Quantity over Quality

In the recipe-less world, sometimes it is better to use lower quality materials and make multiple copies of an item, rather than spend that time collecting higher quality materials. With multiple experimentation rolls, even at a lower number of pips, your chances of getting something good go up. Here's an example of what can happen, when you use a mix of qualities:

When beta starts and afterward, we'll have production systems possible, so if we get a string of amazing successes on an item we should probably blueprint it when we can, regardless of the quality of ingredients..

To make it easy to sort my recipes I'll probably try to always use the same tier resource quality the whole way, unless one type has a big surplus of better quality resources. But as you've demonstrated, mixed quality resources can make better items than all lower quality resources.

I think the K-Mart of MMO's already exists!  And it ain't us!   :)
