carrot dug many graves, he like this, body bits, soon carrot will have nice blue vassal and will go dig more graves in next big world.
Some say carrot eat bits he dug from graves but this is not true.

we're gonna wipe when 6.0 happens, if you wipe now then wipe in like 3 weeks you will kill the tester base even more unless you added something huge like dregs or frostweaver, then people might stay around and endure the punishment with an ever growing hatred for anyone who has ever said the word wipe

I think wipes should happen when there is a good testing reason for it - either significant changes that technically require it, or to collect testing data that couldn't be done without a wipe.

Wiping at this time without a HUGE content upgrade or big change in structure/rules would be a mistake.  It's not about equality it's about testing and working out what works. Maybe by having a divergent range of skill levels will show up where some changes need to be made once the game goes beta.

as someone who only started the game a few months ago I disagree. I have had no problem finding productive things to do and participate in. If anything the issues are with the active lvling system not the passive one.

Don't want to be to controversial but why lvl at all?
Why cant we create fully grown chrs .
Leveling and exping were an invention of original DnD and its now an artifact passed on from game to game. Crowfall as far as I can see has the objective of RvR,PvP.GvG etc not explore the ever changing word/complete quests raids  etc.
so let's ditch leveling and experience, enhance chr creation?
If your trying to something different and unique then do it.

I look forward to trying this out as the current sistem simply doesn't work.
I would like to see a system developed that's based on preconditions rather than timed tho.

My idea is that when you get to 30 you continue to gain exp. When a specific amount is reached either an item is generated or possible one is created by visiting a specific place. This item can then be crafted ( runecrafting, necromancy) into an high numbed sacrifice item that can be traded/ given to an alt to lvl them up.
This would help lvling vassals especially if gold cant do it and add another interesting method of trade/crafting.

If there’s no pvp it’s not the fault of GR... that is, unless, you consider acceptable PvP to be against players who can’t or don’t know how to fight back.  We already have 1 @ZYBAK , seats taken.

Reach out for actual pvp.  We’ll set it up however you want.

Seems like someone missed reading this FAQ, which really has not changed since pretty much day one.
Nowhere in anything I have read from ACE says that the game is going to be exclusively ANYTHING. In fact, the difficulty of the described above quotes from the FAQ include a less challenging zone of faction play, up to and including complete free for all zones.
So no, it's not a waste of developer time to build a campaign world different from the one you happen to have been sold on, nor are they obligated to have a variety or specific campaign world style available during development. I am sure many of us would have prefered if they had started with the free for all ruleset, but logically, and realistically, they have to start with the most protected style as close to the start as possible, because otherwise they could paint themselves into a development corner when it comes to trying to shoehorn in protections later.  It's much easier to simply turn off protections and raise difficulty, than add them after the fact.
Different types and difficulties of campaign worlds has always been part of the package, and there is no reason to expect that the one you prefer is the one they will be focusing on at any particular time during the development process.

Carrothead reacted to KrakkenSmacken in So much for 24/7 testing
You could you know, go try out the latest and greatest on test if you don't like spending time in GR. This isn't a launched game yet, so maybe lower your expectations about 24/7 campaign uptime.  24/7 testing is still a thing, just not testing the thing you happen to want to test, not all the things that need to be tested.

Besides, there have been complaints from the other side of the argument about 24/7 daily competition being too draining.  Go take a few days break if you find nothing interesting to do in GR.
