You made me accidentally give clicks to social justice warriors.

Honest question, how are the guys from extra credits social justice warriors? I don't follow them regularly, but what I did follow I never really saw what I would define as SJW behavior.

Do you have examples I can look at?

They at least manage to keep it out of Extra Credits most of, but not all of the time, but outside the show they frequently go full Anita Sarkeesian, gleefully demonizing gamers and accusing Gamergate of being a hate group despite multiple studies, tons of statistics and an FBI investigation saying otherwise. Even to the point of comparing it to the KKK. Here's an example. https://youtu.be/CbNHIYCV33o?t=9m40s And even in Extra Credits they frequently regurgitate SJW and/or Jack Thompson talking points, albeit in a slightly more subtle way. Like the whole series of "gamers are dead" articles orchestrated by SJW gaming sites like Kotaku and Polygon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HXJLTtMIHU&t=158s Or how The Division is brainwashing us into violent totalitarians. Bonus SJW points for using the word "problematic" and implying that people can somehow subconsciously be racist without knowing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jKsj345Jjw&t=1s There are probably better examples, but I'm super lazy so this is what you get.

Thanks for informing me.

Sad that people think that laws and policing of speech somehow means that more voices get heard. (First video, 13:20)

Of course ignoring someone's arguments and reasoning in one regard (game design), because of who they are and not the arguments themselves is classic ad hominem, I can respect not wanting to support people financially who hold these sorts of views. SJW pollution is everywhere these days, and it's really sad how many well intentioned people get sucked in by those who think the answer is to silence and drive underground dissenting and often times idiotic voices, rather than exposing them and defeating them with sound argumentation.

Ironically I refuse to play League of Legends, a game I used to love, and will not give Riot money and the content of my participation because of their companies development of Sesame Credits in China, something I learned about from Extra Credits.

I am mostly an explorer but I feel that Bartle's taxonomy is missing a major factor, how players interact and/or act upon the actual character in which you play. So in better terms I as a player care about interacting both with the character I'm playing and with the world, as opposed to other players or acting upon. This means I like things like cosmetic customization, explore a world and setting and having my character interact with the world.
