My first impressions on the Duelist with some decent solo ganking. Really enjoying the Duelist despite not being the type of player who likes playing finesse style characters.

Not to discount your duelist gameplay, but that confessor gameplay at the end was great. Good video!

Yea it was pretty fun to watch.

Nice video, contains loads of useful info on the duelist.

Would like to see some more group vs group duelist combat similar to that Confessor part (which was sick btw, that's exactly the kind of stuff I'd show to my friends to grab their attention for this game).

I have a feeling Duelists will end up playing the control or multi-dot role in most team fights.

I dont think duelists will be in most team fights. They lack AoE damage, survivablity, AoE CC, debuffs, no heals that really makes them fit in a team. Best case they can sneak off a kill on someone. They are single target damage.

I think they are specialists for a reason. They will fit in to group tactics but not in to group fighting, example would be team draw the enemy away from something while the duelists can sabotage and/or kill people left behind to guard. I dont think they will be meat for the grinder, they will have particular tasks and can take advantage of future mechanics.

They make great scouts in a pinch for now. We had one particularly great rat scout this weekend.
