Getting back to back AoE champion stuns combo'd into Whirling Pain + Condemnation is definitely...favorable. If only we could have things go that well for us all the time. Crowfall can definitely be played at a pretty technical level which is something I was worried about at first. It's only going to get better with the client based movement and lag improvements. Towards the end of the night our 5 man LotD group also ran into Dreaden/Stubbs/Zybak/etc in the village. We got decimated pretty quick. Good job fellas. What is really cool about this is that earlier in lobby chat there was some bellyaching about how the meta has so quickly devolved into only Fessor/Horse groups. Not so fast! The rotating Flying Neckbreaker champ group is the perfect counter to a bunch of enemy Fessors looking to stand on you with pulsing Hellfire Aura. There is already significant depth in the meta with only 4 archetypes bringing 6 powers - just wait till we get 12 archetypes with +3 promotion classes and +3 disciplines! What is really cool about this is that earlier in lobby chat there was some bellyaching about how the meta has so quickly devolved into only Fessor/Horse groups. Not so fast! General perception is that people are playing Fessor over Champ/Knight because it is easier to land AOE spells than melee hits. One group of players understood the power of the AOE cc available to the Champ. I really don't see anything "busted" here, rather some perceptive advancement of the meta. Rend applying during invulnerable states is not busted? If they are aiming for a 40 second TTK then that bleed is way off from the direction they initially wanted to go.
