So we are using the LIVE version, just a black screen

Recommended Posts

The last time I played, it was the new Test version.  I missed last weekend, so this weekend it says to use the LIVE version but all I get is a black screen.  Any help/info appreciated.  Thanks!

update video drivers?

tried this?

go to Documents/Art+Craft/Crowfall and delete the settings file before running the older version. The new settings file is not compatible with the older version.   You will get a black screen if you don't do this!

or just download new client again?

bearing in mind this issue of it freezing?

or open up ports?

ok let me put it this way.  What has changed?  I'm running 5.1.1 LIVE.  Nothing's wrong with my video card/drivers.  Do you have to delete and reinstall the LIVE and Test versions every time they start a new version?  No patcher?

that's pretty old

download the patcher and run it again... you have to download the whole game every time anyways.
