the mountain, visitors will be greeted by the Jackdaw Market. Offering for trade what resources and trinkets could be saved from dying worlds. If it can be made it can be found among our craftsman's stalls, just ask the nearest thrall if you need assistance.

If you seek knowledge, artifacts, or to join us in our great purpose, the way to the Citadel is open.
    Practical Version
    Who are we?
We’re a group of mature (mainly in age but also a little bit in personality) players ranging from hardcore to casual that enjoy tailoring our theme and interests to the game’s lore. While we’re not dedicated in-character role-players, we do like to keep a consistent theme. We’ll be theming around and supporting the Moon faction when appropriate. We're primarily based in North America and will be playing on the NA servers, but we are open to any interested in playing on said servers.
    Who should join us?
We’re open to those interested in any aspect of the game with any level of commitment. Whether you traditionally consider yourself hardcore, casual, or something in between; if you want to help we can find a place for you. We like to have fun and don’t mind more casual players, but when it’s go time we like to be serious too. If you’re going to participate in our higher level strategy and organized campaign efforts we expect you to be able to follow orders when the time comes.
We only have three general rules:
    1. Respect your fellow players (aka Don’t be a prick)
    2. Respect the chain of command when it it’s time to be serious
    3. Absolutely no racist/sexist/homophobic/etc... insults or commentary
    How are we organized?
Currently we’re maintaining a single guild, Corvus Citadel, but planning for the possibility to maintain multiple core guilds depending on any guild mechanics or limitations revealed later in the game's development. The Citadel's ranks are based on purpose: the Corax Council is our highest level leadership - they guide the citadel's overarching agenda. Seekers are guild's officers: commanding troops, managing logistics, and engaging in diplomacy with other guilds. The Crowguard is our core body that not only makes up our fighting strength but also handles the majority of our gathering and manufacturing. Most of our members will be found among the guard. We will be accepting sub-guilds interested in pledging to the Citadel, unfortunately as mechanics currently dictate they will have to join us within mechanical Corvus Citadel guild. Sub guilds will have the option of being placed into our command structure or keeping their own command as auxiliaries. While we’ll expect auxiliaries to accept some guidance and cooperate with the the rest of the Citadel’s forces, less organizational demands will be expected of them.
Where can you find us in game?
We'll be maintaining an Eternal Kingdom, "Corvus Citadel - The Jackdaw Market" (based around a Mountain Citadel plot), as a community hub open to all. Whether you come to trade, find information, or just to hang out, the door will always be open. Many of us are very crafting minded and we hope to build a thriving marketplace right at the entrance to the Citadel, making quick visits as convenient as possible for shoppers. As the above lore section implies, we will have a strong focus on the gods of the Moon, you’ll find a set of Cathedrals dedicated to them around the mountain.
    Finally...
If any of this sounds interesting and you'd like to join our guild or pledge as a sub-guild you can hop in our discord and drop Duffy a private message indicating your intent or drop us an email at corvus.citadel@gmail.com, I will of course also answer any questions posted in this thread. Portions of our discord are open to the general public so if you just want to hang out and say hello (or eventually maybe do some trading), feel free to stop on by. If you have already talked to one of our officers about joining and have not yet received an invite, you can request an invite via our Guild Profile.

Nebuchad reacted to Staff in 100 Trial kills of Stormcaller Experience
Over the course of the last 2 trials i have almost exclusively played stormcaller with my recent stints on balance during siege as a titan being the only exception and having been the only stormcaller i had ever seen before this campaign i consider myself the one with the most experience on the current iteration of stormcaller and the most experienced with it in sieges, fort fights, and open world small scale and large scale. After playing stormcaller for these 2 campaigns these are my thoughts on it and what can be done to fix things that either dont work the way they should or dont make sense. I dont know which dev is responsible for druid but if you know please tag them in the comments.
    SICKLE AND SHIELD
The other 2 druids get a death tray with their staff, i believe on stormcaller we should have the option to replace the shield and sickle with a staff for extra damage in exchange for extra resistances if we chose too
    ABILITIES
Gaeas wail: Its still dreadful to land and while it hits like a truck its channel is too long to effectively use outside of zergs, this power simply does not work with any form of druid at all and especially not with the leather wearing mobility dependent stormcaller, i would like to see this replaced with a 30m dot that grows stronger with every hit done from your basic sparks perhaps taking 20% of each basic hit and adding it to the dot damage for 5 hits and lasting until a 6 second delay between basics occur.
Lightning burst: another ability unusable outside of zergvzerg situations, it has the same problems as wail, it roots you in place on the first ability, i simply wish to be able to move during every part of this power
Basic hits: As it is now stormcaller is very basic hit heavy like titan is but we dont get an extra 50% basic hit damage to keep at it and unlike titan we dont have several useful damaging abilities, as it is now we have just 1 and thats call storm which in my opinion is perfect as it is. If we're going to remain so basic hit heavy i would like to see more power scale off of basic hits like my wail suggestion
Sacrifice/Ritual Sacrifice: Sacrifice is actually a worthless power and forces us to throw away a passive point so we dont do more damage to ourselves then our enemies in battle, i want to see ritual sacrifice completely replace sacrifice in the talent tree and instead see the slot where ritual is now replaced with a power ill call stormcallers gambit for now which would mark a target, and every basic hit would add 1 mark on that target for 10 seconds, if you give the target 5 marks you get double the essence spent on those basic back but if you dont it takes double the essence away, id like to see more skillful play with stormcaller and i believe this would help raise the ceiling.
Storm Avatar: Please lower the cooldown to 3 minutes that is all.
    PASSIVES
Electric skin: This passive is essential to stormcaller survivability and is currently not working, without it stormcaller is crippled with its survability

Long time gamer, looking forward to learning this game.  I'm old school.  First played EQ, EQ2, Shadowbane, DAOC, Vanguard, Linneage 2, GW2, Warhammer...it's a list.  Love pvp and crafting.  Hoping to find a guild with people of similiar experiences.

Looks like my guildies had some fun. CC is currently filled with mostly new players trying to learn the game and have fun on a faction with very little support. With time they/we will get better. Hopefully all can hang in there during these early stages where gear and experience (knowledge) of the classes will get better.

I mean have you seen the price of video cards these days?  I'm pretty sure the videocard companies took the bottom fork of ranger. Actually I've found the most bang for your buck these days comes from more RAM and a good SSD.  And fortunately neither of those are real budget busters right now.

Oh, for sure on all counts. It's just that I'm due for an upgrade soon anyway and I'm having a fun time testing.

That's a bad combination as far as my wallet is concerned lol. I am holding out how I can.

I hate to say it, but I can't bear to take part in the actual fighting at the keep, I always run around trying to pick people off streaming in or hit the outer trees... It's too laggy, I am having serious issues doing anything with FPS and ping (one of which I can't really do anything about). The need to upgrade my computer is an itch that I should not scratch until the game is stabilized, but JEEZ the fun I'm missing is going to burn a hole in my pocket.

I would be completely OK with the ability to toggle an option that reduces the display to players being  faction-themed cubes in a simple, no-texture world so I could partake.

Thanks, Angelmar! We had a ton of fun and we were glad that our contribution to the battle helped.
Order was super fast on replanting that tree though, so in the end I don't think we could claim a victory, but we learned a lot and look forward to future fights!
