  3. One only needs to look at Wildstar's development to know what happens when you build a game that is too inaccessible and difficult for the average gamer. For those that don't know... it's a recipe for failure. Make the game as fun as possible for the most amount of people = success and longevity. Make the game inaccessible, overly hard/complicated = empty servers
  4. I think we are safe. There really isn't a whole lot of pre alpha testers and hunger dome requires quite a few

  6. I get the "minority" by comparing populations of MMOs with reticle targeting systems vs MMOs without Tera, Eso, dark fall vs WoW, Guildwars, Swtor, wildstar

  8. Movement is the big picture. Not having full control of my character or telling my character to go left and it goes forward or my character stopping and starting every 3 seconds is terrible

No reason why Crowfall couldn't go for a fully aimed system while allowing free movement on a majority of the skills

  12. Didn't need an explanation of the fight. Needed an explanation on why this combat system is better than guild wars 2. Regardless, having watched Obs LoDs videos from today, the combat seemed decent under 200 ms. I'm cautiously optimistic

  16. Soon after the release of that concept video, a small, but very vocal group of forum goers freaked out over it and the Devs agreed to re do the entire system with a TERA style combat system and reticle
  17. Of course if I don't like the finished product I won't be sticking around. My goal however... And sole reason for me being here and testing, is to help make sure I enjoy the finished product. Pretty much the same reason everyone else is here. With that said, it's not appropriate for someone to say "I want it this way if you don't like it you should leave!"

  19. Well, sorry your felt that way. Wasn't my intention. The $500 was in response to another forum member who told me to leave because he didn't like what I posted in my own thread. I replied to him I will if he wants to pay me the money I paid to support this game. Think that's pretty fair

  21. I wasn't a fan of Guild wars 2 comeback mechanic. Once you're dead, you should be dead and unable to deal damage
  22. I was never able to play TERA past level 10... Couldn't get over the terrible combat system. I've heard multiple people say that TERA's combat got significantly better at max level with high end gear. If that's the case then please make sure we have TERAs max level combat speed right out of the gate at level 1 If they added the ability to move while attacking that would be great... but can you explain how momentum to attacks would make combat better? If you and I are facing each other attacking, wouldn't the movement cause us to pass each other? Or if i was attacking you while moving to the left, would my character move forward and not left?
  23. Guild wars 2 and Wildstar's action combat were miles better than tera's. The only thing Tera brought was great hit detection.
  24. Because I paid 500 bucks after being sold a concept that was changed completely around. If you want to give me the 500 back I'd gladly leave and never return. If not then suck it up
