  1. As someone who was in the original Kickstarter for 2 packages (Amber and Gold) I have yet to 'unbundle' any of my packages. Due to RL and events unfolding in my life at this time I have not done this and wondering if these changes would affect anything within those packages? I can unbundle if need be but due to these events I've lost track of the game within the last year (unfortunately). Again, I can unbundle if there is a need but if I can go back to waiting and dealing with RL; it would be best. Many thanks again to the entire CF Team!

  3. Wow.. epic thread and I've only gone in about 20 pages but one of the first thing that came to my mind, other than this is a great system, is the cash store vessel options? Will there be vessels on cash shop? Going with the information we've had since early concept was that there should be no real difference between lootable/ingame items and market/cash shop items. If this is so, are we going to see **UBER Egyption Man 'o Gods** Vessels starting @ 1000 AC Coins or $19.99? Just asking cause I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread. Don't hate.

  5. Honestly, would a death 'vitae' theory work here? By dying you lose some favor with your god and may have to repent (give up something of yourself or material value) to re-establish the good favor? Just thinking back about the hints and not many have 'death penalties' these days but in games like Asheron's Call and others, having corpse runs and working off that vitae penalty was some of the best gaming I can remember. Dropping all your gear with a limited time to get back and recover it before it decays or someone else loots your corpse. I can say without a doubt some very 'emergent play' was created with friends and guild trying to recover bodies, lol.. In fact, the best tactic's we had back then were used in corpse runs

  8. Hmm.. I'll keep trying but you're right when I load it up it loads the majority of 'flavor' but seemingly keeps spinning for a minute or two and I don't see the proper voting 'apparatus' so I'll keep trying!

  10. Active Deity system where boons are granted based on favor battling for your God? I mean, I was pretty sure that was talked about from the start but now can't remember Much like DAoC used to have those factional +exp, +whatever back in the day if your realm captured the artifacts..
  11. And they get destroyed at the end of the campaign so each world is different each time. As they develop the lore, the.MO s and the it's they can easily integrate the new bits into the back end arcitecture and the world's 'evolve' as the game ages. The campaign world's we first see won't be the ones we see at the end. It's also a great horizontal platform to scale up or down as needed which is great 8f you've ever gone through a server merge or consolidation.

  16. While reading Todd's reply in the other thread I do agree that the loop was already in place, albeit just with other resources, and I do agree with the value of items at a base value. I was never against the idea of common 'coinage' but rather the implications that it may bring in doing so. Gold farmers, Chicken hoarder's and Goat brokers were always going to happen since value will be placed upon those assets but could at least the 'Minting' of those coins be a trade or skill that only those who wish to pursue it yield better results? Think as such a common man who has no skill at refining or minting coins can still get a handful of coins from ore, lets say 5 for every 1 unite of ore but someone who has trained their skill yield more due to said skill; say 8 for every 1 unite of ore. Then you have the max Minter who gets a whole 10 coin for every unit of 1 ore. Each player CAN do the conversion, albeit at a reduced rate, which would then introduce yet another commodity, in the form of skill/labor, to perform such tasks AS WELL a loop to keep a constant influx if new coins into the system? What's worse than mounds and coffers full of coin made days, weeks and years ago? We need some ability to 'bleed' out the riches over time and reducing the ability to transmute those resources 1 for 1 allows for losses to balance out the mounds of gold. Now, any good guild/clan will have to have a 'Master of Coin' who can do the transmutation with a higher rate of success but also adds as a 'disadvantage' on the battlefield play. Just random thoughts..
  17. As someone who has yelled a few times for 2FA already.. I applaud and thank you graciously. Implementing now, while likely hard, is easier than dealing with the support issues as the game comes to fruition and those nasty people start to hack, swindle and steal accounts. My thanks, ~Icky
  18. Keep them 1 denomination, say gold only or some lore specific name, and be done with it. We don't need gold, silver, bronze, whatnot to make things 1g 25s 300br so we can still use bartering as a 'piecemeal mechanic' in trading. "How much for that Uber Sword?" "That's 2g for the fine craftsmanship.." "How about 1g and 32 chickens?' "Done.." Also, has any thought been on the potential third-party 'currency' sellers? Is Crowfall going to be full of mining bots [albeit cash cows for pvp mind you] with chat spam such as '~~~ ATTN CROWFALL ORENS 1/2 OFF - BESTEST PRICE IN LAND, 100-10$US, BUY,BUY,BUY~~~'?

  20. As stated earlier got my email earlier in the day (EB Amber) and applied to my account no issues. @ACE Is there any talk of security going forward with SSL or 2FA?   21. I've noticed the lowercase as well and didn't remember if I used upper or not.. I did, however, look for a way to change it back, lol. I have received my KS pledge code as well but have yet to link it but may do it this evening.
  22. I'm in agreement with Nyt here.. We need a more secure environment. Having just a "forum" account only is one thing but now linking monetary assets to the same account without a secure environment; is a problem waiting to happen. It won't be a matter of 'If' but rather 'when'. 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) also would be nice if not for the entire account [ala ArcheAge learned their lesson about not using 2FA] if we are to link those monetary assets to this forum account let alone the game account in the future.
