Very nice hampster play

I don't want to kill more rats, fill another experience point bar or collect another meaningless badge. I want to play a GAME against PLAYERS, where my actions, my decisions and my SKILL will determine if I win or lose. Allies. Enemies. Alliances. Betrayal. risk. Conquest. To compete with THOUSANDS of other players for a chance to claim the THRONE. Even if i lose, the experience won't feel hollow. I don't want another worthless trophy.

Good plays. I still get uneasy about the amount of CC, and the ability to CC chain out of a duration-less stealth is pretty troubling, IMO. I know many players love it, but it just doesn't seem to fit in a game built around PvP to have a class that can decide completely whether they want to engage.

 

Hopefully stealth detection is not limited like it was in Shadowbane, or we may get Stealthfall eventually.

The dizzy down stuff can be negated by using "C". 

 

Duelists are pretty garbage in group fights and are dead meat if caught outside of stealth so I don't see an issue with them being powerful from stealth. Gotta be good at something. It's a specialist role and I think they will specialize in infiltration (via pass wall) and taking down solo targets.

Yeah, I've played almost completely purely as a Duelist, and we are so freaking useless in group fights. Best I can do in group fights is skirt along the outside and expose targets, and possibly (if I'm really lucky) catch someone trying to run away.
