You can gift packages as long as they are not unbundled an no building deed is currently claimed ingame. If you unbundled your package, you would have to call support@crowfall.com to rebundle it, before you can gift the complete bundle. If you have on of the building deeds in use ingame, you'll have to wait until they get reset. So yes, you will be able to gift your package after the next reset, when you claim your castle ingame now.
